Stopped in to this quaint Indian cuisine place on Kenmore and Starin. The family that runs it was very inviting. The food was amazing from the lentil soup to the garlic naan and the chicken dish that I tried. Everything was fresh and made to order .Just delicious. I will be back
The food was sooo terrible, I want to give them negative reviews. I was actually super close to act like a Karen and return the food. But of course I didn’t do it. If you have the chance. Please do not go there. Also the meat is not fresh. I got food poisoning! The flavor is disgusting and then they got me food poisoning! Do not go!!!
I don’t normally write reviews but since the owners were so nice I’m making an exception. Food tasted amazing! A friend and I went a tad bit close to closing time but they were very courteous and allowed us to dine! So much better than Bollywood Bistro at UB North. First time trying Chicken Tikka Jhalfraizi and I’m still thinking about it a week later! The Tandoori Chicken was also great and was still steaming when it was served! Garlic Naan is a MUST! Great local place that was a bit hard to find at first when pulling into the parking lot next door but so glad we saw the stand up sign out front and were able to try this place out!
Ordered the chicken korma with naan, it was ready very quickly. the bread was soft and fresh, the chicken korma was good, chicken was cooked nicely, large chunks of white meat...the sauce was very mild tasting, coconut flavor, kinda sweet....very different than indian kormas, i dont believe theres any tomato paste in it. i liked the rice also, it was cooked nicely as well.
Amazing food. My dad and I were walking by and decided to try it out. Excellent chicken tika masala and the n’an is probably the best in Buffalo. The man brought us each a free rice pudding at the end which was very kind and he continually checked up on us to make sure we were enjoying the food.
My husband and I ordered food from Ruchi Bangladeshi Cuisine for the first time today and I wish we did it earlier. It was so delicious. We ordered Shaak Methi Malai Motor, Chicken Korma, Cheese Naan, Rosh Malai, and Laal Mohon. We are definitely planning to be back soon. Highly recommend to give it a try.
Housemate and I tried this place out for the first time and we absolutely loved it! We agreed that this is by far the best Bangladesh/South Asian/Indian cuisine we have had to date in Buffalo. Customer service was excellent as well! Very friendly :) We will absolutely be making this a frequent takeout option moving forward.I cant think of the last time I ever wrote an online review, but Im doing it now. I dont want this place to go away haha
What I love about WNY and Buffalo is it’s openness to diversity and our immigrant community. Just ate at Ruchi (687 Kenmore Ave, Tonowanda, NY) a new restaurant serving authentic Bangladeshi cuisine that opened yesterday and and are having their grand opening. The owners and chefs having operated restaurants in Atlanta and the UK have brought their talents to the Buffalo area and created a fine establishment. Aside from the genuine hospitality I can’t rave enough about the food. I had the opportunity to have a free appetizer and desert as samples courtesy of the owners. I encourage everyone to support them.
I think this was my first Bangladeshi experience and it didn’t disappoint. All the food we had was delicious! We ordered the chicken roganjosh, lamb dhansak and shaak methi malai moto as the mains and each was better than the next. Also, the rice pudding was the best I’ve ever had (and I’m not even normally a fan of rice pudding and I’ve tried my fair share). We ordered enough for at least 6 people and it cost around $50. A value that is hard to find almost anywhere! To top it off the staff was amazing. The owner even threw in some chutneys, chai (also amazing) and an extra dessert. This is absolutely going to be a neighborhood standby for us. We will definitely be back!
If you are roaming around Buffalo and want to try some deshi food or south Asian food then it should be your choice. The price is reasonable with good quantity. We were four people: 2 adults and 2 kids. We ordered 1 chicken tikka, 1 special fried rice, 2 garlic naan, 1 chicken 65. We liked the taste of all the items except chicken 65. It was a bit sour for us. Otherwise the chicken tikka was really good and surprisingly came on a sizzling tray. It was perfectly cooked and full of aroma. Overall I will rate:Chicken tikka - 9/10Garlic naan - 10/10 (both soft and crispy)Chicken 65 - 5/10 (only because the sauce was sour, but my daughter liked it)Special fried rice - 8/10 (it’s not like hakka or Thai rice, it’s a version of Bangladeshi vat vaja with eggs and peas)Note that although it’s a Bangladeshi restaurant, it does not serve authentic Bangladeshi food. But I loved the fact that they are promoting Bangladesh through their name. We surprisingly found that the restaurant has more non-Bengali , non-Asian customers than Bengali/South Asian customers.

2022-03-04I was a bit hesitant about trying this place as I myself am Bengali and no one compares to my own mother’s cooking but WOW this place is amazing!! It was my first time there and I will definitely be back. I got the chicken curry and garlic naan. The food is delicious, hot, and made with love. They are newly opened so be sure to give them a try and support local! 10/10 cuisine!

2021-11-11I loved the fact that they are promoting Bangladeshi cuisine. Food items are very similar in the indian subcontinent but often times bangladeshi owned restaurants only use indian cuisine name brand. The server was very helpful. We ordered vegg samosas and chicken tilla karhai. Food was delicious.

2022-03-18We have ordered from here about 6 or 7 times since they opened. The food is consistently incredible. Somehow the samosas are still crispy and fresh tasting after a night in the fridge. I have been happily eating Indian food from Kenmore/Amherst my whole life, but this is the only time I have ever craved Indian food from a specific place.
