Theres been ONLY 1 person in front of me in the drive through and Ive sat here for over 20 minutes ... Worst drive through experience ever. DONT BUY HERE IF YOURE IN A HURRY!!!!
My family and I stop by here at least once a month. While passing through. Staff is ALWAYS friendly and efficient. Last night we witnessed staff and management handle a situation with poise, respect, and even tempers. A customer came in and proceeded to demand a refund after her the family literally ate +95% of the meal. The customer was just trying to get a free meal and was being rude, disrespectful, and all around very unpleasant. I have worked in the food service industry, if a customer would have been that belligerent to me or my staff. I too would have refunded their meal then invited the to call the franchisor owner and file a complaint with because I would never let them back into my restaurant again.
If I could give -10 stars I would. Terrible experience, worst ever. Food was cold and disgusting, couldnt eat it. Popcorn shrimp my grandson had were mostly breading with no shrimp and cold. Had no napkins, only soda available was coke. Never go back to the Horseheads NY location store #12414
This place has really gone down hill since when it opened they have no service Strategy except for make them wait forever and then dont give them the right order ... This has been the case the last 4 times Ive been there and it really is disappointing because there food is good and when they get my order right it is a pleasant dining experience ... overall this place definitely deserves a 3 star rating and thats being very generous
Came here after a movie. It was about 10 ish. The lady working the drive thru was very nice. However when we got to the window. They were out if the side dishes and asked if we wanted extra chicken... we had ordered chicken tenders and chicken wings. My gf was hungry so i askedfor extra wings then.... we got. No wings... not even the original ons there was supposed to be... it was regular fried chicken. And then my tenders... plus a giant box of fries which we never ordered any of. We paid 33 dollars for 90 percent of an order we didnt ask for. Cmon guys.
Wall ordering I was told it was going to be 8 minutes for a chicken sandwich sitting out a problem at time. Went through the line paid for my food was told to pull up it would be another 3 minutes at that point it already been 11 minutes Im like all right not a big deal maybe they still have to make it. After I go through the line I pull up past the second window where I still havent received any food I end up sitting for an additional 12 minutes for a chicken sandwich had I known it was going to take my entire lunch in order to get food here I wouldnt have gone ridiculous.

Just ordered from here. My boyfriend specifically asked if they put the sauces in our meals and they said yes. The shrimp had no cocktail sauce and none of the chicken had ranch. The mac and cheese we got looked awful. Highly disappointed.

The food they DID have was fantastic tasting...and the french fries are *chefs kiss*...however, choices were VERY limited as everything was out of stock .....we went at 12noon.Also found it very frustrating that in order to get the Megan stallion hottie chicken sandwich, you HAVE to order a side....you cant just get the sandwich.Overall, Id go again, but call ahead to make sure they have what I wanted before I waited 17 minutes in line.
It would be nice to get an actual full size side dish and not just 1/2 a scoop of Mac n cheese.
The chicken sandwich is good but everything else is bad. Waited 40 minutes for our food, the soda machine was broken, lobby was out of napkins and straws and the fudge pie is as wide as a common ketchup packet.
Food was good. Warm chicken, well cooked. Warm, soft biscuit. Creamy macaroni and cheese.Went through drive thru. Did not receive any napkins or utensils to eat our side dishes with. When hubby went in to get them he was told, oh were running short. So, what do you do just give to every other or every third car? DUH‼️
Waited 15 m in drive thru to have to run in the store bc they forgot my dipping sauce. Food was good thou. No Fanta like menu board advertised and theres a note on menu board saying no chicken sandwiches currently they apparently know about, but havent removed.....
I would honestly give a zero if I could. Cant ever get waited on inside, even with no one in line, they move slower than a garden snail. Half the time they dont have what you want. The food isnt hot or its just nasty. Save yourself time and a headache, eat somewhere else.

I apologize for anybody who genuinely likes this restaurant, I wont judge you. But in my opinion if I wanted to eat food that is the same color are almost the same flavor, I would eat a chocolate cake. The customer service was awful and the food was very bland, and disgusting looking.

Ive always told people the chicken sandwich was by far the best. However I went to Big Flats Popeyes and my sandwich was pre-made. It was dry and gross, I believe McDonalds would have been better and I dont eat at McDonalds.
We have been missing items the last few visits. Either a side isnt there and we have never gotten a straw, silverware(for mashed potatoes), or any of our dipping sauces.Itd only been the past few months.. never had a problem prior!
Ordered dinner for me and the roommate. Oh ya and can’t forget had to get the the puppy’s something also. They love there Popeyes 🥰 always great service and excellent food. It’s a little pricy but it’s just so dam good! 👍🏼🤟🏼
Love their spicy fried chicken! It is cooked just right, the fried chicken is non greasy at all. The oil is changed regularly and the chicken is nice and golden.

I just went to order a classic chicken sandwich meal deal and a classic chicken sandwich with a large ice water. I was charged $3.99 for my sandwich, and $8.49 for the deal. Here’s the kicker, I was charged $2.99 for water plus .23 for tax on the water. Are you kidding me???? $3.22 for water that other restaurants give for free? I went back assuming there was a mistake made but nope…. When a large ice water is ordered they have to charge for a large soda!!!!! REALLY????? I tried to call the number provided to tell them how they did, but the number isn’t working.No more Popeye’s for me!!!! Nope!!! No thank you!!!
Last trip to this location of Popeyes we were met with some very rude staff. First tip was the lady that had ordered ahead of us was met with some rude comments when she asked how much longer her son’s sandwich was going to take (apparently around 20 minutes for one sandwich) then when we stepped up to order we asked about ingredients due to allergies and diets and was met with ridicule and overall rudeness. We will not be dining at this location again.
This place is number 3 on my list of restaurants to eat at best chicken around even better then KFC.... sorry but its true aside from eating here as a customer I also currently work here and it is by far the best employment Ive ever had the management doesnt complain find fault in anybody and is quick to respect any issues they treat the employees ne or veterans like your their best friend and as time goes on they become exactly that it doesnt matter if you make a mistake they teach you how to not make the same mistake again if your jobless i strongly encourage you to apply here Ive oy been here about 2 weeks and I hate the time of day where its time to clock out
1st visit and I wont be back. Chicken tenders we in tiny pieces and way overcooked. I even had a piece of wire, maybe a twist tie, baked into one of the chicken pieces.

Just tried to order through the drive through. Seen a girl working inside dump chicken into a box and then push it down with ungloved hands. She was just at the cash register before that. When I said something to her about it her response was that wasnt your chicken. She was rude and didnt see the problem with what she did. Ruined the entire restaurant for me, I decided to go to kfc.
LOVED the food, once I had to wait a really long time for fresh chicken tenders and they didnt say anything, but the chicken and biscuits are AMAZING.
My wife called the Popeyes restaurant and asked the man who answered if he was offering any specials. He mentioned one, so she asked if there were any others. He (a man with a heavy foreign accent, which might help you identify him) said, No, and immediately hung up! We went there, anyway, and were waited on by the same guy, according to my wife. He was not friendly, at all. The apple pie we got was fine, but the chicken sandwiches were extremely dry and crunchy, as if they had been sitting around, awhile. We were given only one napkin, each, which is not enough! My wife said there were no paper towels and NO TOILET PAPER in the ladies room!
Service was slow, I had to return my chicken sandwich for a redo which took about 10 minutes and they were out of Mac n cheese, ketchup and napkins and it was only 11:30 am.Kinda disappointing
There food is always so good! I have missed them so much when I returned from Florida, so happy that they are growing into the North. Dont waste your money on other lesser chicken places.
Chicken is always crispy and juicy. Great selection of sides. I recommend the red beans and rice.Try the spicy chicken as it was not too hot. (Might be for the young kids under 10)I wish Popeyes would open a store in Ithaca.
Its overpriced and the sides containers are never full or big enough. The service is horrendously slow if you go in their plan on being 20-30 minutes before you get served.last time I was there after spending nearly $50 my kids meals consisted of loose pieces of breading that they were trying to pass off as chicken. My kids were screaming until I went and finally got them enough food.
Food was cold, ordered a slushy strawberry lemonade and it wasnt a slushy at all it was plain juice, they forgot my biscuits so I had to come back and go inside (what I was trying to avoid thats why I went through the drive thru in the first place) one person was working the register, but four people standing around, so now not only was I inconvenienced I am also waiting for the group of workers to realize they had a customer waiting, just poor service, wont be going back

The food, as always, was tasty, hot and fresh. The staff is professional, friendly and greeted me with a smile. The dining area was clean, as well as the restroom. The only complaint I have is how they serve their meals, my 3 pc with fries all came in one basket where a plate or plate and basket, or even two baskets would of been better. But over all, I will return

The chicken tenders were way to crispy. Drive-thru attendants could have more courteous. I understand we are in a hard time. But to have a pleasant attitude you will receive a pleasant attitude back. We are in this crisis together.
Above and beyond customer service, we have a 40ft toy hauler and can’t make it threw the drive threw. So I call and speak with the manager, mind you they are wrapped around the building. But still runs our order out to us 5 stars in my book
I didn’t feel like cook was out shopping and really wanted some chicken food was good customer services not so good I watched them cook it , it’s always good to go in on order just to see how people and places are providing services during Covid. Place Appeared to be clean I placed my order cashier was not knowledgeable menu place she placed my cup and cut tops on the counter rim down I asked for another cup as she couldn’t have realize what she was doin I had to asked for another and explain to her that it’s not sanitary to put cups on touched with the rim of the cup on it I also had to check my back and ask for napkins spoon and sauces
Its prolly mostly bias but I prefer their and the staff are normally friendly and there restaurant is in good condition and clean.
Associate on speaker and at window was very cordial and efficient. Stopped to get 16 pc tenders to take home. Family enjoyed them. They were very good with the sauces provided. Normally have a good experience and good food at this location in Big Flats / Horseheads / Elmira NY.
Its ok, loved the mashed taters. Chicken sandwich is the bomb. However,was on my way to work. Get to work, no napkins or silverware in my bag. No silverware or napkins at work. Happens everytime!!
The only reason this place gets a star is because the food was good and the staff was polite.Bathroom was dirty and had no soap or paper towels and the door was disgusting.Staff members had dirty fingernails.Soda machine touch screen was equally gross.Tables were all dirty with the exception of a couple of them, and there were ants on the floor.The doors on the way out looked like someone had sneezed repeatedly on them.As I said, friendly staff, food is good, but the lack of cleanliness is appalling.
Food was fair. Had to wait 15 min for food that we ordered to go. We got our food before people who were there before us. Place looked clean from what I saw. Only complaints are that they were slow and over priced. I know people who absolutely love Popeyes. I dont get it.
Charlean is by far one of my favorite workers. She’s been there ever since it even open and she always makes sure my food is just how i like it. She greets you with kindness and always make you want to come back. They need more workers like her.
Great fast food! Biscuits are superior to the ones from KFC. I usually throw theirs away. Popeyes biscuits were crispy and flaky on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Perfect with the strawberry jelly. I also love the drink selection machine that gives you a hundred choices. My husband and I enjoy the Minute Made flavored lemonades. The chicken was moist and the spicy recipe was tasty. I was able to substitute white meat in the piece combo.
I have eaten here many times and loved it until tonight. I had my first experience with the manager instead of the lovely upbeat gentlemen that usually is working. The manager/owner had horrible customer service skills. No conversation no thanks for coming, nothing! Then he informed me after giving me a drink full of mostly ice and shorting me sauce that I would need to run my card again for the extra sauce. Um no, you may not run my card for less than a dollar because youre being rude cheap! You have lost a regular customer!
There were crumbs on almost every table inside. When the staff was notified, they did have someone clean them. The chicken was crispy and had flavor. Their sweet tea was the right amount of sweet. I would not go there again.
Went there today 5/17 and my order couldnt have been more screwed up. They read my order back twice correctly so I figured it was ok. But then when I got home, I realized I was missing $12 worth of food on a $40 order.Edit: Today is 6/11 and still havent heard back, this place still owes me $12.
This is one of my favorite fast food places to go to! First time I had it was down in Virginia. So was glad when this one was built. Im always sceptical with newly built restaurants(especially in this area), but it did not disappoint! There is no comparison when it comes top Popeyes and other chicken joints! Love to swing by when in up they way and grab some amazing chicken.
Tia is one of the best workers at popeyes. She is always kind, happy, and courteous when my family and I go there to eat. I can always count on her to have my order complete and correct. This establishment is better because of her and a few others that work there. She is by far my favorite person that works there and I enjoy seeing her when I go there.
Love Popeyes food. Was however a bit disappointed with the service tonight as the sign only says open until 10 pm and does not specify dine in closes at 9. The person took our order pushing hard for us to take the order to go. Then was talking to someone on her headset inappropriately for a work setting as we and another customer waited for our food. Better signage as well as better manners in employees goes a long way.
It was ok. The corn on the cob had good flavor. The biscuits were really good. The chicken could have used a little more flavor if I get it again I will get the next flavor. Service was great and quick
We just ate here for the first time! It was a great experience. Tyree gave us excellent customer service and was knowledgeable of menu items. She was patient and helpful while I made my decision. The establishment was clean and well cared for, and we are looking forward to our next vist!

Whats wrong with you refusing to give out Dipping Sauces?! I paid over $50 for a large family tenders meal and a shrimp basket, I even paid extra for multiple of honey mustard and multiple of the pepper jelly sauce. Once I got home I found no pepper jelly and only 1 honey mustard. Didnt even ask for Tartar sauce but that was in there yet the other sauces I wanted only had 1 of each. When Im ordering for a large family, in what family do fat people only use 1 sauce? You earned this 1 star review, fix your dipping sauce mentality and Ill improve this review.

At this specific Popeyes, the food is mediocre. Also, the owner is dishonest. On my last trip, I went through the drive-thru, and the owner said, Dessert in there, free for you, to which I was surprised and expressed gratitude. When I arrived home, I noticed that there was only one biscuit, not two. I felt cheated because the biscuits are the best thing there! Also, the owner shouldve asked if he could sub a dessert for a biscuit, not just acted as if he was benevolently bestowing a free dessert. Felt dishonest, and I dont think Ill go back.

The chicken was very tasty but we ordered regular size sides of green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy. The green beans were very small ... but the mashed potatoes were ridiculously small it looked like they did not even fill the tiny cup half way.They were so small that I asked if it was a mistake and they just said no that is the size.Rather disingenuous to display a cup for a side item and then serve it half full.I took a picture and would like to post it.
Staff was friendly. Location clean. Food is nothing special. The marketing is better than the food lol. Not saying it is bad just typical fast food fare. Chicken tasted like any other fast food or bar food place. Wasnt like mama makes but its a safe bet if you want to fill the belly without risking an in unknown restaurant.
This is the first time we have eaten at Popeyes. And the last. The restaurant is quite nice and the service was standard for fast food, the food was hot, the place was quite clean. But the food was pretty bad. The biscuits were hard, the corn on the cob was somewhat beat up and not very tasty, the coleslaw tasted off. (I imagine it was the recipe rather than the actual quality.) The menu is nearly identical to KFC. Just go to KFC.
Horrible I paid for a number seven the five spicy tenders supposed to come with two sweet heat and I asked for one extra sweet heat cuz twos not enough management tells me its all in the bag I looked theres only one sweet heat and of course its the one I got charged 25 cents for and theres two missing and you got to stand there in line and argue with them youre better off not even getting sauce and just using your own at home cuz theyre going to screw you on the sauces stay away from the one in Elmira
Was kind of disappointed. Went at around 8:15 and was told they didnt have spicy any more because they close in 45 minutes. Asked for ghost pepper wings same story. And was told that would have to wait 20 minutes for the food since they didnt have anything ready.

I have been to this location twice. Our first visit I got the 10 piece chicken with 2 large sides. We got Cajun fries and mashed potatoes with Cajun gravy. Also got a side of coleslaw. The mashed potatoes are delicious, did not care for the coleslaw. Sorry nothing against Popeyes, but I can only eat my moms. Boyfriend liked liked the coleslaw. The price was fair for the amount of food that we got. Stopped in again and got the fish and shrimp poppers. The poppers were good, but I took to the fish and biscuits. Made mini fish sandwichs with Tatar sauce. Tried the green beans and they werent bad. Im not a big bacon fan, but they could of used a touch more in the beans. The best part of the meal was the strawberry+cream cheese pie that was deep fried. My boyfriend like it so much he tried taking mine.The lobby was fairly okay. It could of used a cleaning but know what it is like when you get busy and cannot get to it and it is close to closing the lobby. I will return to this location again.
We did a pick up and had ordered a Cajun fish dinner and a 3 piece chicken. There was one TINY piece of fish in the box and a hard, overdone biscuit! Outrageous! There have aWays been at least 3 pieces? You all owe me!
Food was not hot and chicken was dried out and didnt get my complete order. ..the drive thru attendant was very rude....lemonade gallon bag leaked all over as it was cracked at the bottom of the bag. Asked for spicy and jone of the chicken was spicy at all...definitely was not a good experience. Called the establishment to let them know that didnt get complete order and the woman who answered the phone said management would call me back and til this day no one has called....(4 days later)
Forgot all my sauces on a doordash delivery....workers want $15an hr but cant read an order with 5 things on it correctly. 3 of the 5 being sauce selections. So kinda messed up 60% of the order if you look at it line by line...what job do you work? What if you messed up 60% of your job? Think youd deserve a raise?

The chicken sandwich is really good but Ive been to the drive to through 2 other times when they didnt even take my order. Waited 5 minutes but they never said anything. Both times were just after 11am
They are warm and friendly and the chicken sandwiches are the best ever, not to mention the chicken pieces are mouth watering and just the right amount of spice so go there as soon as possible and enjoy.
Was so happy to have a popeyes not too far away. Loved them when I lived in the south. Unfortunately not the same as in the south. Chicken was dry and biscuits were smaller than in the southern stores and just a bit disappointed
Customer service was horrible! And when I called just to let them know I have been having issues with my food lately, I was told “ well I don’t know” and then I was hung up on. The food has been unbearably salty lately. I’m done waiting my money..
Ever since they put this fast food in, Ive had hits and misses. The food is usually cold, and expensive for what you get. The chicken tenders are very thin, and chewy. Ive gotten the boneless wings and the same result with those. Id choose this any day over KFC because I havent eaten at a good KFC in years, however, Popeyes was a let down for me. Their ours are delicious though.

We had a big drive-thru order with a screaming kid in the car, and these guys handled it perfectly. This was a really good fast meal for our family. I loved the positive attitude of the workers. Good job!
Food is good. Customer Service is not so friendly. I’ve visited this location 3 or 4 times so far and always have to wait long periods before someone even talks to you. I think one time I even left without ordering.
For being a fast food place, it is normal for orders to be incorrect, as we are only human and we all make mistakes. Nothing will ever be perfect, an it is nearly impossible yo be able to satisfy EVERYONE! One customer could be absolutely thrilled with service, when the customer behind could be completely disappointed. We do strive to fix any mistake that are made, and accommodate our customers with whatever will make them want to come back. What i dont understand is, how any tattooed employee gives the store a not so clean appearance. Tattoos do not take orders, they do not pack orders, nor do they make the food. Tattoos on an employee should not effect the rating of a store just because one simply doesnt like the look of them. Ones personal preference, completely differs from the next. Our management is very lenient, understanding, and always put the customers first.
The only reason Im giving them before is because the food was great and the service was great too. However, it was dirty. The floor needed a manor sweeping and the area where the trash cans are was dirty also.

Today my Manager was going to Popeyes for lunch and asked if I wanted anything. I have a gluten allergy so I took a quick look at the menu online. I have had the Cajon rice several times and I love it, but wanted to try something thing new. I looked at green beans and could tell that there was something in with them so I looked at the ingredients and it said green beans with Turkey bacon, which would be fine.Once I opened my Green beans it appeared that there was gravy in them so I made a phone call to Popeyes. The gentleman that answered the phone was very polite he took my name and told me to come back in and they would make it right. I was very happy with this response.When I arrived to this location the Manager that was on duty met me at the counter. I explained to him the phone call that I made earlier, and he said that he was sorry but there would be no refund. Every time I tried to speak he cut me off, and he told me that if I wanted my Green beans with no gravy that I should make them myself at home! At this point I told him that I looked up the ingredients online before ordering and that there was no mention of gravy on the beans. He said that it was Popeyes and they put gravy on everything. I told him that I just left work to come over to correct this as I was instructed to do on the phone and now your giving me a hard time. He again reminded me that there would be no cash refund! I asked him if I could get a Cajon rice instead, he then walked away from me and told an employee to get me a rice. When the young lady came to me with my rice. I asked her who I spoke to when I called earlier and she said that it was another team member. Pretty sad when the employees have better customer service than the Management.Needless to say I will not return.
Finally had the spicy chicken sandwich, and it was pretty awesome, as was the second one I went back for immediately after the first. Service was glacially slow, but it was the holiday crush and the staff were very nice.
What can I say? Popeyes Chicken is the best!!!! Service is excellent 99% of the time. Food is always 100% excellent even when they get the order wrong 😦you cant complain, the food is that good 😍😍🤗
The best southern fried chicken around! We always get the biscuits and mac & cheese as sides. Fast service and consistantly good recipes. Beats the Colonel hands down!
Was treated rudely last night like I was bothering the staff by coming in. Food wasnt fresh tasting. I was excited they had rippin chicken but it was cold and biscuit was hard and cold. I shall not return when I come home to stay in the next few weeks.

The food was absolutely amazing however the signs all said dine-in was allowed and they had specific tables marked and everything but when we went in the cashier said they werent doing dine-in, which was disappointing when we expected to be able to sit at a table and eat.
It will never cease to amaze me how Popeyes is always better NOT in Louisiana proper! This place is great!Now for a little backstory! I used to live in Louisiana for many years, for some reason Popeyes in its home state always seems to be very very slow and always out of something (and didnt have mac n cheese which was odd). Loosiana fast! always makes me laugh. However, every time I have had Popeyes in another state, INCLUDING Mississippi and Texas, its way better than in home turf! I have no idea why.
Their food is good and I enjoyed their buffalo sauce. They need to improve their drive through speaker system and include a screen so customers can know exactly whats being entered.
My husband does not eat mayo and ask to replace that with bbq sauce on a chicken sandwich. Was told they could not do that or even have a packet of bbq sauce unless we paid extra for it. Kid at the window said it was his managers policy and his hands are tied. Window help was extremely rude
Not impressed! Had to wait quite a while for our takeout order. Got back to motel to find that 5 of the 9 pieces of chicken were wings. There were suppose to be 2 legs, 2 thighs, 2 breasts and 3 wings. Ours had 1 breast, 2 thighs, 1 leg & the 5 wings.

Every time at least one item in the order is wrong and the beans and rice are dry, container of rice with a teaspoon of beans, never again.
Food is ok. High-priced for what you get. Everytime I go there theyre out of multiple items. I asked for a different sauce and was told there was a charge for any extras and that they already put BBQ in my bag. I literally had to dig in my bag to pull out the BBQ sauce in exchange for a different sauce so I didnt have to pay extra. I have given this place many chances and have ended up disappointed everytime. I will not be returning.
I was a huge fan of Popeyes Chicken back in the 90s while living in the South. So, when we got a Popeyes Chicken here in Big Flats, I was pleased that I was going to get some of that wonderful southern fried chicken again. It was always better than the what you could find at KFC. Well, they have changed it some how because it just doesnt have that same kick of flavor. The chicken was no better or worse than KFC. I will say that it was less greasy than what I have gotten from KFC. The biscuits were fine as cookie cutter biscuits go. The spicy french fries were typical fast food fries in that they really werent crispy, but they did have a good spicy flavor. The mash potatoes are instant, but no different than what you will find at KFC. The gravy on the mash potatoes had a good flavor. The macaroni and cheese reminded me of a cheap box version made with powdered cheese. The kids will probably like it, but it is not for a discerning palate. We also decided to try the spicy shrimp. Unfortunately, the shrimp was small, over coated, and left in the fryer too long which caused some of it to be somewhat dry and rubbery. Over all, disappointment prevailed for this dinning experience as my memory of dinning on Popeyes Chicken from years ago was chicken with a richer and spicier chicken, the biscuits were lighter and fluffier, and they offered spicy curly fries that bit back when you bit them. If youre hungry and in a hurry for fried chicken, this will do the trick. I havent disqualified Popeyes as a menu item, but its not first on my list when Im looking for dinner. The staff was courteous and patient and eager to help me while I placed my order. They appeared to be well groomed and I saw no tattoos. :)
Good food. Prices arent out of reach for the fare. Service could be quicker at times, though thats often because theyre waiting for a fresh batch of something. Everything is always pretty fresh.
Love their food, grew up eating KFC but now I prefer Popeyes
Worst experience EVER! I cant even begin to describe how BAD it was! 45 minute wait, and they STILL couldnt give me 16 PC white spicy! I have been a popeyes customer at this location since shortly after it opened. And there is ALWAY a problem! But this was by FAR the worst! Time to search for a new popeyes!
Got The Sandwich and the chicken was raw.
The manager was very kind and very accommodating. My father and I arrived late to the drive-thru to pick up food for my brother who was in the ER at the hospital in Corning. Rather than turn us away because the restaraunt had already closed, the manager rushed inside and came back shortly after with a bag of packaged food for us at no cost. He insisted that he would like us to have the food he normally takes at the end of the night for his shift. Instead of taking the food home for himself, he gave it to us. Such a simple and selfless act. It is extremely nice and refreshing to experience small acts of kindness like this. Thank you, sir!
Disgusted. Bought a 3pc combo tonight for my childrens dinner and found something that looked identical to a brain stuck to the bone of one of the pieces of thigh meat. If i knew how to post the picture in this review i totally would. Never again will I eat there.
This is the only Popeyes restaurant Ive ever been to. I really like the Popeyes food but this restaurant particularly does not seem to be run well, And they usually dont get my order right... :(
Went there with my Daughter and Grandson...was treated rudely and made to feel like I shouldnt have been there....food had no taste to it what so ever was not hot food more like warm..ive been to Popeyes in Maine when I lived there...food and service was out of this world they had the best food there cooked right and it was hot had great flavor ..they made you feel so welcome and they really wanted you to come back...i will never go to this one in bigflats ever again...there food and service there was terribly rotten....next time Ill take them to the road house there your treated right and they want you to come back...Not Good...you really need to up your game Popeyes or you will never make it..no wonder why parking lot only had my car and workers cars...and two other people there eating...that alone should have told me to stay away...was around 500 in afternoon when people are looking for super.......Never Again.

Worst service ever! Pulled in the drive thru at 7:59pm...8:23pm still waiting for my dinner! I have already paid or I would just leave! The Elmira, NY store is a shame to the chain. Popeyes is wonderful. They have amazing service, and the store is very clea and kept up. The food there is also amazing. It’s a nice place to get quick fried chicken!
It took 35 minutes to get a spicy chicken sandwich without pickles. They lost my order somehow in the process and they still managed to give me cold fries somehow.
Definitely nothing like the commercials that played for a solid 3 years before I actually found a Popeyes establishment and dined in. Maybe in New York its not what Im used to.. some people swear by it. Not me or my fiance.

The website says they are open till 11pm. My family and I were taking our guest there to eat last evening after church. We arrived at 9:40pm, the doors were locked, chairs on the table. The times on the door said they closed at 10pm.
No issues. The woman at the drive through was a little curt but very efficient.
Waited in line for 10 minutes to order then another 15 minutes to receive my food. Orders after mine kept getting called before mine. They need more counter help during the lunch rush.

My last review of this place I said it had horrible customer service and they were always out of something. Well now they have new employees and they are awesome. Customer service is excellent and they havent forgotten to give me anything since.
I Use to work hear for quite awhile and the management and coworkers are very unprofessional only a select amount of people there that do there job Professionally and I will never and would never work at another Popeyes again I loved what I did just not who I was doing it for!

The restaurant was very busy when it first opened. The food was good and very hot (heat).. now it is mediocre and for fast food, it is on the expensive side. I no longer choose to visit this place...and the parking lot being empty shows others think the same way!
Food was ok. Although went thru the drive thru with the family And everyone decided on a bonified box meal and was informed that there is a limit of only 2 per order???? What is that all about. Guess wont be going there again with the family

2022-01-25Awful experience, usually we have great luck here but we paid $28 for our chicken sandwiches the 2 eat for $10 deal, a chicken leg and a Mac n cheese. Mac n cheese had the pictured burnt layer of cheese on all 3, chicken leg was drenched in grease and the chicken sandwiches were SO SOGGY we both took a bite and had to spit it back out. Really disappointed. Come here because how much my kiddos love it and they couldnt even eat the food tonight.

2022-03-23We read a review by a food critic named Jeremy Schneider, who rated Popeye’s fish sandwich as one of the best, so we made a point to try it. We don’t agree. We thought it was mediocre at best, and mine was extremely salty, and bland otherwise. At least it was served nice and hot. The big surprise was the mac and cheese side - it was delicious! The order taker (female) was friendly, but the guy at the window was rude for absolutely no reason. We have no idea as to why he barely looked at us or spoke, even when handing back my card. Maybe he was having a bad day, or unhappy about being there, because it certainly wasn’t anything we did or said. He said nothing at all when he handed us the food. I automatically said “thank you” to which he replied “yep”. I have never seen him there before, and hope I don’t see him again. We usually get chicken sandwiches once or twice per month. I think we will drive around the building before we order next time, to make sure he isn’t the one at the window. I certainly hope he wasn’t the manager, because he was very unprofessional, and barely even civil.

2021-08-25I had a very good experience today, and thats really saying something during a time when so many restaurants arent treating their staff well, or simply not paying them well. This seems to be a very well-run location compared to other fast food restaurants in the area. They were busy but the line moved quickly (compare this to McDonalds nearby, where the line didnt move an inch for three minutes!). I got my food quickly, there were lots of employees behind the counter, they all seemed to be in a good mood. The guy who took my order was so pleasant, I was motivated to tip, and thats not something I usually do when ordering fast food. Keep it up Popeyes! I will be back!

2021-12-14The inside was supposed to be closed but doors weren’t locked properly. I wasnt aware the inside was closed and was never told it was closed until I heard employees arguing the door wasn’t locked properly. Poor Customer Service. Took 5 minutes to be waited on. Multiple employees just standing and watching us wait for our order. Asked for sauce and didn’t get a single one. Rushed the whole time order was being taken. Came home unsatisfied then opened my food to see this. Overall terrible experience.

2022-03-06If I could give them a half of a start I would. The inside is filthy. There was no line. Not busy and 3 customers inside and no drive thru line. We had to wait almost 5 minutes to be greeted. Had to clean off our own table and the seat. Stepping on garbage all over the floor. Our receipt was correct but none of our food was, nor did it taste hot and fresh. The staff was rude, sloppy and lazy. This visit was supposed to redeem Popeyes from my last visit where I waited AN HOUR for my food when it wasnt even busy. I will NEVER return here again. The food is trash, the store looks like trash and so didnt the staff.

2022-07-02It’s a new crew. Everyone was so polite and courteous. Drive thru -Tiffany was amazing. Even met with the GM and now I know the crew is a reflection of the GM. She is so polite and sweet! I enjoyed my sandwiches so much!! Thank you so much.

2022-06-12The place seems to always be busy which is good and the food is pretty tasty. Ive had to return my order to be corrected a couple of times in the past but the guy who runs the front line was apologetic, very nice and expedient at correcting any issues. I will return to eat there again simply bc of that.

2022-06-26Stopped to eat, they close the dining room early, so I tried to walk throw the drive through, never took my order! If you are going to close the dining room when ever you want, then you need not to have a time saying you will be open! For the drive through, I fond out, that it only turns on with a cars or trucks! That they dont always except or turn on for motorcycles because other fast food places said its a problem bur they never fix it?
