I really enjoyed the setup of this place. Suite had 2 rooms and kitchen. TV in every room. Got a deal on hot wire. Parking was close to the room and ice machine was right there as well. I was really happy with the setup and would come back again just to stay there and hangout. Its close to the mall. Convenient location. I would like to have more trash cans and a comforter in the room but I had 2 rooms and a sofa so I cant complain. Very happy w the place
For quite a few weeks I had tried to book a suite at your establishment as it is exactly what I need at this time. I was always unsuccessful due to un-availability. On the verge of giving up entirely, realizing you are simply extremely busy, I made one last attempt. It was Wednesday, September 15th when I called and was greeted with a friendly voice that seemed more than happy to help. After explaining my situation and a few moments on hold, she said the words I have been waiting to hear for several weeks, Yes! We absolutely have availability and I can get you in this evening if you would like. I was thrilled! She was even able to take care of our information, details AND payment right then and there which was a HUGE help to my husband and I. It was raining that night and this kind and considerate woman did not want us to have to take our 4 year old son in and out of the car in the pouring rain This way we were able to grab our key and head to our room faster. We arrived shortly thereafter. This time not only was I welcomed with that same friendly voice but a beautiful smile to match that was eager to explain not only the rules and guidelines but also answer any questions or concerns I had. It was then I learned her name was Celashia. Now, I have stayed at countless numbers of hotels, motels and beb&breakfasts, etc. Throughout my entire life and I have come to notice that customer service is THE MOST IMPORTANT aspect in ANY business of ANY kind. These people are the face of your company, they represent you. Therefore, how they do so plays a great part in defining your company. I would like you to know that Celashia is an amazing representation for Pinebush Suites and I cannot begin to express how lucky you truly are to have her be a part of the Pinebush family. It is my feeling that when you have impressive, stand out employees, such as Celashia they should be recognized and rewarded. This employees efforts and skills are exemplary, as well as their job ethics and outstanding commitment and should not go unnoticed! It is because of employees like Celashia that you have a thriving business with a terrific reputation!
It’s not the customer service it’s the cleanliness of the rooms and overall appearance and lack of concern when it comes to the rooms, you’ll take peopleMoney but don’t ensure there safety or make sure the room there booking is up to par, there are a lot of creepy people around the 2 buildings, i feel as if the building/owner disregards the fact there are junkies on premises and the junkies don’t care where they do their dirt as they do it on the outside patio while barely standing up that’s a concern as needles are being found and kids run around that same patio something has to give when it comes to the safety of your guest
I was here during the COVID-19 pandemic with my wife and toddler, we came from Buffalo for a 3-month stay at one of the suites due to work. We called them 5 days ahead to see if we can get a suite for 3 months, and they were quick about it. Its no joke, the services here were impeccable. However, the first day, things were a bit rocky due to some problem with stink bugs and because I arrived so late at night and wasnt aware of their elevator/trolley since I was in the 3rd floor; so if I was to rate it on my first-day experience I would have given this place a 3 star. But because the staff was so friendly to us, addressed all of our initial concerns, added accommodations with new vending machines, brought in new washing/dryer machines, and giving us in-room services, it made our time in Albany extremely enjoyable. Plus the great location was just an extra bonus since we loved walking around the gorgeous campus that is right across the street.Id recommend this place to anyone looking for a lengthy stay, and would definitely come back again if I find myself back in Albany.
Best hotel ive ever stayed at! Its a well laid out hotel for low prices. If you have a long stay, the manager will work with you on a discount. My apartment flooded and i needed to stay for over a month and my rate was deeply discounted. The rooms have efficiency kitchens stocked with an efficiency fridge and a dishwasher. They have studios, one and two bedroom units. And the staff is unbelievable!!
I stayed here for 2 weeks, my stay was meant to be much longer (like a month or so) but, the wifi was terrible. I mean, Im not a picky type of guy, but this was unbareable. I could not get a a single video to load. I came here for a job that I was interviewed for, and couldnt watch any of the educational videos that had been sent to me. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
I put one star but this place should have 0 stars. The place is disgusting. To sit on the couch we had to get a sheet brought from home. The sheets on the beds were disgusting! The drawers were nasty. Bathroom dirty. The hallway and stairs are disgusting. There was Sheetrock debris in front of our door when we arrived Sunday night. We left Thursday and it was still there. I honestly never saw housekeeping. Beds were never made. Toilet seats broken. It’s a complete dump. My friends and I were unsure if this is used as low income housing. The regulars were very sketchy and just made you want to run from car to room and not go out in night.
Had to wait 10 minutes to check in because no one as at the front desk. I called three different numbers. The main number to the hotel, the number of the general manager, and a third one that was on the business cards there. No one answered. The complimentary breakfast was basically nothing.
Best long term location Ive stayed at by far and I stayed at quite a few different places around the country.... Very friendly staff which I would say they treat each other & quests as if they are your family & will go out of the way to make quests feel at home and comfortable
They are a complete ripe of do not go. I went there at 7 and they had no one to check me in. And they are not giving me a refund even through there was no way to check in. I waited 3 hours for them to pick up the phone. They have horrible communication and are thief’s

2022-01-17Do NOT stay here! We paid over 1k for one week in their two bedroom apartments only to find black mold in all three of the ac/heat units. The sink leaked horribly onto the floor anytime you turned it on. Absolutely ZERO hot water for showers. Thermostats in each room do not work. No employees to be found when needed. Arrived to no trash bags or toilet paper in our room on top of it being disgusting. There are lots of long term residents that blare music and have shouting matches all hours of the night. This place is atrocious and we shouldve just set our money on fire rather than spend it here. Such a shame.

2022-03-18They have a very pleasant staff and the on-site amenities are nice. There was a small gym, flavored coffee available for free in the lobby and the laundry facility on site was modern, linked to a payment app that was easily downloaded onto my phone.

2022-05-02It was not a pleasant experience. There was not front desk service. The room had a strong smell of cigarettes smoking. The room and the bathroom was not properly cleaned and toilet paper was not provided.

2021-07-06I have to say, this was the BEST stay Ive had in Albany! Actually, best stay just about anywhere Ive been! You just cant go wrong with staying at Pine Bush Suites! The staff is the BEST and I cant find anything to complain about. Everything was perfect! I felt like I was in an apartment, not a hotel and was super comfortable, and felt safe! Great SAFE area and quiet! I slept sooooo good after driving 1700 miles (from South Florida). There is everything you can think of nearby and easy access to the highway for travel. Super clean and I still cant get over how cool the laundry room is! Ive never used a washer and dryer via Bluetooth! The welcome kit was awesome and if you need anything, just ask and they will do their best to provide! You just cant go wrong here...if you are in Albany...STAY HERE! :)

2021-08-01I stayed here 2/8-5/1/2021. Checked in (Room 222) for a 3 month stay (*for work in the travel nursing industry) on a Sunday there was a woman with an adorable quite baby in her arms that came to the door to let me in the lobby. It was clean and plenty of signs up about the hotel and covid-19 interruptions. Check in process was quick, she didnt talk much, got 1 key and went to my building across the parking lot. The entry was unlocked (there is a key card panel by the door handle as if it was supposed to be locked) and dirty. I got to my floor by using the stairs even though there is an elevator, once I got to my floor I immediately smelled cigarettes to my left which I am allergic to. Found my room with door not pulled shut all the way. The room itself was well below my expectations, it was not clean, burnt food on the stove and back splash, not vacuumed, swept or mopped. There was no dish set, no blanket on the bed or additional bedding for the pull out couch, strange black dirty substance over all walls, no shower curtain liner, bed linens were dirty and only 1 full towel set. I called the office on Tuesday (*being as that my first day of work was all day Monday and they were closed before 6PM) to switch rooms due to all the reasons listed prior I spoke with a gentleman that was highly disrespectful, unprofessional and very rude he informed me that he inspected the room himself and it was fine. Obviously my expectations of hospitality and cleanliness are very different then the gentleman I spoke with. This staff member said the WHOLE state of New York does not have housekeeping which is strange cause I stayed at 2 other New York state hotel days (one of which was 2 doors down) prior to arriving here. He said I can come down to the front desk to get cleaning supplies after working a full 12 hour day. I took $40 of my own money and went to buy adequate cleaning products and it took me a week to clean it enough to be comfortable for the remainder of my stay. While other hotels are going above and beyond to make customers feel comfortable and safe during this pandemic Pine Bush has gone backward. I would not recommend this ghetto apartment complex to anyone.

2021-07-19The stay was decent until it just wasn’t. We found a mouse in our room and they did NOTHING to help us. They continued to give us different answers when we called saying they were waiting for maintenance to get there then the manager to get there and then suddenly neither were coming in that day. They then stated they would get us a room at the Fairfield next door so we didn’t havent to stay in our room but when we go next door they say they were never called and they have no rooms available for us. The front desk here closes at 4pm so we have absolutely NOBODY to contact and are stuck staying in this room or paying for an entirely different hotel! This is absolutely ridiculous and poor management, don’t even waste your money
