I havent been there in probably 20 years with the exception of snagging a bacon egg and cheese a few years ago when my brother was renting a uhaul out back. My girlfriend and I stopped in about 8pm. We had just beat the rush apparently. We were seated promptly and received friendly attentive service. I had the brisket special which could have arrived warmer but Im sure they would have heated it more if I asked but I was hungry. The portions were enough I took some home for the next day and had a brisket sandwich for lunch. My girlfriend had a Buffalo chicken panini that she enjoyed. The place has been around forever. Its an area institution.
Pretty much an old fashioned Catskills diner that is way beyond its heyday. Surprisingly, their chef salad was fresh and good and their coffee is arguably one of the best in Sullivan County, which is saying whatever you interpret it to mean . I’ve eaten here in the past and it has always been great. Today the food wasn’t good the chicken was tough and dry and my husbands sandwich had small black hairs in it…. Also his hash was drowning in greese.. not sure if there’s a new chef but not happy about our meal.
Our waiter had an issue with my friend and 9 year old niece from the start. I ordered a Bacon, Turkey burger with mozzarella cheese and onions. I got a unseasoned turkey burger with turkey bacon and swiss cheese. 🤦🏻♀️ I wasnt about to send my food back. She was super rude. Definitely failed the vibe test! I ALSO asked to pack up please the rest of the no flavor turkey burger. She gave me a look and walked away. I had to take my plate over to the counter side and ask a latino for a foil to wrap my own burger. Horrible service. Hire people that actually like working.
Horrible service waitress was more interested in gossiping than providing serviceFood is getting less appetizing every time we stop.This was probably our last visit.Too bad used to be one of the best in the area.
This was my first time at the Diner, and I loved it, the onion rings were the best, never had onion rings this delicious, the chicken in my salad were better than my mothers, the waitress Smiles is so adorable, she is great she makes the dinner a Happy place, I highly recommend this place and I give it a 5 star place,truly wonderful, Love it.
I have been there many times over the years. Its a place where customers are like family, everyone is greeted like an old friend. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Always a great experience.
This place has been a great place to eat for the last 28 years (how long Ive been stopping there), no its not fancy but it is just solidly good diner food
I’m glad my family and I decided to come here.The Hispanic waitress was so nice and attentive.The food was delicious and many options.The restaurant was clean and following COVID rules so we felt safe.The food is not over price so I’m coming back.
The real thing, old school diner. Good breakfast on a rainy motorcycle trip. Coffee is good and strong, friendly folks working there, clean restrooms, too.

2022-03-08I like this for a place to gather with the family for some much needed family time. The appetizers were good the regular food was good and some of the desserts were good. The cannoli cheesecake was amazing. The brownie was more cake like so I would not recommend that. The service was great!!! And the waitress was super friendly and nice.

2022-06-28One of the best classic diners. My picture was of the front seating area which is original diner. They also have a more conventional dining area behind. We had breakfast specials which were both reasonably priced and Delicious. Food was cooked your order and very good. I do love their pancakes. The staff was friendly and attentive. When the owner came in and greeted everyone.

2021-11-08Classic diner. Huge menu. The food was good but nothing to rave about. The burger meat was a little tough and there was a tendon or bone in a burger. Good value. Solid choice for something off the highway. Clean bathrooms. Did I mention the menu is huge?

2022-01-28We were seated quickly, the waitress and staff were very efficient and friendly. The seating was covid safe- spaced out and had plastic shields between tables. The food was frrsh and good - they even offered gluten free options. My husband ordered the onion rings with his sandwich and they were fantastic! Highly recommend!

2022-04-29Loved it had a Great burgers n fries cooked perfect. For Dessert my favorite lemon meringue pie, my wife had banana cream pie. Prices are reasonable, Delicious food knowledgeable and friendly staff,

2022-02-27Foods good but pricey, apple pie taste like it came out of a box frozen. Edit: in response to your reply to my previous review, on your door was a sign that said youve increased prices 12%. National increase in inflation is a little over 7% so not only did you match inflation you increase prices an additional 5% for sheer profit as I am sure you were turning a profit before the inflation increase. Enjoy the rest of your day.

2021-04-29The food was delicious, and my server Sara was wonderful! On my way home from a camping trip, I saw a sign on the side of the highway and Im so glad that I decided to pull over, what a calming pleasant experience, with delicious food. Thanks again Sara and everyone in the back whom I did not see who prepared the food :)Oh also I got the corned beef hash with two eggs and coffee.

2022-06-20The chicken strips were small and so dry and tough they were inedible. When we brought our order back for a refund the man actually opened it up and bit one and said it was fine. 25 dollars for some fries and tiny chicken nugget sized strips was already insane but then I got home and now for the last two days since we ate them weve had food poisoning I do not recommend anyone eat here

2022-02-26Quickway Diner definitely has there business figured out! Quick percise employees and excellent quality food. Compared to other diners in the sullivan county area I was greatly impressed with there service. I got breakfast, hubby had a deluxe cheeseburger. Oh man I gotta say breakfast was great but the burger phenomenal, chefs kisses. Definitely will be back! Also cool thing I noticed, tips left on cards are IMMEDIATELY given to servers so no more feeling bad or wondering if they get it. Props to Quickway Diner

2022-06-11Great food and easy to get to from Rt. 17. I had the lamb and beef gyro and it was fantastic: warm, soft and fresh pita and tasty filling. Onions rings are also great.
