What a hidden gem! Passing through, and we were so pleasantly surprised. The fries were great, the gravy delicious, the turkey was moist. I’ll make a detour to stop here any chance i get!!

A great meal every time we visit. Service is good, staff pleasant, food delicious and hot. Very clean and attention to sanitizing is evident. My Philly cheesesteak was customized and came out as ordered. Really good French fries 🍟 that were very unique. Dessert case filled with many varieties of pies and cakes.

The food is ok, the service isnt great. Staff is friendly enough but we werent even finished and the waitress put our check on our table and vanished. We needed a box for my wifes meal and I wanted something sweet, oh well...
Good service, ambiance is fitting but the quality of ingredients is awful. Orange juice = tang , home fries = frozen French fry wedges( terrible) eggs benedict = silver dollar size and extremely bland. I dont want to hear about soaring prices when the food is so cheap you serve up.
A fantastic establishment - in ever way! Great employees and great customers. I came all the way from Hawaii (Where I now reside) to go to this place - while on the way to a Bills game.

After a not so pleasant experience on the phone ordering delivery, i received my order promptly and by one of the owners. She apologized for the experience with the woman on the phone and said she spoke with her about it. I was shocked at the fast response and in person from the owner. She gave us our entire meal free of charge and was super heartfelt and sincere. I cannot express how satisfied i am with her response and care she had for us as customers. I genuinely do love their food, the never take long to deliver and I would totally reccomend the chili, its me and my husbands new favorite! Our kids love the pancakes too! Of course we will continue to order regularly.

This place is very homey and the people who work here are so incredibly nice and sweet. The food is excellent and I recommend highly of this place. If you are looking for a late night dinner or early breakfast to chill or hang out with family this is the place.
We love Miss Batavia! Being new to the area we were really looking for a locally owned, new family favorite. We found it here! They have a large menu and the food is really amazing. Their Friday night seafood is our favorite. The only thing better is the family that owns it. Check them out ♥️

My food was ok but my wifes was burger was missing stuff that we pay extra for and we called a told about it they said they would make some sauteed onions and mushrooms for her burger I get there and they hand me a cup with the stuff for the burger instead of remaking the whole burger . I said to them I want the burger remade because by the time I get the old burger home it would cold and my wife want hot food for as much as we paid for it. Only thing that was good was the peanut butter pie

Went and had lunch with my best friend and it was so good! It was my first time at Miss Batavia. The staff was quick as well as pleasant! And my deluxe cheeseburger with jalapenos was just as good! Will definitely be going there again very soon!

Great diner with friendly staff and owner. Food was fresh and tasty with good sized portions at a fair price. The restaurant itself is very clean and well kept. Miss Batavia has a casual atmosphere with an eclectic mix of tables and chairs. Wouldnt hesitate to stop there again, whenever Im in the area.
This was my first time visiting this establishment. It was good. I had no complaints about my food, in fact the hamburger that I had was delicious. The chicken noodle soup was pretty good as well. The wait staff was very friendly too. I will be back to eat here some day. I definitely recommend going there to have a bite to eat.

The food in service are great as always, the desserts are to die for. It is centrally located bring right in the city of Batavia and the facility is well maintained and always clean. My in-laws are from out that way and we frequently go there with or without each other. I certainly recommend the place, and I put it up there with my must-tries.

Amazing staff, food, and atmosphere. Everyone is like family. I love the homemade soups- the Manhattan clam chowder and lobster bisque are my favorites. I would recommend Miss Batavia to anyone for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

Ordered a BLT for my lunch and it was delicious! My only complaint is that the tomatoes were just a tad too thick for my liking but other then that the service was prompt and the food was still yummy! Will be returning again very soon!

I go here every year as an anniversary of coming to NY being it was the first place I ever ate in this state 9 years ago. They have been doing a wonderful job following the covid protocols.

Not enough help there, the girl at the register saw us come in, didnt acknowledge us, just passed us by. The place was crowded with only 2 waitresses. Food was fair not great.
Ive been to Miss Batavia once a month since the beginning of the year. I admit that last time was almost our last. The potatoes were served pretty cool and the waitress was cooler. The difference was enough to make me decide to try again. My girlfriend and I meet there this morning. The service and the food were great, right on par with all the previous times (minus last months). Im thankful we tried again, because I have no reservations about giving this place a 5 start rating. Please keep up the good work.

Our food took 10 minutes longer than they said, our order was missing two items, that we found when we got home. We just werent impressed....was okEdit:. The owner contacted me and apologized and even offered to deliver one of the missing items personally. His efforts and costomer service will have us trying the restaurant again.
This is one of the least impressive restaurants in Batavia. The food is definitely overpriced, and in my opinion, and my friends overall consensus, the food isnt very impressive either.Although, the Bathroom is always very clean and you can pretty much always find a decent seat here. Servers arent exactly exceptional either. I still go here sometimes, but rarely, because Id rather go to a fast food place than Miss Batavias. McDonalds is right across the street, the employees are nicer the food is practically equal in taste and quality but costs~1/3rd and you dont have to tip a waitress that you werent even satisfied with, either.

The Diner is always a great place to go not only for food but also for the service, the owners make themselves known and constantly check in with customers to make sure everyone is pleased during their time in the restaurant. People rave about the vintage decor and love the touch that the new owners have put on it! I would recommend Miss Batavia Diner to anyone and everyone!!

Had a great dinner with my sil and two children ages 4 and 11. Service was fast, our waitress was wonderful and the food was great. My SIL said it was the cleanest bathroom she has been to at a restaurant.
A very nice hometown diner, with classic American dishes and reasonable prices. Weve been several times with our teenagers and had good food and fast service. Id give it five stars if everything we ate was made on premises, but the pizza rolls and fries were packaged. Our soup and entrees are usually homemade or home-cooked. The place is clean and well-kept with a family restaurant / diner atmosphere. Parking is in the back, so dont worry about not seeing any place to park. This is one of the places that the locals do actually visit, so if youre looking for the hometown experience, this is one of the few places to be.

Over fried fish plus it was not hot on arrival. Lemon wedge very small..., small enough that it couldnt contribute some acidity to the greasy, frier burned fish.... Less than a satisfactory experience! Wont take a second chance at Miss Batavia Dinner!

Portion sizes were large but home fries were gross. It was a mix of mashed potatoe like substance and chunks of potatoes that where orange in color. To top off the taste I burned my mouth attempting to eat them. They did have a cooler full of delicious looking desserts.
It was ok. It was clean, but very bland. I had the chicken Caesar wrap and there was no flavor to it. French fries were not salted. Had the hamburg soup and that was delicious at least. People were nice.
Two recent visits. One was Good Friday. Delicious Fish Fry. Again this AM. Best Eggs Benedict we have had in this city for sure. Also had a Fruit Crepe to die for! Wonderful Owners, staff, and service. Forget Dennys and Sportos. No comparison in the food. Cant say enough!

My family and I were passing through on the way to Rochester and had heard good things about this place. Unfortunately we were severely disappointed in the food and service. Even worse, it felt like we were in the middle of an episode of hoarders with everything all over the walls.

Was not happy with the food at all. first 2 visits were great but stopped on 11-7-18 and everything was nasty except the seafood bisque. steak was overdone and tough plus salty as all hell. fiance ordered the crab stuffing topped haddock. it tasted like cardboard lierally. chili had almost no stock (7 beans in a full bowl) and tasted like tomato paste. you couldnt even taste any chili seasoning in it. in the end 50 bucks for 2 ppl and entire peice of fish went to my dogs along with 1/2 the steak. very dissappointed with the taste and quality of the food.

A little bit slow, but its not usually. Food was just as good as youd expect from a local diner such as this. Staff has always been nice, and everything was quite clean.

Honestly we were a little unsure of what to expect tonight, but we wanted to not go to the same few places in town. You can only eat so many subs and pizzas, you know... We were very happy we tried Miss Batavia!

My order was wrong and when this was brought to the attention of the waitress she told me that what she brought out is what I ordered. There was never an offer to fix the order. On top of the food being wrong, it was cold and didnt have much flavor. I dont plan on going back.

2021-07-13Miss Batavia Diner has lots of parking and plenty of seating. The menu has a lot of different options to chose from. We ordered Buffalo chicken salads with Bleu cheese dressing. It was a good sized salad with French fries in it. I am sure we will visit here again.

2022-07-17A friend and I stopped in for early dinner. I was impressed with the several choices for fish dinner on the menu. I ordered the beer battered fish fry, fries and coleslaw. The whole meal was delicious. This restaurant never disappoints ❤.

2022-07-19My experience here wasnt great. I was with a group, I think everyone else mostly enjoyed their food, service was decent. I ordered a basic breakfast, eggs, toast, bacon, hashbrowns. I asked for the eggs well done, they were still runny; I asked for the toast dry, it was buttered; I asked for the hashbrowns crispy, they were very pale and soft... the bacon was cooked great though. Im not in a rush to go back.

2019-08-17First time coming here, diner yes, the food was fantastic the ambiance was like you stepped back into time.The staff very friendly. I had there corn beef hash with eggs, it was the best corn beef I had had in a long time. My friend had there French onion soup, here is the kicker not made with swiss cheese but with provolone, so you have to try this! All in all it had a 5 star rating from me! Great place, great food, great staff!! Will definitely be back

2020-08-28First time in the US so havent been to a lot of different diners. But this one got an old school feeling to it with great breakfasts on their menu and it comes at a good price. Friendly waiters and good service.
