I would rate this company with a ZERO if it was an option! The services proved by Reliable Transportation One Inc., would include the following:1. Everyone involved in my move would be an employee of the company. The company is bonded, licensed, and insured.2. ALL of my furniture would be wrapped with moving blankets.3. The employees that would pack my crystal and china are all professionals and have the expertise necessary to do the job.4. Everything would be numbered and a complete inventory taken. As things are brought into my new home, they would call off numbers so I could check the list and make certain everything had been delivered before they left.5. The area manager would be calling with updates throughout the procedure letting me know when they would actually be coming to the house to load and pack my things.6. Paperwork to purchase additional replacement value insurance would be sent to me via the US mail.7. The final estimate on May 4th included the addition of $500. This add-on amount would allow for any error in space calculation or packing materials. I was informed it could be less but assured it would not exceed an additional $500.Per the company overview above, the following is a listed outcome of those stated services:1. Not everyone involved in this move worked for the company. Two of the four men sent to my house were migrant day workers and not professional movers OR packers. The truck driver that delivered my possessions to Columbus, Ohio, did not work for the company. He was an independent driver. The young man helping to unload my things in Columbus, Ohio was a day worker hired by the driver and not an employee of the company.2. More than half of my furniture was not wrapped or protected in any way. This resulted in a lot of damage.3. They did NOT provide a dish pack container, nor did they bring any packing paper to pack my china and crystal. Ronald, the worker packing my china and crystal was not a mover or packing professional. My grandmothers china was crushed due to his negligence.4. By no means was everything numbered. The furniture and boxes that were delivered were just dumped off, on the day of delivery, in Ohio by the driver and a day worker and all before anything could be verified. Because I was not invited to view how my belongings were loaded for transportation, whether or not they had actually wrapped my furniture or how fully loaded the truck was with other transport jobs, I was never able to see how many cubic feet were actually used to verify my moving charges.5.The area manager NEVER once called with updates telling me when they were coming out to load my things for the move. Someone from the area office did text me. When asked, he would NOT call me. I was unable to leave a message because their phone messaging system was not set up.6. Despite numerous phone calls to the Territory Manager in California, no paperwork was ever sent for the purchase of insurance.7. The final price for the contract is not given until everything is packed. The original estimate was $4,028. The final price given was $5,761. When I noted to the driver this was in excess of $1,700 more than the add-on price I was quoted, I was given no option to disagree as it was noted all of my belongings were already loaded for transport.Immediately after my possessions were delivered and I began an accounting of the damage and loss, I called the CA manager to request information on where my missing items might be located. He never got back to me. I also over-viewed the company’s negligence in sending papers to purchase insurance and was informed they never had my email address. The salesman did not put it into the system so they could not email the necessary documents. I commented that they did have my address and they were capable of sending the documents through the US Postal Service.On July 18th, I contacted the CA manager with partial list of my missing and damaged things. He said a claim would be filed. To date nothing has been done by the company.

My experience with Reliable Transportation one was hands down phenomenal, my sales representative Tasha was very attentive to every details of my move , the price she gave me over the phone went up because she did explained to me that if on my move day there was more then I will pay more, (price change was satisfying). I requested a full packing service and the movers did an excellent job. I recommend that you explained every fine details of your move to your sales representative, so there is an understanding of what is what. Overall the service was great and I will definitely used them in the future again and recommend to family and friends. Thank you Reliable Transportation one

Please read this carefully to prove why you should not deal with this company AT ALL. We booked with reliable transportation one ( even though they go by the name of reliable transportation, which is the name of a different trustworthy company, we figured that out after looking at the different reviews). Anyways, we booked with them for a move from CT to CA. At first, we talked to Tommy and we gave him the exact list of what were taking, and then he gave us an estimate of 700 ft3, and told us that it would be $2800 for our total. Then on the day of the move, the guys arrived late, and while theyre loading I kept asking for an updated measurement, and they didnt know. At the end, they came to me and said that my total is gonna be around $10000, including the packing that they did, but we had already packed 99% of the stuff, they only had to wrap a couple mirrors and a painting. We argued and argued, then they say if you want us to take down the stuff its gonna be $2600. So, we call the police, and they said that its a civil matter and that they cant help in any way. I did not want to pay $2600 for nothing, so we call the manager and argued and threatened to call the police, then they agree on $4000, and we sign the new contract. The next day, the manager (Dave) calls saying that their guy got the measurement wrong, and that it would be $6500, and when we said that we have a contract for $4000, Dave said that he threw that contract out the window. They kept our stuff as ransom and said that theyll keep it until we pay what they want. After a lot of negotiation he went down to $5500, and we paid it the same day even though it was still double how much we were expecting. Two days later they ship out the stuff, and a week later the truck arrived missing all the valuable pieces that we had on it ( wall mirror, oil painting, and a few other accessories for the house). DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!! THEYRE JUST A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS AND CONS. ESPECIALLY DAVE!

I did a move with Reliable Transportation and was went very very well.I was nervous at first because of what I have heard about moving companies but they were very careful wrapping the furniture. Loading my furniture.The men were very friendly and professional. My furniture got to my new home on time.And No damages at all.I would use this company again.I have told my friends about this company and I would recommend this company to anyone who wants a stress free move.A wonderful experience.And a wonderful moving.They Are Truly Reliable.And most of all they got my furniture to me on time.

0 stars. Reliable transportation is TERRIBLE, UNRELIABLE AND AWFUL. Dave is the guy we dealt with and he is the biggest liar. Every word out of his mouth was a lie. They lie and cheat and scam you out of money. We agreed on the price, but when they came to get the furniture the price was double. We were charged $200 for bubble wrap, to wrap one glass shelve. The delivery was 8 days late and some things were damaged and unwrapped. When we were waiting for delivery, they would not answer the phone and lie about when the truck would be coming. When we would finally get them on the phone they would say they dont know anything and we should ask the driver.

Very unhappy with their service. Although I was given a quote of $947 when they picked up my furniture It went up to $2100.00. Doesnt make any sense. I had given them the exact furniture count and instead of 15 boxes I had 26.Two weeks and an email to Tommy and I never received a call or response. I had to call him. My move was picked up 6/23 and its 7/10 and still no furniture although I mentioned on the forms I needed this for the first week on July.After speaking to Tommy last week he was suppose to call me after speaking to dispatch, never got a call.Furniture is missing and I have no idea when Im receiving my things.I would not recommend them AT ALL

I recently did a move with Reliable Transportation and I was very happy with the service.The men were excellent and the service was very good.The price didnt change much.at the last minute I added a basement of furniture.About another tee rooms of furniture and Dave Hoffman was very very good to me and my family. He reduced the price for me.It was my wifes mother furniture. It really ment a lot to us and he Dave worked with us And he gave us a discount .And there were no damages.If your looking for a good moving company Move with Reliable Transportation One.talk to Dave Hoffman.He a great Guy! And he ales his moves Seriously.He is sincerity a good man and a great relocation specialist.

I moved to CA from NM a month ago and used services of Reliable Transportation One. They did a good job. The customer service is great, able to honestly and fast answer all my questions anytime. Their prices are reasonable and fair. I was worried that my stuff would be delayed but everything arrived on expected time and with no damage. Thank you for your help and definitely would recommend this company.

MOST UNRELIABLE TRANSPORTATION!!!! STAY AWAY!!!I have same experience as other, they screwed up estimates for my move from Hartford to Columbus. They gave estimates for $1950 and charged $3250. They estimated my stuff at 450 CF and charged for 600 CF. Then delivered my so called 650 CF in a small VAN having capacity of 319 CF. Can anyone believe this? They know magic to squeeze your 650 CF stuff in 319 CF. That too that had some material of some other customers as well in that small van.I LOST MY 2 BOXES and my other stuff was damaged. The boxes were in same situation as posted by guys given previous reviews. No different treatment. Not sure why are they in business? My mattresses got damaged and furniture also got damaged. Expecting any compensation from this firm is like expecting a moon on a no moon night. Hopeless people. I dont want to put names here for there team as its in their DNA. Any employee who joins them will behave same as I could recognize all the names which were mentioned from previous posts. So they are all same and owner of company supports this.I cant put my disappointment in words but can anyone suggest best way to take action against them? I have all the proofs on damages and on what charged for less CF. Cheated on estimates and delivered damaged items, lost 2 boxes and misrepresented the facts. IF someone is already taking action can contact me I can provide more details.

I used Reliable a month ago. The person I spoke to on the phone was professional, and I liked the price that I was given. I also liked that I received everything within the time I was given. However, I generously loaned out one of my tools to one of the workers and he drove away with it. I text the worker several times regarding the tool and was promised that it would be mailed back to me. It has been over a month and I HAVE NOT received it. At this point in time, Its stealing from a customer. PLEASE DO NOT LEND ANY OF THE WORKERS ANYTHING! You wont get it back!
