This is a great store for serious runners or novices. the staff has good product knowledge and takes their time to bring out a bunch of shoes and find one that works. They have a lot of closeout shoes and clothing also which is a plus for budget conscious parents.
Just there and the woman was super knowledgeable and got me the greatest pair of insert and shoe combination I could have ever asked for. Definitely will be coming back in the future and highly recommend.

I heard so much about this place, I came all the way from Chicago to get my sneakers here. I was not disappointed. Very attentive staff who know running. They took the time to examine my gait and foot shape in order to select the best shoe for me. Great selection of styles and sizes right there in the store. Highly recommend!
I LOVE this store. The salespeople are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful with finding the perfect shoe. My husband and I have been coming here for a couple of years now. Plus, if you work in the healthcare field, they give you 10% off of your purchase!!

I have been buying running shoes here since high school (12 years ago) and even put off purchases until I travel home to the area for holidays because the selection and staff knowledge are incredible. Rest assured you will be leaving with the perfect shoe which in the case of logging 30-40 miles/week is nothing to mess with. I will continue supporting this business whenever possible.
Family run and they treat you well.If youre looking for serious shoes, they have them all. They will also 》professionally《 fit you with the right shoe. They know which ones are tall or wide or whatever to fit you correctly.They also wont just try and sell you a high profit margin shoe like the big stores. You will get the right shoe for you.Weve been doing there for years. First with my son for cross country shoes and now my daughter for track shoes.There is no other place to go, if you want the right shoes
I have been getting my running shoes here since my cross country days in high school. The variety of footwear is excellent and the customer service is absolutely amazing. The staff are always willing to help you find a shoe that is the perfect fit for your foot.
I am pleased with my experience. I walked in and was looking at the womens running shoes. I young lady asked me if I needed help. I told I was looking to get running shoes; running has become a serious activity for me and its time for serious shoes - not Walmart sneakers that have no support. She had me walk to look at my arch, measured my foot, and looked a few other things. Then she gave me options in shoes! I settled on a pair of Brooks. I am happy there is a running store so close to wear I live!
For a little store they hold a lot. Unlike other stores where the salesmen had to hunt in the back for the shoes you want, these guys are super fast! Very knowledgeable. I told them what brand and style of running shoe I was wearing and because they were discontinued I needed help, big time! They offered suggestions and I tried on 6 pairs and was out the door within 30 minutes. Happy first time customer here! Ask for their texting club for discounts and notice of sales!
I walked into the small shop for their B1G1 free sale. Normally I don’t ask the sales people for help. Though I was offered it multiple times I selected a pair of shoes and began to try them on. The most lovely gentleman you could ever meet by the name of George offered to measure my foot to make sure I was trying on the right size. He then had me walk down the isle and back. Excusing himself to browse the merchandise he came back with a pair of shoes that fit perfectly! It was like some magic trick! I have so much trouble finding shoes that fit me well and George did it in minutes! I couldn’t be more thrilled and this is now my go to store!
I love how helpful they are when trying on sneakers. They measure your feet thoroughly and ask you detailed questions about your type of exercise, any pain you experience, etc. Im a beginner to running, and they were very helpful.
Great knowledgeable staff they pointed me in the right direction for a great pair of shoes. I have a high instep and heel spurs which means I have issues buying shoes that fit properly. I went to the mall and the morons at those shoe stores did not know how to help my situation. Honestly I did not walk out with a pair of shoes because they are pricey that is why I gave them a 4 star review. I did take the information and use it to purchase a pair of shoes that work for me. I was at Runners Roost for the first time today and was quite happy that we went there. This was the only place locally that Tammy could find the sneakers she wanted. Also the VA had told me to either go there or two hooks 4 shoes. I wasnt unhappy with hooks but I was happier with Runners Roost. As a veteran they gave me 10% off on my pair of sneakers and also on Tammys new sneakers..
Great local store. Friendly and helpful. Instead of trying to convince my daughter she needed the most expensive pair of sneakers (like another store had) for track, they had her try on several pairs until she found the perfect fit for her foot and gave her tips on running and caring for her track shoes as well.
Went in for a new pair of running shoes. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful in fitting me for the correct size and type of shoes. They also have every imaginable accessory that can be used for running from socks to watches and rollers. Great place to get started with running.
Heard lots of good things . I am hard to fit so spent time. Had to use a bathroom and they would not let me use theirs. I think much of this was due to covid so I will give them another chance. I want to give them a better review but left aggravated. Amazon was easier
They have fantastic customers service from the moment you walk through the door. Tom took care of us and was patient and answered all questions we had. Some of the shoes were over priced but the sale still helped save $20-30 off comparable prices online with out the wait.
Went in with little knowledge looking for some running sneakers.. I didn’t even know my running style as far as if I needed neutral running sneakers, over-pronated, etc.. they were more than happy to help, and gave me a lot of awesome friendly advice. I didn’t feel any pressure to buy.. will def be back in the future. Thanks again! :)

A great landmark but honestly will not probably go back. Tried explaining to a staff member about an insole I wear. They have the company not the style. Kept insisting it was what I was looking for and that its for plantar fasciitis and runners. Guess my scrubs didnt show off my lifelong muscles from being an NCAA collegiate track n field 400 m contender as well as a daily runner lol. Well he never qualified me as having plantar fasciitis, which I dont, and had to come out and stop him to tell him that. Also didnt ask about my needs, maybe could have sold me something else. Normally I dont care but this stood out in a store thats hyped as runners heaven in WNY.

2022-08-18Staff is very helpful and everyone in the store was taken care of with excellent service. I bought shoes from them years ago that lasted a long time. Went in there recently and bought another pair! Original price was over $200, marked down to $119! Great store!

2022-04-22Wasn’t sure about the fit of my new Hokas I ordered online, so I decided to stop into Runners Roost for the first time! Went in with a group of 6 ladies. Rob provided us with his time & patience as he measured all of our feet, down to finding the pressure points for our specific walking patterns & then showing us each the perfect style & fit of sneaker until we all found something we loved! Great customer service. So pleased.

2021-05-29Bought two pairs of Wide Shoes in store! With shoe companies designing their regular width shoe narrower and narrower, I am glad that I could find wide shoes in this store for my injured tendons and feet!Staff working here is friendly and patient! Would revisit again!

2021-10-12I can’t speak more highly of their customer service. I purchased a pair of sneakers pre-covid for the gym. I have tried wearing them a few times, but they really hurt my feet! I spent a lot of money of them and really didn’t want to give them away. I called runners roost and told them the problems I was having. They said come in and they will figure something out. I didn’t have the box or receipt.They assessed my feet and realized they were the wrong sneakers for me. They put me in a sneaker that is good for my feet issues, and gave me full in store credit. I even have a balance on my account there to use at another time!I was not excepting that at all.They went above and beyond. I appreciate all their help and will always shop here in the future.

2021-05-02I was told to come to this establishment by my podiatrist. The staff was accommodating and not pushy like I expected.The associates were considerate and even let one walk outside to the next storefront to test the shoes. The staff is highly knowledgeable about their sneakers.At the point of purchase, I thought the store would want my email address and such, but not true.I did receive a 10% discount because I was referred by a medical professional.I would highly recommend someone looking for specialty fitness shoes to go to this place.
