I just visited this location to pay my monthly fee and ask why it is beimg raised for a second time in 6 months . Normally increases happen every year. Leticia at the Southern Blvd location was able to assist me with this request. She was able to process my rental fee and took care of the increase inquiry very professionally and very quickly. Rented a unit at 367 Southern Blvd in the Bronx and within six months they raised my rent by $79.00 more per month. Thats too high. Unless youre rich, youll lose your stuff in no time here. Multiple calls to Customer Service are no help. Not worth trying. I removed my personal information in the image provided, but this is the email from them. My rate was $202 in February to $281 in March 2022.Expect LARGE rental increases in a very small amount of time.

I don’t usually write reviews bad or good when it’s not necessary. However, my experience at this location was far beyond satisfactory. I drove all the way from Philadelphia, PA to this location. There has been a recent family emergency, and I really thought this transition with storing the family’s belongings would be easy. 1. I couldn’t believe the parking situation in itself. From what I have seen, this is a busy location for it to have no parking available for their customers. Especially room for moving trucks, vans, etc. 2. I’m not too sure the new process of using a cart, but asking for my ID and NOT having one available isn’t it! I don’t understand why the employees wouldn’t know how much they have on hand or available at that moment. 3. The organization and communication between employees to customers need to be observed and coached to it in the moment.Thankfully I went to another location and THAT process with them went smoothly, friendlier and a lot more convenient.Hope there will be improvements soon!

Since Ive rented the unit, I have been there about three times a week and everyone is very pleasant and super helpful. The location is perfect and the 6 Train is right there as well. I’ve only stored here about a month and I was called in this week to come check on my belongings. $1500 lost down the drain. I should’ve just thrown my stuff away before coming here because this was a waste of time. Didn’t even have the decency to clean up the water before I arrived. This is an out rage and insurance that they offer does not help.

I would absolutely recommend this facility. I was absolutely amazed by the great customer service (being in the bx I was expecting attitude from employees) Chivonnie has such patience and was so great at explaining everything from size to billing. Do not believe the previous reviews. I’ve stored here for over 3 years and my things have been destroyed 4 times due to leaking every rain or wet seasons.I’ve also transferred my unit twice but still no change. Not to mention the rat problem that’s going on in there as well. Im disappointed that I had to let my storage go because of the water damage. The insurance public storage provided didn’t help either. I had a a lot of things and being a single mom I can’t move those heavy belongings myself and nor do I have the money for movers either. I’ve spoken with the dm who is hard to get in contact with but he also informed me that there aren’t any workers there to help me. So I warn everyone reading this review DO NOT STORE AT THIS LOCATION.
Words can not express how grateful I am for the last minute customer service that I received from Joanna, Ronald and Denise. I experienced an emergency storage situation and this team truly went above and beyond to help me! They sacrificed working beyond normal hours to assist me in a difficult situation. I am forever thankful for their professionalism, efficiency, friendliness, patience and knowledge they displayed throughout my entire storage rental process. I went to look at storage options 2 days ago. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Ronald took me to look at a few options, and got the best price with a great storage room. Very personable and professional! They also have everything you need there: boxes, tape, locks, etc. Even special canisters that wipe out odors and moisture to make our storage area fresh. Happy to have signed my rental agreement on the spot!

Very friendly and professional. Lawrence met us from the moment we got in and he was super helpful And accommodating even we got a bit late. He said he would make our first day experience wonderful and he did.
It’s the facility for me. It’s too dusty feels like you’re standing outside when you’re in the building in the winter. Not a place you’d want to come grab somethings in the summer either. The building is not climate controlled and there are leaks every month. What a disaster. Staff is partially friendly though.
The staff at this location is extremely rude and unprofessional especially Lawrence I have never experienced an employee so unprofessional he was cursing and calling people out of their names. It’s a disgrace for a business to have an employee so rude.Also the company had a flood in the building, they didn’t notify me correctly of the flooding, so they took it upon themselves to enter my storage and throw things out such as important documents that can’t be replaced and didn’t even tell me, until I realized certain items was missing and I brought it to their attention. They were so nonchalant and unprofessional sadly to say they have ruined the public storage good name for me and I’ll never do business or recommend them to anyone especially this location.Clearly the people who left glowing reviews about Lawrence have to be his family and friends because he is definitely a lot of things but friendly and professional isn’t one of them. Ironically the people who wrote those reviews have only written one review and it pertains to him??
Today- 12/29/19- The minute i walked in i had a good vibe about the place. I was greeted by all the staff. Michelle was actually the one that helped me with my online reservation. She provided me with all the information I needed to know about renting and showed me the units. She was very helpful with answering my questions and gave me all the answers. She new her job. She had a great personality, which made my move alot easier. Thank you again MICHELLE for you help! I will definitely recommend this location.

The associates were very helpful, there was a power outage going on at the property , but the team that worked their , Kevin, Gee, Darius, and Luis did way more than they should have. They helped me bring my items to my unit , while helping us navigate the darkness. They were very helpful.

For a storage place I was very disappointed with the condition of the building . The only reason why I went through and rented a unit was due to the great service I received from one of the staff Tashana. She made feel like my belongings would be safe and she also explained how to pack the units so I would have enough room . Overall she was great help and made things easier for myself. Had the service sucked as bad as the appearance did I would of walked right out !! They lucky they even got 3stars out of me.

I was told yesterday around 4:45 PM by the young lady with the braids I wasn’t allowed to use the bathroom because the faculty was closing at 5 PM I don’t understand why I was unable to use it so I asked her why and she responded “because she ready to go home “. The service at this establishment is absolutely unprofessional and I’m going to take my business elsewhere . The customer service is mediocre. Will not recommend

My husband and I had a great experience with this Public Storage. Our attendant, David, was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. He took the time to fully explain our contract to us so that we understood exactly what the charges would be, when they would occur and why. The unit that we rented was in one of the more newly renovated levels and was very clean. The facility in general was also very clean and easy to navigate. We are very happy with our experience using Public Storage so far, and we would definitely recommend this facility and location to others.

The employee here borrowed my phone and left this 5 star review when I initially got my storage unit... lol...Anyway, not a bad place. The hours kind of suck on the weekend and getting into a loading bay with a moving truck is very difficult on the weekends. Prepare to wait a bit. During the week its a bit easier.

I have been a customer here for two years and i must say i never had any issues. The property manager eunice is always very professional and courteous. Whenever she saw me, she always stopped to say hello and asked me if i had any concerns. Eunice has great customer service skills and will definitely assist you if you are in need of storage.
The attendant Omeisha P. was absolutely delightful to deal with. She showed me the options available and helped guide me to the right size storage I needed. While there, it was very busy, and though she was serving me, I appreciated her taking the time to make quick inquiry of people coming in, asking them to take a seat until she was done with me, or answering quick questions rather than have clients just piling in and standing there. She was polite and efficient - a great multi-tasker

This place was very helpful to me today. All of the people there were so kind and it reminded me of why i love new york. John helped us open up our new storage and gave us such a good vibe. The only good thing about this place is some of his employees, like Ronald who was always willing to help. I came one night to pick up an Air conditioner that I needed it so bad. I ran all day to make it to my storage unit before they close. I got there 25 minutes before they close and they didn’t let me in. I offered a tip and then I was able to get the a/c. They raise my rent every year. Before them it was All American Storage and I was paying $59 dollars, I end up paying $139 dollars for the same unit. I have finally move out !!! Finally. The second star goes for the hours of operation they changed.
I love how clean there facility is. The staff especially Lawrence has great customer service skills. Lawrence gave me all the information that I and i was able to move in before my expected move in date. Public storage is the way to go.
Caught in a bit of a bind I found myself looking for storage . I found this location and only three minutes to closing, I decided to take a chance. I found property manager Eunice and without hesitation she showed me a space that was awesome and perfect. She never rushed me and the entire process step by step . I was greeted by a very kind and helpful employee by the name of Dejaneé, who walked me though getting the right size storage unit, insurance and the basis ins and outs of using and payment. my only issue is had was immediate access to the elevator, but the staff was very helpful with that as well. not really much more I can ask for.
Very good customer service. I loved how the information aboutPublic Storage was given to me and explained to me. Carla one of the associates there was very helpful and easy to talk too and knew the information well.
Genisha is the absolute best. 100% absolutely genuine and she explained every move in detail clearly so I wouldn’t be confused. Very greatful I came here.
At first I didn’t like the unit i assigned to but Lawrence was there and more than happy to help me with my storage needs. I almost wanted a refund but great service which helps goes a long way!!!
This public storage location is very unprofessional and lacks good customer service. Starting with Lawrence his attitude is beyond disgusting, I walked into the unit to pay my bill & he was on a FaceTime call with someone the entire time. This storage also has very terrible insulation, not flood proof, has a ton of spiders & very dusty.
Julissa was phenomenal !!!!!!! 5 stars for her ! Genisha as well they had Great smile great energy I never been anywhere where I received so much attention and care.Would definitely recommend this spot! Good work ladies

Every single employee I encountered, both at this location and the other Bronx locations, were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional, specifically Genisha at this location and Toni at Brush Ave. I am a pretty tough customer and I was really impressed.One smallish thing....the bathroom here is atrocious. Granted, you dont choose your storage facility for their bathrooms but this one is pretty scary.Lastly, as a general tip, you really need to go look at the spaces at any storage facility for yourself. They will often have a giant pillar running through the middle of your space.

This public storage has so much space facility for off-loading and loading of your loads. The garage space for parking is massive. It can take from small car to very big truck. The open space to wait for some couple of minutes if you need a break from the hustling of ups and down the building.The lift is very secured and installed with a Camera. You can only move up to the next building if you have the access code to the floor. The storage space is convenient for the cost.The staff are simple. I really do not have much to say about the staff because I have little ot no interractions with them.Extra Space Storage is also close by on the same street to this public storage.
My visit and transaction was great! Anas assistance, and knowledge was the clincher to acquire unit...She is friendly, courteous, patient and very knowledge...Public Storage is Lucky to have her as employee...

I reserved a space but the lady over the phone was so rude and informed me I could not come see the space because it’s 5pm and the place closes at 6pm. However the is another storage place called Extra Space across the street in which is open til 7pm.
Wonderful service! Felicia helped me upgrade to a larger unit AND found me one that was very close to the unit I was currently renting. She was very polite, informative, and professional. She made my experience very pleasant. Thank you to PublicStorage and Felicia!
I had a great experience here! The place is crispy clean and smells lovely. The only place in the Bronx that had a charger for my Android phone! Give it up for Amy, Genisha and our friend Lawerence.
The service was excellent. Special mention to David R. and Kenneth Z. I was stressed about moving out of a space within only a few hours time and they assisted me by giving me a great breakdown of the procedure and calmly instructing me through the process. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and colleagues. On top of the great customer service, I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the facility.
The place is kept clean the employees are very professionals this is my first time renting I did not know the you have to buy the padlock, also did not know the it was an admission fee there more thing that this storage places can do to be a little more transparency on the way they do business. But over all it was a good experience.

This is my first experience using a self storage facility, and I have thus far been very satisfied with Public Storage. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the rental process was smooth and straightforward. Anniesa was extremely friendly and helpful, patiently showing me the available units and walking me through the paperwork - her positive attitude and sense of humor have played a huge role in making my experience with Public Storage a good one.
Anna was absolutely friendly, courteous and informative. I am more than satisfied with the attention I received. She honestly helped me make the right choice without being pushy as most places are.

I had a really good experience here. I was actually in the neighbourhood to view another public storage place, but they had no units available that I was looking for (Thank god, because their location was also very sketchy and the place did not look as good at Public Storage). While I walked back to the subway, I went inside Public Storage to have a look. I was welcomed by a young fella called Jeff. Jeff was great! He showed me a few units and he actually recommended me the smaller one (without wanting to sell me a bigger one). Jeff set me up, we did the paper work, gave me a lock and walked back with me to close the unit and show me one more time where everything was. Jeff also managed to give me a cheaper online rate and one month for free. All in great experience and I am so happy I went inside. The place looks really neat and clean, right next to the subway.Thank you Jeff and Public Storage!!

So after months I was able to check my things that I took out of storage. I guess they didnt like the review about fixing the small handicap elevator, because I realized I was missing alot of things. Apparently they had to change my locks and they told me when I went to get some things before . I wonder why ? Seems you get your stuff stolen and arent even told. Plus they raise the price whenever they feel like it. If it wasnt that I were disabled I wouldve realized my things missing sooner. Plus after 4 months ur out of luck I bet. Especially since youre never seeing your things again.
I rented a unit because of Dejanee a customer service representative who was most hospitable & patient in walking me around in getting me the right unit I was most comfortable with. I am very selective but very polite of which she was very respectful & receptive in doing her best, she was great at both. I also like to say the Welcoming I received from an employee name Isaiah a fine gentleman, who was wearing a facemask do to cleaning dutys but projected his voice clear, loud enough for me to hear & understand that was awesome. There was another gentleman name Sandy who helped me lift one of my property from the ground to loading platform I was appreciative & impressed, along with everyone else who is part of the team they are all professional at there field, I know I will feel comfortable talking to them about any situation should there be one. There is one downer my storage unit does not have great to little lighting inside but Im kinda cool with it & the place could use a restoration, other than that Thank You guys & Public Storage.
As anyone who has ever moved can tell you, the experience is troublesome. The employees at Public Storage went out of their way to assist in making my move a pleasant one. I have never met a more amenable employee than David. He truly made my moving experience bearable. The customer service at this Public Storage location is unmatched. I would recommend them to all of my friends.

First time back since they change the elevator and doors. Elevator call button not labeled. No sign saying how to get the doors to close. I started in 2010 with different owner, i have gone from paying 70 to 107 when public storage took over. Not happy ... i am aware that prices go up. But from when i started with the prior owners who didnt go crazy every year.

My name is Deneen Woodard and I am very pleased to write that my husband and I just recently came to Public Storage in the Bronx at 367 Southern Blvd. to purchase a storage unit. The service was utterly amazing. I mean, as soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with a smile and asked how could we be helped. The employee explained everything to us from A-Z with clarity and what is obviously a passion for what he does. I was thoroughly impressed and would have never thought that caring people liked that worked in a storage place. I always had a entirely different image of the workers, but that employee changed that. In fact, I even filled out an application for employment because hopefully I can have an opportunity to effect someone the way that he effected my husband and I. This gentlemans name is Marlon. Kudos Marlon for doing such a fantastic job!!!
The five stars are for Carla who provided excellent customer service before, during and after the move-in process. At all times, she was professional and courteous, providing solutions to problems we encountered along the way. For example, she quickly provided another suitable unit for the same price after we learned that Public Storage gave away our original reserved unit to someone else without informing us in advance. Another example, when we agreed to take the next unit available, we discovered that someones unwanted items still remained in it. Carla took initiative and worked with other staff to have the unit cleaned and ready for our move-in immediately. Thank God for Carla! Moving can be stressful. But her upbeat, friendly personality made the process more bearable. She was available to troubleshoot unexpected problems and provided a follow-up phone call to make sure our move-in process went okay.My image of Public Storage was going in a negative direction fast until we started working with Carla. Based on her professional performance and excellent customer service, I hope that management considers her for a well-deserved raise.
I rented a storage unit on September 3, 2013. I was assisted by Kenneth Zapata. Kenneth was very helpful in assisting me. He was very patient with me, as he showed me a couple of units. The storage facility is very clean. The only thing that I would recommend is that they have more moving carts available. I had to wait more than half an hour for a moving cart.
This place was very helpful, I was helping my aunt move, and the building had a power outage. The associates there, Kevin and Amy were beyond helpful. They handled our problems with ease as well as the other issues going on with the power in the building.
I had a wonderful experience with a beautiful rep by the name of Genisha. She was very knowledgeable about the products and services and she had great energy. I would recommend anyone to this location. I was completely satisfied.

I just moved to the city, living in a friends sublet, and needed to store my personal things but had no idea where to go. I stopped here first and didnt need to go any further. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Everyone I saw in the office that day and sine, no matter who or what, was treated with the same courteousness. They wanted to make sure I had the space I needed, the price I could afford, the amenities that were appropriate--I feel secure and comfortable with my things stored here.
Anniesa, was the person who registered me when I rented a space at this location. She was very courteous and professional. Although I am somewhat disappointed with my reservation which was listed as a 5 X 5 and was told that it would be 7 feet tall, the reservation was for a locker size unit. Therefore, I had to pay a extra to get what I wanted - misleading advertisement. I am however very happy with the professionalism I encountered in the office.

I have been with this place since 2007. I have noticed that on recent years the rates have gone up a lot. I decided to leave because last week I tried to visit the storage on two occasion and could not park my car. Too many cars are parked there. So I went one more time and again could not park to go to my storage. I cannot park on the street because no parking during the same hours the business is open. So I asked about the parking availability was told where do you expect the employees to park?. She was trying to tell somewhere in that line. Leave if you dont like it. So I did. I found another storage with a larger unit then what I had. When I went to tell them I was leaving, she checked my file and just grabbed some keys and yelled I am going to vacate a storage. No one asked why? Well I just figure we as great long time customers, it would have been to fight to keep us. Was I wrong. Not even thank u for your business, just walked away. Think twice before coming to this location. Check it out a few times and see why I saw.
Im a customer of the Public Storage on Southern Blvd. and I love it. The customer service is excellent Ive never had a problem with anything in my unit. Ive been helped by a number of employees but David would be a definite go to for any issues or questions you may have. Seen issues in other storage places and thankful to not have any of those here.
I had arrived late for me reservation and the experience did not change. Dejanee was very helpful and patient even though there were some technical issues. I was shown the space and offered packaging options for the items that I was storing. The atmosphere relaxed and the staff is very friendly. Thanks, Dejanee!
I rented at this Facility in May. I have have not been disappointed at all with my experience. The building is kept well maintained and the Mangers are very professional and personable. I always forget how to lock up my unit and someone is always their to help. I would definitely recommend this Facility.
We have had our unit at this location for over one year now, but we are writing this review because of the exceptional service we experienced this past weekend by a representative and manager, Danielle and David respectively. We arrived the day before labor day to the surprise of an out of service elevator and following the prompt response by Danielle at making sure we didnt need to worry, she alerted David who then personally escorted us through alternate entrances to our assigned floors. David struck up a pleasant conversation with us which kept our minds off of the ordeal. He was charming, articulate and very professional. Right away both individuals made a highly incovenient experience, actually quite enjoyable. Thanks David and Danielle!
I had a great experience, one of the best employees Ive ever met named Samantha she helped me a great deal, she was very knowledgable and answered all my questions and concerns. The tour of the facility she gave me helped me find just the right unit.My advice ask for Samantha shell help you find the unit that fits your needs.

The building is clean most of the time and there are always carts available. Parking is tedious sometimes. There is zero consistency as far as the staff and upper management go.UPDATE: I was contacted by a member of upper management and we talked about my experience with the facility. It was a wonderful gesture.
I came in today stressed out after a long drive from Atlanta to NY struggling trying to find a storage for my stuff and the working crew Ashley, Anna, and Isaiah made my experience easier than i thought it would be. I laughed from the moment i walked in to the moment i left. Oh and the prices are GREAT !!
The absolute fastest service I’ve ever seen. The worker even re cleaned my unit before I moved in. Great welcoming service, clean location highly recommended. Lawrence and Michelle are a charm.

2022-07-20Truly find any other storage location for your items.When I moved in, the large elevator for furniture wasnt working. When I returned the dollies at the end, we learned that one of the employees had given my dads license to another unit renter who lived in deep Brooklyn, and had to go meet the woman on my own dime to retrieve it.I got a call 2 days later after it rained to say that water had gotten into the building and affected my unit.I would NOT under any circumstances recommend this location or company.

Hair was on point and she literally wore the perfect footwear to match her gray & orange P.S. Uniform. What was so cool was how I was personally greeted by the keypad after she showed how to input my access code for the elevators.The ratings are real! My experience was great! Thank you Tanaysha!

2022-03-25I was offered a low rate and i didnt know why till after a month or so in, this place as nice as it looks doesnt really have much else but storage. Barely a restroom, no where to throw out any unused storage with fees waiting for you going from $200. They have no ramp for anything heavy you cant use the elevator for elderly to help load things up. so yea
