Niagara Falls is amazing!! Was only there for a day but it was completely worth the trip. Definitely have to go on the Maid of the Mist boat tour that takes you right next to the falls. The ticket cost $25.25 per person. The observation deck is closed in the evenings but it’s still so beautiful at sunset.
Pretty cool, high up. Allows you to see 3/4 to 1/2 of the horseshoe falls and the American falls. Pretty windy, but worth the $1.25. Plus you are allowed to use the elevator to get down, then hike to the foot of the fall to hear and feel the true thunder of the falls. You can climb up some stairs to even get closer. Fun!
This is part of your admission to the Maid of the Mist! At only $25 a person, for a once in a lifetime visit, you can’t beat the price! The lines are very long but move at a decent pace. Again this is definitely a bucket list visit. If you make it to the Falls and don’t go, you have missed out!
Get a birds eye view of both the American Falls and the Horseshoe Falls from this tower which extends over the cliff. Unbelievable. You ticket to the Maid of the most includes the admission to this platform. So relax and enjoy the sunset after the cruise and watch the light show after dark.
Great viewpoint to take fantastic photos. The ticket is included with Maid of the mist tour. There is an elevator that takes you up 20 stories up in 16 sec. It gets really windy up there so be careful of the things youre carrying. Having seen both sides, personally i think the US side of NY is much better than the Canadian side.
Excellent birds-eye views of both American Falls and a decent shot of Horseshoe Falls. The price for just the observation deck is very cheap and worth every penny for the view you get if going on the boat for a public shower isnt your desire (though that experience is incredible as well!)
Observation deck entry is part of maid of mist ticket. You can get a better view of rainbow international bridge, horseshoe fall, American falls though it wont be complete but good enough for photographs. This deck gets closed prior to the light illumination on falls in evening so better you plan a spot at prospect point.
Easily one of the best memories of our 5,000 mile summer vacation tour de force. The falls are in Majesty unto themselves and the meeting of the excursion was well worth the price. Mother nature is parsley revealed and her beauty and power. Especially good for families.
I love this beautiful place. Im lucky i dont live too far away from. Dont realize how i take this mother earths beauty for granted. Not only got to see the falls. But, also had a band with people having fun dancing games for kids food trucksAmazing atmosphere. The sunset was absolutely beautiful🌞
A great observation spot to admire the Niagara Falls, the Rainbow Bridge, the Niagara River, Niagara Falls New York and Niagara Falls Ontario. The Observation Tower is 86 meters high (282 ft). It gives you access to the maid of the Mist by using the elevators. This is an amazing spot which is worth to reach to take awesome pictures. It is part of the Niagara Falls State Park from the US. The fee for the observation tower is $1.25 but if you got tickets for the Maid of the Mist, the observation tower has no extra cost. During winter there is no fee to pay since there is no service for the Maid of the Mist. It was constructed with aluminum, glass, and steel. This observation tower was built in the Fall of 1958. The main idea to build it was to observe the American Falls at ground level and to give access to the river level, The Observation Tower was designed as an observation deck and it was accessible from the mainland. Great place, if you are over there give it a chance to be part of your eternal memories. Once you visit it,, this tower will be a magnet to go back again. ;)
We went to the observation tower after maid of the mist. It was absolutely beautiful. We had such a fun time and cannot wait to come back again. Make sure you utilize everything they offer, to get you as close as you can to the falls as well as the best view possible.
This is part of maid of the mist tour.Do not miss this if u are visiting niagara fall, the view of the fall is awesome from the boat and they will take you till bottom of the fall. After boat tour you can go to near to fall by staircase in case you interested or else go to top view deck by elevator and the top view is also awesome.Parking is bit a problem but you can check below my experience that may help you.Timing - 9 to 7:30💲- 25 for adults and 15 for kids, below 5 years are free.Parking- main visitor parking lot 1 near Niagara, 10$ for parking . Most of the time parking will be full so you can check nearby paid parking options. E went on Monday at 11 am but still parking was full. if you dont get parking then dont get panicked, just wait and you will get it in some time.
You definitely cant go wrong visiting the observation tower! Getting through the line to get our tickets were a breeze. The views were fantastic! I just wish they emptied the recycling bins more often. It was just a little unsightly but the norm with the number a visitors they get I wasnt too surprised. Totally worth it and the staff was friendly!
Niagara Falls at Night is the best…I visited from US side and looked into the city skyline of Canada.❤️❤️And the feeling was awesome. Also I got to see the speedy river that falls down as Niagara. The colour lights placed in Niagara made is more beautiful. The best part is walking along the river with the beautiful sounds of flowing river and falls and adoring the city other side via Niagara Falls. The parks pathways are well lit during nights.Parking is available and there are many shops near by. Especially there is a Hard Rock Cafe , bars and Indian cuisine too.
A tower overlooking the gorge and falls which gives you a good look at the water falling over the edge. At sunset, the light brilliantly reflects off the water, highlighting it in a memorable way. If you go do the Maid of the Mist tour, you can walk up to the tower afterwards and spend time watching the water.
Truly spectacular views but all concessions closed (cosntruction of a new building neednt shut the old one). Best viewing spot of the Falls on Goat Island also closed due to light amount of snow which was disappointing. Nonetheless, great views in many other locations. Parking was free due to lack of attendant. Good value for the $0.00 money spent but mismanaged by the park service and/or the private concession company. Pleasantly surprised that the restrooms were open!!
The view is good however the line was really long and they had the line for maid of the mist and the observation deck combined so it was even longer than it should have been, if they opened the line up past the stairs and it wouldnt have taken as long, it costs $1.25 for entrance
The view 🥰🥰🥰I could’ve stayed there and watch the view for days. The breeze coming from falls is super. You definitely can take a lot of great pictures. The view of American Falls and Niagara Falls is unique and perfect.Stay as much as you can and enjoy.Highly recommended.
Stunning location and a must see for anyone. The observation deck has far stretching views over Niagara and the falls. Conveniently has an elevator which drops down the 200feet to the boats and water level.Collect your poncho downstairs after the elevator.Try head down on a week day to avoid the queues and congestion. There is paid parking back at the visitors center which also has free restrooms.
This viewing tower gives a fabulous view of the falls, though you see more of the American Falls than the Horseshoe Falls. There is normally a $1.25 cover charge to enter the viewing deck, but when we got there we were told there was no charge.A must-do if you are in the area.
This was an excellent vantage point for the falls. The view from this point was well worth the price. It was neat to see the falls crashing down on the rocks and draining into the river. You get a clear picture of the the the beautiful green colors as well. Definatly worth the stop.
Always beautiful, especially in the evening! Only complaint I have; is there is NO security guards!!!! cameras were in some places and I did see one emergency stand/call button... but on our walk back to the car some creep was acting sketchy and as we kept walking, I turned back to see where he was, he was flashing a flashlight at us! Super creepy. Thankfully we got out safe.
Amazing views of the most famous body of falling water in the world. You have to go up the observation deck to fully appreciate this awesome beauty and see both the US and Canada side at once. Some parts of the park are being renovated and are off limits. Also enjoyed the friendly squirrels bounding around the park, and will actually climb up your leg in an effort to scrounge food from you (not advisable).
A great vantage point to see the falls from. Only provides a partial view of the Canadian falls though, but the best that you can get while on the American side of the falls. It doubles as an access route to the lifts for the maid of the mist. Be sure to look at the rainbow bridge from the observation deck. We saw double rainbows.PS, expect crowds at all times. Also, make sure you visit it once as the sun is setting. The setting sun creates a lovely Color on the mist pushed up by the Canadian falls. Its also a great point to see the point where the rescue took place from (see the Imax movie to find out more)
This is beautiful. Great view of canada side as well as falls. One can spend 5-10 mins here and get great pictures. Can be accessed after you finish the maid of mist tour. Atleast access is designed that way. Not sure if can be accessed without maid of mist ticket. Overall will totally recommend.
The tower was closed to anyone not using the elevator for the Maid of the Mist boat tour. We couldn’t even walk out on the regular part unless we bought a ticket to the boat tour and waited 2-3 hours in a very long line. Next time were doing the tour, during the week, off season. Looks like a lot of fun.
The area of the tower and Prospect Point was once known as the High Bank Industrial/Mill District, and hosted industrial use of the area from the 1870s to 1940s.[3]The tower was originally built in 1961[1] and extensively refurbished between 2001 and 2003.[4] Improvements included a pre-cast concrete plank observation deck, an ornamental stainless steel deck railing system, improved high-speed elevators, new rest rooms, and a gift shop.[4]The tower, constructed of aluminum, glass, and steel, stands at 282 feet (86 m)[2] with the base at the bottom of the gorge. Visitors enter the tower at the ground level from Niagara Falls State Park.[1] It sees eight million visitors annually. The Maid of the Mist loads at the base of the tower.
When you visit the park you have to see the view from the observation tower. During the day you can go up to the tower when you take the Maid of the Mists not ride. However if you go after 7:30-8pm you can just go up on your own to see the beautiful falls at night. Don’t miss out!
The Niagara Falls Observation Tower is a MUST! It is included when you purchase a Maid of the Mist boat tour, and I recommend going on the observation deck before going on the boat. The view is amazing! You can see American Flags, Horseshoe Falls, the Rainbow Bridge, Canada and the United States. It does get crowded, so finding a spit on the rail might be difficult, but one will free up with time. Take a lot of great pictures here during the day and at night! They have a light show that starts at 9pm! Overall, this is a MUST see and worth every second!
Amazing views from this place is a treat for eyes. Get to see the famous Rainbow bridge on one side and both the Niagara Falls on the other side. There are good quality benches to sit on and watch the nature’s miracle. The elevators going downstairs the observation tower go directly to maid of the mist and a walkway near the American falls. This place is awesome. Have been here twice till now.
Wonderful view and lots of places to take pictures. Lots of people visiting the falls which is nice to see people out and about. Supposedly the view is better from the Canadian side but if you arent vaccinated, dont have a negative covid test done, or done the online application to enter, you wont be admitted into the country. Slightly disappointing.
Not only worth the drive, but worth the extra hour of just sitting and enjoying the ambiance and majesty of this place. You will be asked to help others take pictures, its part of the adventure. Be sure to do the maid of the mist boat tour for an extra view and to see the full magnitude of the falls.
Absolutely the most stunning view here! This is by far the best 1.25 you can spend in your life!Niagara falls is what started the national parks registry. It begun here.Come here and visit!! You wont regret it!Its free to come, just have to pay for parking. But after 6pm you can park for free.
Its free to go on the tower to get a view of the Horseshoe falls. Also where you board for the Maid of the Mist and go down to the Gorge attraction. The tower though architecturally bland against the Olmstead designed park. It simply looks like a broken bridge that ran out of money to complete. Hopefully NY State can make improvements to let it blend in better with the rest of the park and improve access.
I came here for Night View and Fireworks. Fireworks start at 10Pm EST and for only 5 minutes. It was great experience and the color changes is awesome. I have travelled almost 5 hours from Scranton to see this and this is incredibly beautiful place. The bridge gives you nice view of Rainbow international bridge and the falls with soothing fresh cool air. you can see all falls and take nice pictures. Sometimes there will be more people and you will not get space to take any pictures but it worth to wait for a while to get the photo opportunity. This is my 5th time to Niagara falls and I never missed this opportunity.
One of, if not, the best point to stand and admire the US side of the Niagra falls. The horse shoe falls (half) is visible at the distance. The colorful lighting at night and the fireworks is splendid from this site.Great site for long exposure photography of the falls.
Really beautiful but pricey. Great spot for photos. I still love the standard, free viewing area above the falls just as much. American falls are breathtaking but Looking forward to the Canadian side opening back up so you can really take in horseshoe falls even better.

2022-05-09I’ve always wanted to go here and it didn’t disappoint. As someone coming from the NYC area, traffic through Buffalo to Niagara was non existent. The town itself on the American side was nothing special and the Canadian side visually looks prettier and seems to have more attractions, but thanks to covid, going over the border was a no go. Definitely beautiful and a tick off the by her list.

2022-05-30What a beautiful and natural place to be in with the one you love the most! We were in US side of the fall and it looked amazing and then we passed the border and we had a look from the Canadian side as well. Both looks good and have some great views and attractions

2022-06-09Great park! Easy drive but a lot of traffic. We estourou the parking lot 1 opened. The main Accra film is the Maid of the Mist, be ready to stand in line for at least one hour, if you are going on a weekend. It doesn’t matter if you have a online ticket you still need to stay in line, boat comes and go every 20 minutes I would say. When the tour is done you can climb a stairs to stay close to the US fall. The park is amazing too, you can see the waterfall from top. There’s music, plays, be ready to bring your own food, but you can find beverages if you are willing to pay more for it!

2022-03-10Watching the American Falls and Horse Shoe Falls from top of the Observation Tower is beyond words. Excellent Experience. I was able to see the view in Falls and during Winter and both times it was mesmerizing. The fireworks is great and my daughter loved it so much. The place is well maintained. Definitely a must visit place for anyone who loves nature.

2022-06-03Even there were many area that still got much room for improvement (such as courtesy of workers, poor instruction, etc) I should say it is a tour that must go while you are in Niagara falls. Really shock by the great view.

2022-05-26The best waterfalls in the world! It just amazes me by the millions of gallons that Niagara pours down via falls! Lovely place and must visit! Glad I have been to this place twice!

2022-05-29The Canadian side offers way better Falls views than the American. If you cannot cross over to Canada for any reason, the Observation deck has the best views from the American side of both, American and Canadian Falls. At time of our visit in late April access was free, but I think they charge it starting from May.
