We chose Moving Music for our wedding in Niagara Falls, and everything went perfectly. Dan was on it from start to finish, hitting cues for our entrances, playing great music and helping us make the wedding experience the best day of our lives.Leading up to the wedding, Dan Dobson helped us out a lot in suggesting ways to liven up the reception. We took his advice in playing the shoe game, which ended up being one of the funniest moments of the day. He also suggested a generations dance, which was perfect for our guest list. Most of our guests were already married (most of them 20+ years), so it was nice for us to give them a chance to celebrate their marriages too.We couldnt have asked for a better DJ experience for our wedding.
Yes, Daniel, with Moving Music is the best. His quick response to all our questions gave us peace of mind an we knew they are professionals. The person working our open booth kept the party going and there are great photos and happy guests. The wedding event goes so fast, the photo booth captures guests having fun and enjoying the day. Thanks for capturing the love and laughter of the evening.
We had DJ Danny for our 8/1/2020 wedding and he was amazing!!!! Due to Covid-19 restrictions we were not able to have a dance floor but DJ Danny kept the party going! All of my guests said they had an amazing time, I cannot say enough about how wonderful of a job he did! I (the bride) ended up severely dehydrated and was out of commission for around an hour and he kept the party going to the extent that not many people realized that I was gone! He really put in the extra effort to make it a beautiful, memorable night! I cannot say enough about what an amazing job he did! Thank you Danny!!!
Fantastic experience using moving music this past weekend for mine and my husbands wedding! DJ Danny D was great, he was very accommodating and we had a packed dance floor the entire night. Highly recommend this company to everyone, wonderful experience.
We had such a positive experience with Moving Music! Dan was accommodating, responsive, and worked with us to understand what we were looking for. He helped us find a package for DJ, photo booth, and uplights. DJ Danny D was our DJ for the night - he was an absolute hit and kept our guests dancing all night! Afterwards, we had so many guests tell us how awesome our DJ was and ask us for his information. The photobooth was being used all night and our guests loved the ability to get the photos sent to their phones and get a copy of their photo strips for everyone! Overall, were so glad that we chose moving music and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the full package at an affordable price!
Very disappointed. We had DJ Norm for our Son’s wedding reception. Norm was not professional, he ignored many requests to play a better variety of music - we heard many excuses. I don’t know if there was poor communication within the company but the music played in the first two hours was not what was provided in advance by the the bride and groom. It was not until he was given an extra $100 dollars in cash and a second playlist that things turned around. Norm certainly did not provide the service that was well paid for.
Dj Danny D was a rockstar by far the best DJ I have ever worked with. He was on time and on point the entire day. I was the bride and nothing happened with out my consent which was awesome he treated me and my husband like gold. Even the weeks following up to the wedding he would let me call or text him whenever I needed to change a song or anything! Bottom line I would recommend him for any event I throw or any of my family and friends throw! Rockstar DJ Danny D!!!!!!!! And I have to mention how awesome the photo booth people where they made my special day extra special! Shout out to Kathy whom did an amazing job with the photo booth!!! Moving Music provided the DJ and photo booth for my son’s bar mitzvah and we are so pleased! The DJ Norm Weiler was awesome and the photo booth backdrop, props and attendants were fabulous! The owner Dan was extremely responsive and helped calm me down a few times! I highly recommend contacting them for a quote!
We had DJ Dan on our wedding day, 2/8/2020 and he was awesome. He was so nice and was genuinely caring about how things sounded and looked. He truly wanted us to have exaclty what we wanted and he did a good job of feeling the crowd. He did all the things you would expect from a professional DJ. We didnt want the classic wedding playlist and our do not play list was longer and more important to stick to than our please play list. We knew what we DIDNT want so we gave him that list (over 50 classic wedding songs) and my husband and I created a joint spotify playlist of all the songs we liked so he could get a feel for our taste. Dan clearly reviewed that list because all night long he played songs from it. It was so awesome listening to songs we knew and loved at a wedding, and not just the everyday songs you get at every other wedding. the price was good and the service was perfect. I looked around at other places before choosing moving music, and they really offered the most. Especially because lighting was included. I would highly recommend these guys.
I have never planned a wedding nor did I have any ideas as to how the day would be. After multiple calls to other DJ companies, I did not feel comfortable with any of them and started to feel discouraged when my then fiance asked me to make one last call. I called Moving Music and spoke with Dan, the owner. After 55 minutes and our 1000 questions, Dan made us so comfy and relaxed, we chose to go with the FULL PACKAGE for a price that fit our budget...DJ, photo booth, uplights, monogram of our intials. Our DJ walked us through the day and had everything and everyone on schedule and at the same time he had the dance floor filled all night and our guests didnt want to leave so we stayed for 2 more hours. The mirror photo booth was a HUGE HIT with the social sharing option sent to multiple cell phones so the guests can share on social media. The uplights gave the room a whole new look and the monogram added that extra hint of elegance to make OUR DAY that much more special. I would recommend Moving Music to everyone I ever come across. 5 STARS in every catagory, professionalism, elegance, class, knowledge and quality.
If you want to dance and have the best time of your life get Michael Clavell as your DJ. He was amazing. He made sure everything was perfect and got everyone dancing. Everyone can’t stop raving of how good the music was.
My husband and I booked Moving Music to DJ our wedding and they did a phenonemal job! Tony was better than we could have asked for... he truly kept the party going all night long. It is true when they say that a DJ can make or break an event and Tony truly made our wedding reception a huge success. We could not have been happier! In addition to simply playing incredible music, Tony was basically our event planner for the night- making sure everything happened at the right time and saw that everything went off without a hitch. He was absolutely amazing... I would recommend Tony and Moving Music to anyone looking for an excellent DJ. Thank you!!
High Recommended. I hired them for my wedding back in Oct. I had a DJ and photo booth and uplighting. I talked to my Dj (Luke) on the phone a week or so prior and was able to go over detials (which was nice being a busy bride). We went over every detial and concern and I felt in good hands. Everyone loved the cocktail and dinner music Luke suggested for me. I got many compliments on it being a good range of music. I have been to so many weddings where I feel that the DJ can take over and I knew that was something I did not want. I did not want my DJ telling everyone to scream and lets make some noise all evening (yes Ive been to wedding like that and I felt it runied the music). He had a great sence of what was good for the mood of the night. If he saw people werent into the song and a lot of people left the dance floor he would cut it short to get everyone back dancing with a new song (which only happend once I beleive). I had zero problems and was very happy with my choice.Photo booth was great too! I was a little nervous when I saw that the girls looked to be in there very early 20s running the booth. But they were very professional and did a great job putting our book together we got at the end of the night of all the photos from the booth. I cant say enough good things about this company. They were very accommodating and easy to get ahold of when I need questions answered.
Norm is a true professional in the industry. After 30+ years of being a DJ the man knows what he’s doing. The energy in the music he plays and the light show he brought capped off the night for us. It was exactly what my wife and I wanted.
We had an amazing reception! Jaws, our DJ, was a lot of fun. He played great music that had just about everyone dancing all evening! I would definitely recommend him. People are still talking about how much fun it was!
Overall we were disappointed, we started planning early and tried our best to communicate everything we wanted.Ill start with this, first and foremost we were running a little late(thats on us). However, this is not an excuse for starting a first dance song before the bride and groom our on the floor. We had to tell him to replay as rush to the floor and rather than stopping and waiting for us to get to floor, he just started the song over as we still were walking over.They use a website and somethings were not reviewed, such as a change to the brides family introduction song, even though we communicated this several times. He did cut the songs correctly.We asked for an announcement that the centerpieces were to be given away and whomever had a chip under there chair won it. This wasnt announced, so at the end we had some people that didnt get an opportunity to get one and others take 3.Lastly, I called the owner and even though he said he will look into he didnt seem to have a concerned or want to try to do anything to fix the situation of feel any real remorse for issues.Also, just something I noticed, our DJ is one of the people who wrote a 5 star review on google.
Moving Music was a great addition to our post prom party. We had a photo booth, karaoke and DJ services. The kids enjoyed the evening and we look forward to using them again!
Moving Music is consistently professional and overall great to work with. We have been using them for our organizations functions for the past few years and its the best addition to our events. HIGHLY recommend this company!
From the time my wedding started things were being messed up My mom had to go up to him during my ceremony to tell him to switch over the songs he kept coming up and asking me questions but wasnt doing what I told him to do ando I have video proof showing what he was doing wrong called everybodys name wrong at the reception double calling people. I was told when I booked with them that I would have a lighting system that was not there He was not active with the crowd I said I wanted music to be played from the eighties nineties and 2 thousands and he was mostly playing older music unless you went up there and request his stuff 7 Definitely not worth the money that was paid I emailed them with my Concerns and they have not emailed me back
I was a panicky mess the day of my party and Lindsey from MM was so patient and kind. Once we got through the surprise part of the event I was able to relax and everyone really loved the photobooth and personalized picture strips. Very high quality work, very nice people. Many thanks to them and would highly recommend them for any fun event.
Tony DJed our wedding and he was great. He also did karaoke for our bachelor/bachelorette party. They were both a great time and the dance floor was always full!
Moving Musics photobooths are the life of the party! The owner Dan runs a pretty well oiled machine and its easy to get set up with a photobooth AND a DJ
Plays various artists singing other musicians... (think late night TV best of box set CDS...) Cant get into the music and Im drinking. The music in the mens room was more exciting.... OK at best

2022-06-27We had Jeff Avery as our wedding DJ and are so happy that we did. He was so easy to work with prior to the big day, and kept all our guests happy and dancing throughout the night. He was able to accommodate our Polish traditions and correctly pronounced all of the difficult names in our bridal party. We highly recommend Jeff to anyone looking for a DJ!

2022-07-07We hired Moving Music to DJ our wedding and were assigned Danny Dobson through their agency. Danny was super nice to work with, however we did have a few issues that both we (the bride & groom) and guests had noticed on the wedding day. Danny, myself (bride) and our wedding planner had all been in communication a few weeks prior to the wedding and met to go over all of the details leading up to the wedding, which was extremely helpful and organized. We had sent all of our music information to him a week before and had been contracted and paid for 6 hours of reception music (4:30pm-10:30pm) through Moving Music, however Moving Music told Danny that the reception ended at 10pm which was incorrect. During our final call, Danny mentioned that Moving Music told him the event ended at 10pm and I quickly told him that was incorrect and that we were contracted until 10:30pm. I sent him screenshot of the current contract saying 10:30pm and he then agreed to 10:30pm, but also suggested reaching out to Moving Music to let them know of the error. I emailed and called Dan at Moving Music to correct the error and never heard back from them, but figured it was fine since our current contract/portal said 10:30pm and I had sent it to Danny Dobson so that he had proof.At the reception, Danny played our last song at 10pm and I (the bride) had to be the one to tell him again that we are contracted until 10:30pm. Guests were very confused and I was frustrated & disappointed that I did not get to actually enjoy the last song that we had requested, especially after sending him our contract two days before and it not being honored.On our final call we had mentioned that we wanted to invite guests onto to the dance floor halfway through the Mother/Son dance and Danny had agreed that he would announce this. During the mother/son dance, the groom gave a nod to Danny for this reason and Danny had ended the song instead of inviting guests up.Some of the important music did not start on time including the recessional and introductions. I hadn’t really noticed it on the day of, but watching videos back it was frustrating that our DJ was not paying attention to cue the music when needed. Many family members and guests mentioned that he was constantly on his phone throughout the event.Overall, Danny was very nice and very personable to talk to and followed a lot of our requests and truly played great music throughout the event. Guests really raved about the music selection and Danny had an amazing playlist. During cocktail hour we had requested upbeat swing music and he really delivered! All of the dancing music was really fun and he also played a lot of ABBA & Mamma Mia (Im a big fan and requested it prior). He was also easily accommodating to the set up and layout of the event and overall a great guy to work with, however these were a few things that did stick out to us.

2021-08-16We hired MM for a photo booth during our wedding 8/14/21. They arrived during the ceremony without interrupting anything, they set up the booth and immediately got started. It was one of the best decisions ever, everyone loved all the props they supplied and the 2 young male attendants were amazing! Throughout everything they were great with communication and their website was super user friendly! I would 10/10 recommend them to anyone considering them!! My favorite part was the book they created from everyone’s photos throughout the night!! Also they even let me stay in a couple moments after closing to make sure I got all the good pics lol
