Worked a wedding here recently and WOW. Besides being a historic location tucked away in the hills of the Hudson Valley, this venue was clean, organized, and accommodating. We worked with Stephanie and two other women who kept the wedding running on schedule (almost to the minute, it was wildly impressive). If youre considering this spot for a special event, be prepared to be whisked away from the hustle & stress of larger party spaces. The staff was courteous, attentive, and incredibly punctual!

We visited Mt Gulian for a wedding this weekend and it was lovely. The site itself is very beautiful during the fall and you can often be surprised by wildlife, like turkeys or deer. The Dutch Barn has a great history and is a fun, rustic spot for all kind of gatherings.

I brought my daughter and my 2 granddaughters for the Spring Tea. We arrived to linen tablecloths, lovely china teacups, saucers, a teapot with an assortment of tea, cream, sugarcubes and sweet biscuits. That was followed by finger sandwiches and dessert. The children made their way downstairs to create an Easter craft followed by an egg hunt. The enthusiasm of the volunteers made us all feel very welcome. The home itself is as if you walked back to time; the wood work, furnishings and period decor. Throughout the main rooms are large displays and wallprints telling the history of the home and community. A lovely and educational event. Look forward to exploring more of this priceless venue. Just feet from the mighty Hudson.....a treasure.

Friendly guides. If you are interested in history, specially a well maintained 300 year old house and property over looking the Hudson. Nice spot for a wedding.
