Alyssa was perfect! Had really long hair and went for a bob cut. She gave great advice on what would work best for my type of hair and for a low maintenance option. Super professional, honest and patient. Highly recommend her!
Wonderful salon. A friend recommended Jonathan and he does not disappoint. He listens to what I wanted and respects my wishes and I come out of there each time so happy! The staff is courteous and professional and I like going down to Vanderbilt avenue because it’s a happening area. Always a great experience.
Jess is a dream! She’s funny and warm, and listened to all the weird, idiosyncratic ways that I tried to describe how I like hair to look (seaweed?!) and humored me and then… gave me the best cut I’ve had in my adult/post-babies/gray hair life. You won’t be sad, go see her and feel all glam for a minute.
My Gloss treatment with Alyssa was %100! The entire team at the salon has such a warm, calm and enthusiastic presence. So happy I landed here today and am making salon 718 my “forever”hair home.
Its refreshing to have a stylist like Sarah who puts in that extra time & care to make sure you look your best stepping out the salon. Sarah put in extra elbow grease to clean up the dye around my hairline and gave a superb blowout. They can count me in a regular!
Faith is very attentive and talented. I’ve been growing out my hair, and it had been a couple years since I’ve been to Salon718. Faith trimmed and shaped my layers and gave me advice on growing out my hair for donation. My hair looks great and feels healthy!

I was visiting from Toronto for the week and needed a last minute haircut before attending a wedding. I was unfamiliar with the area so I stopped in to Vanderbilt and despite not having an appointment, Mike was able to fit me in and gave me the best haircut I’ve had in years. Such a shame I won’t be able to get it regularly but Mike is very good at what he does and clearly takes pride in his craft.
UPDATE 6/7:The salon kindly offered an adjustment cut appointment with Faith, who was so lovely and patient with my needs and questions. Ive revised my star rating from 3 to 5. Thank you!OLD REVIEW:-------This was my first time at any [salon]718 location, and I have to admit I left feeling a tad disappointed. I understand this might be an outlier and I’d definitely like to give [salon]718 another try some time. But this was my honest experience. Apologies for the long review ahead.Some pros to start off:- Great shampooing experience. Relaxing, attentive, & products smell nice.- Friendly front desk and general staff.- I was definitely happy that I got a non-chatty haircut experience, as I tend to get anxious in the salon chair.Main review ahead…When I came in for my appt, I found out that the stylist I’d booked specifically had called out and that I was appointed a sub… and I only found this out because someone who definitely isn’t Faith approached me at the salon chair and introduced themself as my stylist. I totally understand last minute call-outs happen. But as I’d booked Faith specifically after reading great reviews of her for curly/wavy hair and hair loss, I would have much preferred to learn of this as soon as it had happened, before my appointment. Instead of being put in a slightly awkward situation, where I was asked if I was fine with this or if I wanted to reschedule with Faith… as I already sat in the salon chair.I won’t be naming my stylist, as I don’t want to call them out. But I was looking forward to this and scheduled around it, so I decided to keep my appt - and unfortunately, the haircut experience didn’t quite make up for the initial scheduling hiccup. I started the appt explaining I’d like a style that accentuates my natural hair texture. All they kept telling me was to use curling cream, which I’d told them I do. Fast forward to the end, my hair had had all its texture blown out, with absolutely no texture except loose blowout curls at the ends. I have nothing against silky blowout hair generally, but as I’d asked specifically for natural texture, I was a bit confused.As for the process of the cut – they asked if I wanted to keep some length, and I said yes, as I’d rather be safe than sorry and see how I feel a bit later once I saw the length before potentially cutting a bit more. I did expect to be asked if I was happy w the length before the drying process… but I wasn’t, and as I mentioned, I get anxious in the chair and couldn’t find the right moment to say I wanted a bit more cut off. That’s definitely partially my bad; but in the past, I’ve always been asked. TLDR, I was expecting more of a longer lob, but the cut ended up closer to my starting length.Then for the drying process – the most uncomfortable blow-dry experience I’ve had. Way too hot! I was uncomfortable throughout, but viscerally reacted twice with an involuntary wince, which the stylist noticed and apologized for both times. But the heat level wasn’t actually addressed until my second wince. Has never happened to me in previous blow-dry experiences… but maybe I’ve just been lucky?Again, I have no doubt this is an outlier review. Looking forward to getting Faith’s styling next time!
Went in for a single process, got told I should get a gloss without being told it was an additional $55. I was asked if I wanted a mask put in as well but I didn’t have the time but I bet that would have also been an additional sum of money. I found it to be a quite shady and un transparent way of upselling.I ended up leaving with hair dye stains all over my forehead, curls dry and a complete mess (I came here bc it was supposedly black owned but no one seemed to know how to handle my hair), and my color waaay darker than I wanted. I’m going to have to go home and just redo it myself.People were nice enough but I’m very unhappy with the service and feel awful that I paid so much money for it.
So glad I booked a cut with Jenn. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and at home, like Ive been a client for years. The salon is beautiful and only a ten minute walk from my front door which was a huge plus, but even if I had to travel farther to get there Id make the trek for sure.My hair was super damaged at the ends from coloring my hair back in October to the point where I couldnt brush my hair without mass amount of frizz at the ends. After a recommendation from a friend, I booked the calligraphy cut. The treatment that came with the cut was heavenly and the whole thing left my hair looking softer and fuller than ever, not to mention the calligraphy cut was mesmerizing to watch.I would highly recommend Jenn to anyone looking for a friendly, talented stylist!Thank you also to the woman who washed my hair....Ive never had such a fantastic head massage!10/10 recommend this salon!
I had an awesome haircut with Faith. I came in wondering if my hair was actually wavy, instead of just straight and frizzy. Faith gave me layers to bring out my waves and was the first stylist in my entire life to style my hair curly instead of blowing it out straight. I love my new cut and embracing my waves.
Looked okay at first but when i washed my hair and actually felt it and looked at it closely I realized the cost and travel wasnt worth it. Spent little time on my hair and it looks super choppy and uneven, the back of my head feels like it was unevenly cut . Nothing looks even and the cut was quite expensive then what I am use to for poor quality job.
Aida did an amazing job on my haircut. She was very communicative of what she was going to do, gave great advice, and did the hair style that suited my face shape very nicely.
Faith did an amazing job! She was patient and thorough…we cut off a lot of hair. Will definitely be going back in the future.

I came here to get blonde highlights over my natural black hair. What a mess. Now I have at least 6 different shape of highlights color starting from dark orange - ombré. Horrible work. Also, on their website it’s prized FULL head highlights for $260 with a stylist lever II (which is what I had) but I was changed $300 for only HALF head? Now I feel like I wasted $300+ 20% tip on this horrible work that I’m going to have to go somewhere else’s to fix. What a horrible experience.

Love, love, love!!!!!! Going to Jonathan to get my hair done is always a relaxing and pleasant experience. Jonathan is knowledgeable, professional, attentive and overall exceptional at everything he does. Im very meticulous with who works on my hair but I have no worries with Jonathan and I 1000 percent trust his expertise, his work is exquisite! I cant wait for my next appointment!

Always a great experience. Im pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair. Jonathan does a fantastic job cutting/shaping it, and hes a pro at managing my unruly bangs. The salon staff is very friendly, everyone is masked, and I feel totally safe popping in for a cut with covid still hanging around.

I have been seeing Janine for about a year and... WOW! My hair has never looked better. She understands exactly what I want even when I have a hard time articulating it. Ive had normal cuts and calligraphy cuts with her and am always thrilled with the results. The past few months Ive been getting blonde balayage with her and several people have told me they cant believe its a dye job because it looks so nice and natural! Cant forget to mention her warm and inviting personality on top of her amazing and thorough skillset, I dont want to go to anyone else in NYC. Pictures are from 2 different sessions!
Janine is a sweetheart! And above all a great stylist. She gave me a great cut and a lot of tips on how to maintain it. She listened carefully to my instructions and she paused several times for me to look at her progress and offer feedback. I really enjoyed working with her and will be back to work with her in the future.
Needed a new stylist and came across this salon and Jenn in particular. As a child blonde now with middling brown hair, I try to do a balayage / baby light ever ~6 months to have some dimension but minimal upkeep. Booked a cut and partial color.Experience was excellent. Quick and quality work. Jenn brought her ideas and expertise to advise, but was a great listener and empathetic. Lovely experience.

I’ve been seeing Jenn for 7yrs. Part of the reason I’m hesitant to move out of state is bc I can’t imagine anyone else doing my hair. She does excellent work, is intuitive, and if I go in unsure what I want, I can leave it to her discretion and trust I’ll leave loving my hair.
Highly recommend booking an appointment with Sarah! She really took her time looking at my hair type and had good advice on how to cut it. I am very happy with the result and would book again next time Im in need of a hairdresser in NY. Good price for quality and lovely staff.

I had waited way too long to get a haircut since I moved to the area and Aida got me back to normal with a great new cut. She is excellent at what she does and I will be going back in 4 months for another! Highly recommend.
My 11 yr old daughter has had different colors in her hair over the past year. Her hair was damaged and dry looking going in to the salon and a absolute beautiful transformation leaving the salon. We booked an emergency same day appointment & Were there I think an hour after closing time The staff was great & made us feel at home even though they obviously had to stay past closing to finish her hair. She loves it, I am sooo greatfu.
Had the best experience at this salon with Janine. She gave me a chic calligraphy cut and I left the salon actually LOVING my hair. She took the time to listen and adjusted the haircut as she went along to make sure it was what I wanted. Couldn’t be more thrilled. She is a gem!

Aida helped me to find a wonderful hair style based on my preferences but also added some creative and unique flairs that made the style very special. Arianna was gentle (I have a tender head!) and did not push any service on me. She asked me what I wanted and took time to be sure of what I wanted before proceeding. I got a trim and a wash-and-go that I am still rocking after more than a week, and love more and more each day. Ill be back.
Jonathan listened, asked the right questions, and did an amazing job. I love my haircut! I’ve had some bad haircuts recently and Jonathan asked what I didn’t like and made sure I was happy. He told me how to wash my fine hair so it doesn’t look thin and greasy. He was honest and helpful. His price is also super reasonable.
Although I provided vague answers, my stylist was able to create the perfect look. I literally look 10 years younger.

I had an amazing experience with Jonathan! I used to straighten my hair for the longest time and decided to go naturally curly just 4 months ago. He cut my curly hair beautifully, gave me so much advice on how to style it and did a beautiful job. All the staff was super kind and friendly. Jonathan is so thorough and detailed. I have curly hair, and I typically leave any salon after highlights or a cut looking very poofy/frizzy. I usually don’t get to see how my hair really looks until I go home and style it myself. But this was the BEST curly hair styling experience I’ve ever had. I left the salon feeling so positive and confident with my natural hair, and very satisfied with the color. My hair feels healthy and I feel so so happy!
I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’ve been getting my hair cut and dyed by two other artist for over 7 years. I wanted to find a place closer to home and glad I took a chance with salon718. Not only did my mom’s haircut by Aida come out amazing, but I loved how my hair color came out by Arianna. They are very welcoming, professional and skilled at these salons. I’ve been to the dekalb and Vanderbilt location and left happy every time.
Sarah was professional, friendly, and treated me and my hair with the care it needed after an 18 month lapse in a much-needed clean up of my long locks gone squirrel’s nest. I will be returning, hopefully despite my nature, within the year per her recommendation!

I had the pleasure of having my hair done by the wonderful Jonathan last month and honestly couldn’t of had a better experience, from the moment I stepped in I felt extremely welcome and that he had my best interests at heart! My hair was botched previously by a reputable salon nearby and Jonathan instantly knew what to do and what would work best for me. I wish I had come here in the first place! My experience at salon718 was very positive and I would highly recommend it. It was my first time there and I was nervous after having received several mediocre haircuts recently. I put my trust in Aida and was not disappointed. She was attentive, collaborative, and professional. I typically have mixed luck because I have very thick, wavy hair and some stylists just dont understand what that means on a day-to-day basis! Intuitively, Aida understood what I wanted and did a great job on my hair.The salon itself is lovely - clean, bright, and airy. The other staff was friendly and offered me a cup of tea (though they forgot to bring it to me - oh well). I highly recommend this salon. Ill be back!
I don’t always love getting my hair cut but Janine made the whole process so enjoyable! She also gave me an amazing cut. I am definitely coming back! Everyone at the salon was great and I will be sure to recommend them to my friends. It’s also clear they were taking extra Covid precautions, which I appreciate!
My experience with Juan was fabulous. Since I don’t get my hair colored often (well, ever), he was great at explaining every part of the process.What’s more, we went from my black hair to a silver/grey color. The ‘formula’ for the color came out fantastic!Overall, I had a wonderful first experience at the salon. Highly recommend!

Absolutely obsessed with my cut and color by Jonathan. As someone with very thick curly hair, it’s rare to find a a stylist that knows what they’re doing but Jonathan is it! After just 2 sessions with him I cant imagine being styled by anyone else.

Amazing experience after being away for 1+ yr. All around lovely experience, She covered my grey outgrowth and lightened my frame facing pieces with biolage and toned it all together beautifully. i look like me, but like 20 yrs younger. I am def. going to go back to a recurring 10 wk appointment, Thank you Jenn and the whole staff. Very clean and mindful of safety protocols and welcoming from beginning to end. So happy to be back!

It was my First time getting hair colored but my experience with Jonathan was not how I expected. I saw the reviews online and I went there because they had good reviews. However, I didn’t except that from him. I leave the job to him because I thought he knows what He is doing but I was wrong I can barely see the color after he finished coloring my hair thought because it was night that’s why I couldn’t see the color. Therefore, I left the store without saying anything because before I say something I want to make sure that I am not wrong. So I waited until morning and its still the same I can barely see the color. You can say its not noticeable to people or me. He ruined my hair. now I feel like my original hair was better then this. I feel like I should not have go there. I wish I could post the picture with this, So you can see that. Unfortunately, for me there is no option to do that. I want you to fixed my hair because I can’t go outside with this hair.
Jonathan is a gem of a human and extremely skilled at his craft. I had not had a haircut in over a year due to the pandemic; I have to say that this haircut not only exceeded my expectations, but was the best Ive ever had.
I was very pleased with my haircut taking off a year of quarantine hair. Sarah listened to what I wanted and then made a few suggestions, without imposing her style onto me. Can’t wait for my next haircut!

I had a fantastic experience at 718 Salon in Prospect Heights. Janine was my stylist and was so helpful in guiding me with next steps as I grow out my hair. She cut my hair expertly and I left feeling elated. She is a delight to chat with and gave me great tips for maintenance between cuts! I have a new favorite salon and its around the corner from where I live. The space is also very nicely appointed and clean. The entire staff is genuine and friendly!

Janine did an incredible job on my color and cut. I asked for a very natural looking single process and highlights and she did just that! She’s the first person to finally give me the exact base color I’ve been looking for. I had never had a hair cut with a calligraphy pen and I’m going to have a hard time going back to scissors now. What a great color treatment! I went in for a holiday pop of something, and Alyssa took my everyday style into account, and gave me an unexpected bright glow underneath my normal hair... so when I wear it up, it shimmers. Love it!

She modified the cut to address my issues and gave me tailored advice on how to style and care for my hair at home too achieve best results. A top notch experience!
It is difficult for me to find time to get my hair done, even making an appointment and actually being able to keep it...So, today I was a walk in and figured they wouldn’t have time for me, which they didn’t but but Jenn could tell how bad I wanted my hair done and how excited I was. She found time to fit me in right away!Even though I was making for a stressful very full day for her, she still took the time to listen to what I wanted and she delivered! I am/was a very gold tone blonde and wanted to be much cooler. Jenn quickly full foiled me and and toned my blonde!Jenn was very confidant and shared in my excitement. I didn’t doubt her for a minute and my hair turned out lovely!! Highly recommend her! That being said, while I was processing I was watching other stylists work and only saw friendly service and lovely outcomes!The only slightly negative thing I’d say is that the rinsing bowls/chairs we uncomfortable and my neck hurt the whole time. Pain is beauty? Ha everything else was great!
Honestly my experience was surprisingly amazing. I usually go to salons like John Barrett or Cutler but Ariana was terrific. I love my cut and color. The salon was incredibly clean and careful about protection from Covid (and I am a overly cautious about Covid). I will definitely come back.
This is the third time I’ve seen Jenn and the third time I’ve walked out 100% happy with my hair color.She’s done blonde balayage twice and highlights once, each exactly what I needed at the time.- she listens to what I want but is also able to intuit what I’m not able to describe.- she’s quick. My long, thick hair usually makes for long appointments. Not with Jenn.- most importantly, she is a WIZARD at COVERING GRAY!!! Especially at my temples, and in a way that somehow lasts much longer than any other stylist. I had the hardest time finding a colorist who could blend the color at my temples in a way that really worked, until Jenn.- with both Jenn’s balayage and highlights, the regrowth has been really nice. I never look like I have “roots”...even after MANY months of growth.I’ve been to three of the Salon718 locations and have seen a few stylists. All were great and I love the vibe in every salon. I live less than a block from the Myrtle Ave location, which is full of great energy and stylists, But I will keep trekking over to the Vanderbilt shop to see Jenn.

I was nervous going in the first week they reopened after the shutdown, but everything was clean and well organized while still being completely welcoming and warm.I have type 3b/3c curly hair and wantedto go significantly shorter for the summer. If you have curly hair you know how nerve wracking cuts can be. Jonathon helped me figure out the right length and shape and this is definitely the best haircut I’ve ever had. No more $200 devacurl cuts for me—Salon718 is the way to go.
Janine is a gem! She is professional, yet kind and welcoming. She was honest and gave me realistic expectations on what could be done with my hair, keeping the health of my hair a priority. Women are protective of their hair and she made me felt quite safe trusting her with mine. I practically came to her in crisis mode. I have A LOT of hair and it was literally four different colors when I walked in so needless to say,it needed a lot of work! She was extremely patient and didn’t get overwhelmed with the process.She kept me updated, explained each step the whole way through and answered any questions I had. Went for the first time today and got a full head highlight, cut, and gloss with Janine and it was great. I wasn’t sure what I wanted when I went in, but had some ideas. We talked through the options, maintenance involved, and I wound up cutting off 5+ inches and switching my blonde highlights to a mocha/honey brown. I was at the salon from 1:30-6 and time flew by. Everyone was friendly, booking online was easy, and the price was comparable to salons I’ve gone to in Manhattan and other parts of Brooklyn.

My experience today with faith was amazing! Her conversation was good and she made me very comfortable the entire time. I left out of the salon feeling as if i was in a hair commercial the way my hair was blowing and flowing with the wind. I normally go to Dominican stylists for my regular wash & set, and my hair takes a day to settle from the frizz before i’m able to wear it out. I found salon718 by Googling nearby places because I only had a tiny window of time to get my hair done, and needed a same-day appt. They had a lot of reviews and high rating and I liked the look of the pics so I chose it, and I’m so glad I did! I’m extremely grateful to Jenn for taking one look at my DISASTROUS hair (a growing out pixie with like 3 different box dyes on it and 2 inches of gray roots) and immediately knowing how to fix it. Great cut—not too much off the length but just enough to clean it up—and a perfect brunette shade to correct and cover everything I did to it. I walked out of there a new woman. Highly recommend her and this salon!
My experience with Kai was exceptional! Her professional etiquette made me feel at ease. I went in for a balayage but also needed color correction. During the consultation she really looked closely at my hair to understand my texture and health of my hair. I recently went to Salon 718 needing a trim and a fix for an undercut I was growing out. I also had some damage from previous hair treatments. I have difficult, frizzy hair and its hard for me to find a style that works for me.I felt very welcome when I walked in and they gave me a cup of coffee. The staff was all very friendly.After explaining what I was thinking, my stylist Sachi suggested a style I hadnt even considered: a bit shorter in the back with some layers, to get the back as close as possible to the length of the undercut without having the front be shorter than shoulder-length (which I didnt want). She also gave me lots of advice on how to style my hair at home to reduce frizz. The shampoo/conditioning was also basically a scalp massage which was extremely relaxing. My hair is a much more manageable shape now and I love the haircut.Overall I am very happy with my experience and will return when I need another haircut. Thank you Sachi for your expertise!

They are great, friendly, and are set up with various COVID considerations. There are plexi barriers by the receptionist and between hair washing stations. They are considerate about booking; as there was only one other client in there while I was and she was an appropriate distance from me. I was terrified to get my hair done because I had a horrible, hair damaging experience the last time which was about 5 years ago. I have since bleached my hair into this pretty, healthy, white blonde and hadnt changed it in years. I wanted to go strawberry blonde and took a chance with Jenn. I am SO happy and relieved that my hair came out as beautifully as it did. Jenn listened and understood my fears, she did a beautiful job and was so sweet! I have had compliments on my hair and definitely plan to keep it this way. My only reservation is how much it was. It was definitely more than I really afford so thats a bummer but she did beautiful work.
Totally pleased. This was my first wash, cut and styling @ 718. The proximity to where I live and the numerous RAVE reviews online drew me in. I am pleased to say, I was not disappointed. I stopped in on a Saturday to make an appointment for the following Monday. The shop was full and bustling, the atmosphere cheerful, aesthetically pleasing and welcoming. I described my needs and Samra was assigned. She turned out to be a doll in every way! To find a stylist with Samras first class personal and professional qualities at a salon so close to home gets my new year off to a great start. I will definitely return!

I walked into Salon 718 without a referral. I was new to the neighborhood, long over due for a haircut, and just didnt want to travel cross-borough anymore to get to my old stylist.I took a leap of faith into Karinas chair, and she did not let me down.Im a pretty laid back client but that doesnt mean Im easy to work with. I have a lot of hair with mixed texture so I tend to start a new stylist with a low order, lets just trim the dead ends, take what you need so its healthy. And do some thinning to reduce the weight. She is a cool and confident stylist; she followed my instructions and also checked in when she had a suggestion about adding some shape. Her suggestions were all good. I left feeling beautiful.She also sold me on a moisture mask for once-a-week low maintenance upkeep, a good note for me who clearly just wants an easy beauty regimen. (:Ill be back.

Alyssa had the patience of a saint with my stubborn, wanting to turn forest green hair and turned it into a beautiful flamingo pink. After debating on options for what felt like forever, she had the vision to see through the clouds on what would work best. She is a lifesaver! I came to Janine asking to be an ice queen, and that’s exactly what I got. It took about three to four sessions to go completely icey, but I have long dark brown hair that’s almost black. I did not have a good experience here.Pros:- everyone was very friendly and kindcons:- the $70 haircut that I paid for took less than 10 minutes and I have a lot of hair. there was a lack of attention to detail on how I wanted my hair to be cut and layered; the stylist did not acknowledge what I had asked for. it wasnt a hack job but it definitely wasnt thorough.- I waited about 45 mins to be seen.I wouldnt go back given the amount of time I was waiting and the price to quality of cut ratio.

Karina is my stylist and honestly, shes a magician! When I first went to see her months ago, she immediately diagnosed and fixed my horrible hair texture, color problems. I like this salon, but they do not dedicate all of their time to just you. They have the stylist going between 2 or sometimes 3 customers... You are often sitting waiting for the person to come cut or finish your haircut. They are very nice, but I would like to pay for my stylist to sit and dedicate the time to me and focus on me.

Let me preface this by saying I have been trying to make myself find a salon for 2 years since I moved to NY from the Southwest. I had originally been seeing a hair dresser since I was 14 and I am now 27. I am very specific about my hair as its one of the few things I am confident in. I also dye it, and a lot of people dont know how to dye blonde hair. I finally was at the end of my rope - I needed to be blonde again and I was ready to take the leap when I found salon vanderbilt and jenn. I was more nervous for this than just about anything - jenn took the time to ask me what i wanted explained what i wanted was totally different than my current hair, which i totally appreciate. i understand that some people dont understand what they want, before i had super warm brassy hair i wanted it completely different. she asked me what i liked about the picture i brought in. she just took the extra time, but didnt question what i wanted she just wanted to make sure id be happy with the outcome. ive never felt more confident walking out of a salon and i am looking forward to being a customer for a long time.

2022-08-18I had a great experience with Alyssa as my hair colorist at Salon 718. I came in with blonde highlights and asked for a change to a dark ashy brunette color. She changed it to the exact color I wanted- she nailed it! She was very accommodating and ensured I was completely happy with the end result. Her attention to detail and expertise in hair color is amazing! I would recommend Alyssa to anyone looking to get their hair colored.

2022-03-18Great cut, and like the products they use. Everyone is so nice and affirming! When I was getting my cut, I felt so happy and supported by all the stylists around me. I have fine hair, and usually get a bob. Recommend Adriana - she did a great job!

2022-06-21This was my first haircut in 14 months! I was a little embarrassed about that, but the staff here was so welcoming and warm. I felt so comfortable with Aida and Joe. They’re both kind and gentle. I love Aida’s cheerfulness and sense of humor. The style she cut was perfect! I felt like a new person and will definitely be back on a regular basis. I’d highly recommend her and this salon to anyone!

2022-03-22I lost my favorite stylist years ago due her moving, and since then have been searching for a replacement. I have been to at least 5 others since then. I took yet another chance at someone new, always a nerve wracking experience, and booked with Sarah. She took her time consulting with me, really listened, understood and talked me though possibilities. She understood how to work the texture of my hair which is wavy curly but I like to keep it blown out most of the time. She started the shape with a dry cut then finished it after it was washed and conditioned. She took her time cutting, was **meticulous** and checked in with me during the process. She blew it out and styled it so beautifully, it had just the right volume and natural movement - basically a bob cut that has layers and frames my face - she took into account the shape of my face as well. The shape and style was what I had hoped for and I left feeling very happy and sensual. Before I left, I booked immediately for 6 weeks out because I think I have found my new stylist! If you are looking for someone new, give her try!P.S. Also an as introvert I appreciate that she was friendly yet not an over talker because I loathe small talk and sometimes leave a salon feeling drained just from that LOL.Also, the support staff is great. friendly including the woman who washed my hair did a good job and nice scalp massage. Vibe overall was good. Very clean and professional.

2022-02-10Aida did a wonderful job with a huge mess of curly hair. Very sensitive to what I was looking for and did wonderful work. Its worth noting that my regular stylist , Jen , is also amazing but was unavailable. To be able to get a next day appointment, a new stylist, and know that the results will be great is 💯.

2022-07-30Jonathan was a dream. I have 3C curls and dont trust most folks with my hair. But Jonathan made my feel at ease, instantly. He took time to listen to what I wanted (and what I didnt want) and executed the exact vision. Everyone else in the salon was also so kind and helpful. Overall, a lovely experience and I look forward to coming back.

2022-08-17Loved being helped by Ariana. It was my first time getting my hair colored, and she made me feel so at ease with the entire process. I’ve gotten SO many compliments already. Looking forward to seeing her again soon :)
