The building has tons of history, and on the second floor you have gobs of airy space overlooking the Hudson. Their beers are many and youll find a few hits in there. Try one of the sours for a rotating treat.Big on Covid safety and protection between patrons. Youll feel safe here.
Overdelivered! I did not expect much but all the food that was ordered in my group was very appetizing. I had the House Mac & Cheese and added pulled pork and bacon. It was baked in a ceramic bowl and was absolutely delicious! The street was dirty with litter and trash and could be cleaned up a lot. Parking was up the street and free. The interior was spotless and very inviting. I will be going back.
Great beer and spot to stop in for a drink. Bar food is available but the beer is much better. They have a few games in the back but a large picnic bench style seating. Order at the bar and sit and relax. No flights of beer but free tastings are available. Second floor of a warehouse so the views of the Hudson and mountains are great. Kid friendly but I think they would get board after awhile.
Awesome fun place! We first visited Newburgh Brewing Company 5 years ago when sightseeing from Arizona and loved it! We came back to New York again and had to make it a stop on our list. Great beers to taste and excellent home made foods to eat! The rosemary garlic fries are a must! And the Buffalo Chicken Fingers are the bomb!
This brewery is great. There is a nice selection of beers, to include IPA, but also some great sours. We didnt have any food on this visit, but have heard great things. The bar area itself has a lot of character, as the room looks to be conservatively restored, with lots of aged and exposed brick and wood. There was little evidence of additional insulation and it was cold when we visited; most patrons kept their coats on. Absolutely work a visit, especially if you like restored and reclaimed spaces.
This brewery puts out great beers. The Taproom is great. It is a large bier garden style taproom. Great space to hang out had have a beer with great view of the Hudson River, one of the longest sufffle boards any where, corn hole, board games, and vintage arcade cabinets. Good place for a family to spend an afternoon. To go with the great beer there great food. Try the rosemary garlic fries.
We just had a wedding reception at the Brewery on a Monday night. We were very pleased with how clean everything was, and especially how helpful the staff were. A BIG thank you to Michelle and Diego- They helped set up, bus tables, clean up, etc. Overall, very chill and a great experience! Some useful things that helped us out-1. They have a walking fridge to accommodate wedding cakes, 2. tables are movable. 3. Cash bar available as well as preordered items from the menu. Not just limited to beer 4. Elevator access 5.On site parking available. For anyone having to decorate, the interior has great bones-exposed beams and bricks, multiple gothic chandeliers, 14 8ftx4ft rectangular tables with benches, tables for food and a bar height table for desserts. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking of having an event.
Excellent bartender who helped me find a drink that I liked (Not a beer drinker, wasnt a fan of the 2 ciders on tap, was very surprised to get a chance to taste a beer that I liked). Food was served very fast. Food was kind of bland but well made with good ingredients. Will likely return. [Burger with rosemary fries / Fish tacos]
Extremely on point taproom. Amazing views of the Hudson River. Food is carefully crafted. Oh yeah, they also have some great beers on tap. I enjoyed a true-to-style Hefeweizen in late September.Cornhole, shuffleboard, and foosball round out a great experience for all.
Ive always been a mail order buyer. Finally had the chance to experience the atmosphere. Beer was great, food was ok. It was Very loud and long waits for everything. Im sure it wouldve been better if the place wasnt overrun by a winning football team. The staff was as accommodating as they could be but you could see they were overwhelmed.
Shoutout to Diego!! Awesome personality who came out from the pickup window to our car to take our order. He went above and beyond to find a specific beer we were looking for that was labeled as “sold out” on their website. The Litmus Test sour was a great choice! We will definitely come back to visit their taproom when the world is back to normal.
Very fun environment and a great place to grab a drink. If I were rating on the beer alone, it would be a five star for sure! We’ve tried the food a few times and it has ranged from okay (pretzels) to inedible (chocolate empanada). Now that you don’t have to order a meal with a drink purchase, we’re looking forward to going back and just enjoying the great beer.
Tried 4 drinks. Nothing stood out strongly with wow factor. They were just all okay. The beer hall was really nice and spaced out even though we had to sit at a barrel, which I find to be awkward sitting at because you cant put your legs under it like a normal table and the height isnt normal as a table. The food was good and fairly priced.
Diego provided excellent service. We enjoyed every minute there. It was just what these two parents on Vacation with their 4 year old needed. Beers were tasty and and the food flavorful. My favorite was the shrimp empanadas and the industrialboss pineapple DIPA. Thanks for a fantastic experience.
Excellent Beers. The Coffee Sour was a strange unique gem. The cherry Milk Stout was delicious. The barrel aged imperial stout was also very solid.Tbe service was stellar and the procedures amid Covid were thoughtful and sensible.Lastly the chicken tenders and fries were great too. Thanks for force feeding us Cuomo (joking). We never would have known the food was so good.
Great tap room. Old restored brick building with great wooden rafters overlooking the the Hudson River. Tried two beers (Belgian tripel and a brown ale) and both were excellent. They serve snacks, which is less common than it should be, and is very much appreciated. We had their fries, which were outstanding. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Great experience.
We dropped by Newburgh Brewing on a Saturday night for a beer and wound up staying for a couple. The taproom is housed in and refurbished warehouse with exposed brick and vaulted ceilings. A row of windows look out at the Hudson with a drink rail perfectly positioned to enable enjoying the view. They’ve got large wooden community tables for seating and both board and lawn games for entertainment. We headed to the bar for drinks and were slightly disappointed they don’t do flights. However, they do offer a decent variety of brews and a small selection of wine. Highly recommend recommend any of their juicy IPAs and the stout was rich, smooth, and delicious. They have a menu of bar bites available with very basic pub grub. That said, the soft pretzels, both baked and fried and served with mustard and cheese sauce, were so tasty we ordered garlic Parmesan fries. The fries were piping hot, crispy, and loaded with flavor. If you’re in search of good beer, bar food, and a great atmosphere this is the spot!
Right now its better to make a reservation due to Covid, but they have a comprehensive system in place that seems safe and effective. The staff is forever friendly and the beer is consistently great. Newburgh Brewery is always one of my favorite places to visit when I am home in NY.
Their process for covid is nice and logical, we were very comfortable with the process and the business configuration during a difficult time. Their high ceilings provide additional feeling of space and distance. Food was great, and the staff is doing a great job with the restrictions and meeting customer needs.

2022-05-28We were greeted at the door by the nicest woman who took us upstairs and exclained how this unique brewery works. You sit down at a table for table service only. You have a can that you leave either green side up or red side up depending on whether you need service or not.The waiter came right over as soon as we turned the can to green side up... he took our order then came back with our beers seconds later! What a great business! There were children having fun with their families and great music in the backyard. The views were great and my husband and I were able to get a private table overlooking the water.Would definitely come back!

2022-04-23Incredible location with incredible views. The beers are above average. The food was alittle bland which is the reason for 4 stars. Price is reasonable and on point with other breweries. 4.25 actual rating.

2021-12-19Stopped here for a some food and drinks. I will say atmosphere is nice and servers are attentive. The food is tasty and made fresh and not like restaurant chains. Beer is good as well. You will be seated upon arrival. They have beer/food menus available on qr code like most places are doing now. Overall a great visit and definitely will return soon. Thx Newburgh Brewing CO.

2022-04-18Saturday night I was out for dinner and tried Mega Boss IPA for the first time and totally enjoyed it. I wanted to purchase some locally, so I reached out to Newburgh Brewing Company. In a matter of minutes Paul from Newburgh offer to have some dropped off at my house. I am extremely impressed with that kind of customer service, and I just want to say thank you.

2022-03-26Closes at 10pm on Friday night? 9.30 music off, last call for alcohol and food. No real cocktails, all canned or from draft. Beer from cans. Good rosemary garlic fries. Good Caesar salad. Almost every plate has cheese in it. Good or bad but not sure.Beautiful venue though.

2021-12-04Edit 12/3:Got to go back last weekend--our experience was indeed a fluke. Servers couldnt have been nicer, beer and food couldnt have been tastier. Will be back soon.----------------------------------Finally got to try Newburgh last weekend. I love the beer and were always in the area, but had never put 2 and 2 together before then. The beer was fresh and tasty, and the food was top notch. I had the burger (delicious, perfectly cooked), and my wife had the veggie tacos, which she really enjoyed. We also got the street corn salad, a generous serving for $ which was super tasty. But I can only give them two stars because of how slow the service was. It took 20 minutes for our waiter to even take our order, and 45 minutes before we got our drinks. We were sitting outside, and the section was far from full, but all the other tables were having the same issue. When I walked in to use the restroom, I realized the problem--the waiter covering the outdoor seating was also manning the to-go beer kiosk. I hope they figure this issue out soon, because it really detracted from what was otherwise a great experience. Not sure I would chance going for a while though.
