Sams Club is 1 of my favorite stores to shop at they have bulk items for great deals
Need items in bulk? Own a business? Then Sams Club may be the place for you. Most of the prices are comparable or cheaper than competitors in the area. Useful for buying some essentials in stock but not items you have never tried or like to change up. Down side for most is the membership costs.
To start with, I need an electric cart to get around with, due to health. 20 minutes after getting a cart, which showed full charge, it completely died. Had to walk, using my cane,for another cart, also showing fully charged. 10 minutes of more shopping, and that battery completely died. Seems that for all the heavy use, these batteries need to be replaced, or the carts replaced. I told my wife that we should just check out, and go elsewhere for the rest of supplies on my list. The main reason for coming to Sams Club was to restock my vitamins and supplements, which the club was out of both that I needed. I have been trying to decide if I just want to stop renewing my membership, and this is what is probably going to happen, drop my membership.
Love this Sams Club. Staff are friendly and is pretty well stocked.

Just a quick trip today. Was able to grab a nice looking brisket for a good price. Always satisfied with the meat prices and selection. Staff was helpful when trying to find products. Cashier fast and friendly.
Fantastic store. Never so busy youd want to avoid it, but busy enough at any time to cement the assertion of its worthiness. Good things. Good people.
Aside from having to search for items because they move them around Ive found very little to dislike about sams club. Its great if you need a full gallon of syrup. Or a 2 pound bag of pork rinds. As I joke to my wife, we have to go in and get a 55 gallon drum of ketchup. Like the place very well.
Way too crowded and getting out was a super long line even with 2 people scanning. Crazy.
We shop there weekly. The food is excellent and prices are OK. We buy there often our last few TVs we could not beat their price.We pay for the upgraded membership if you shop there weekly or do large purchases its worth the initial cost.
Always enjoy shopping at Sams Club. The scan and go app makes is so quick and easy, I find myself going there more often because of that. Great choices and prices. Friendly staff.

It has been over ten years since Ive been here but I was not disappointed. Great prices for bulk items. Very friendly, helpful staff. With Covid-19 going on....all the people I saw in the store were wearing masks, doing their best to stay 6 ft away and if they couldnt, they were polite and said excuse me and thank you. Overall, great experience and hope to continue to shop here when I can.

I couldnt be more impressed with Doug and Liz in the pharmacy in the Elmira store. They were genuine and helpful, guiding me through the process of getting flu and shingles shots. I never told them why this was especially difficult for me to step up and ask for the vaccines, though it was very much something I thought about doing. You see,, my belived spouse died suddenly four months ago, and carrying on when we would have done this together made me feel particularly fragile. But they were wonderful, almost as if they knew. They were personable, shared information easily, and conversed with me as if, at least for that time, I was their one focus. I hope they are apprised of how deeply I appreciated their care. This was our first trip to this Sams Club since the renovation. They have removed the clothing and added more aisles of groceries! Very nice! We purchased several items at greatly discounted prices. We will return next week.
Love the deals. Great way to stock up on everything. Great price on toliet paper and paper towels. Love the deal you can get on clothes. Had a cake made hear and it was delicious. Great meat selection. Also love the furnitures and cool stuff for the holidays. Also can get appliances and also books.
Loved it...found a pair of shorts and a cool book for those warm summer nights out under the old oak tree.
Sams has good sales on items that we use a lot of. The staff is always friendly and helpful! Love the soft pretzels too! Fresh and hot!
Store seemed clean, employees were very helpful! Ppl were really good about maintaining distance. We used the scan & go App feature and absolutely LOVED it! 2nd time using this feature and during this pandemic it has made me much more comfortable shopping at a big box store! Thank you to the developers of that! I wish some of the other stores had that!

Terrible! They need new electric carts or new batteries for the electric carts they have. My aunt and I each had one and they both kept dying. We backed up to poles to plug them in until they flashed showing they are fully charged . Each time we get about 6 or 8 minutes of mobility and they died again! First it was her cart. Then it was hers again. Then it was my cart and my cart again! We had to give up . We left without several items we specifically came there for. Just had to check out with the few things we had in our carts and get out of there as soon as we could limp ever-dying carts to the front register lines. I hope Sams get new carts or repairs the ones they have. I am physically totally and permanently disabled and my aunt is also with COPD on top of it. Im sure there are plenty of people out there who really need decent mobility shopping carts at Sams.
Our go to Sam’s Club location. Store is clean, lots of selection and their food court is great. Love the Pizza Pretzel in this location!

I love the Sams Club in Elmira NY! This is the best Sams Ive been in! The store is clean and they are polite, helpful and will actually cut your meat for you! Absolutely wonderful shopping experience!

Do not shop with them. I placed an order online with a scheduled pick up. My credit card was charged and they sold the item to someone else. When I called about my order being cancelled the excuse was that they cannot tell someone checking out that the item was already sold and take it out of their cart. But you can charge me for the item and sell it to someone else and then blame it on the system. Horrible customer service.
Sams was a very pleasant shopping experience. Workers were very helpful when they were asked if they had an item. Had everything I wanted except rubbing alcohol. And thats understandable with whats going on.

Not horrible. Not as great as it used to be. But these days not many places are. But they have more and better prices when it comes to quantities and quality!
Awful customer service all round in this store. Nearly everyone from ass Mgr to the floor has a chip on their shoulder and better things to do than put customers first. Cheap yes, but that doesnt have to include rudeness to those people who create the reason for your jobs. Products also come and go, so dont expect consistency of product line in this store. Overall its a very unpleasant experience shopping here, so if you have an alternate, take it.
Sam club just finished resetting their store so be prepared to spend a little extra time finding things... Otherwise its always very clean and the staff is super helpful...Food court is open for take out only.
Found several items we wanted but didnt have a membership and were told there was no temp membership. We were not offered to purchase a regular membership. So we left empty handed and disappointed.
Always a great place to shop. Just be prepared to buy large quantities of one thing.

Lunch was ok. Ordered pepperoni pizza got cheese. Still good. Store is ok but why do they need 3 people per checkout lane to help you? Open more lanes instead.
Pretty busy!!! Lots of folks out stocking up. Usually find all we need, but could not find the large jar of pickle relish. Maybe tomorrow eve. How about a large jar if DILL PICKLE RELISH as well???
Like most stores of this type dont always have what was there before. Other than that very good. Like the self check outs the best.

This place disgusts me! Show up from two plus hours away a few minutes late for an appointment and they turn you away and scold you like a five year old. I will not be returning hence my horrible experience and absolute trash customer service. Thank you to the employees that leave twenty minutes before they’re supposed to so I spend three plus hours of my time in the car for absolutely nothing.
The self-checkout lanes make the process go more quickly, even though I miss seeing my usual cashier. Today I purchased tax software and an employee was there right away to exchange the empty box for the real product, no having to flag anyone down.
Friendly staff. Fresh fruit. Gift cards look like theyve been pared down. Didnt find what I was looking for. Overall, it was fine.

Its Sams! Get a pizza special while they put on your tires. Push around the oversized carts and fill it with gallon jars of peanut butter and have a few samples of food you werent going to buy anyway. Its an American staple
Our local warehouse store. This is the place to shop if youre looking to buy a lot of a few items. They have a good selection of cheeses and meats. Saturday and Sunday are always good days to shop and pick up a free sample or two.
Plenty of stock. Prices up a bit but still lower then the rest. Great staff, helpful and polite.
Probably not renewing after 3 decades. Better prices at Wal-Mart these days. Sad...

I love Sams Club and what they offer, but I dont like one thing!! If you use a Visa Debit Card with a chip in it from your bank, you CANT use it as Credit, even though you push the Credit Button!! You sign for your purchase & they make you THINK your paying by Credit. Look at you receipt....it rings you out as VISA DEBIT....without using your Pin #. More and more does are doing the same thing, from the Dollar Stores to Wal-Mart & Michaels!!!!
Not good... no help from anyone to find anything.. I asked a worker where to find peanuts in the shell and was told to go straight ahead and then to the back... well, what aisle? I left without buying anything.. why on earth cant you give people a map of the store so that you can find things.. I spend all my time looking for things and then give up and go home without getting anything.. No help...

Its a typical Sams club. Lots of self checkouts so there is basically never a line. They do need to get rid of the receipt people on the way out though. It shouldnt take longer to get out the door than it does checking out.

I want to personally thank Sam’s Club for their generous donation to a fundraiser for a single dad who has cancer. I went to Sam’s Club seeking a donation for Mark Lisi a truck driver for the local food bank in Elmira. Mark is a single dad with a 14 year old son . Mark was recently diagnosed with cancer in his tongue, tonsils, and lymph nodes and was told it’s inoperable. Without any hesitation ; I was told they would help me raise money for him by giving me a gift card to raffle off at a fundraiser for him. Thank you for your donation once again. I have gone for 2 weeks for Scotts toilet paper and none. Most paper products are gone. I am not holding, just doing normal shopping. Finding it frustrating.
This store is the only reason I regret not being named Sam. Handily I have friends named Sam and I can capitalize on the volume discounts. And you may think I can lie and say my name is Sam! You would be wrong. They check your license.

2021-08-09Everytime I get something I really enjoy from here, they discontinue it. Great place for seasonal items or really common items but not specialty. I order meat in bulk from here. The meat is usually always decent priced and good quality. Its always packed. The only time you can get in and out is early morning or late night.

2022-06-07WE ARE COSTCO PEOPLE NOW 100%! We moved and they took the liberty of auto renewing my membership when I specifically asked not to do that. Now its up to me to call all over wal mart and samsclub to figure out how to get a refund. Imagine how many people dont call and they profit from ridiculous pathetic company

2022-03-18Store is well keep and clean/ I love shopping here but this store has a MAJOR customer service issue. When you have someone ask you for help to move something that is 190lbs at customer service // it takes them 30 min to get someone to help you, then after you FINALLY get someone to help they load into the cart and walk away. But thankfully there are good employees out collecting Cart that saw someone struggling and helped out. even he was appalled that the first set of people didnt help out at all. Managers!! 2022-02-10Had a great experience today at Sams in Big Flats. As a caregiver for my 90 yo Mom I had stocked up on disposable panties and wash clothes. She is going to LTC so I didnt know what to do with all. I made a call to Sams and they said they would gladly take them back. So I loaded them all up and returned them, and the fact I used my Sams Credit Card to buy them was a bonus, I didnt have to find receipts for them. They just had to look back to find when I had bought them. Thank You Sams Club!!

2021-12-04So, my husband and I volunteer at our church every week, and in return, were given gift cards to thank us. We always save them up to use at Christmas, and this year, our dryer needs to be replaced. So we want to use the gift cards to pay for the dryer. We were told that because we have so many of them, there is NO POSSIBLE WAY to use all of them on that one transaction. We have a large family and NO dryer. It seems as though because Sams Club already has the money for the gift cards, theyre not concerned about helping us use them in the way we need to. This is seriously causing us to question whether we should still do business with you. Were faithful customers who spend hundreds of dollars every month at your store. But maybe that money would be better spent elsewhere if thats how you treat your customers.

2017-10-20Sams Club offers a variety of products, from furniture to milk at affordable prices. The return policy is excellent. The food court has pizza, hot dog, sundae, fountain drinks. They also sell a variety of salads

2021-11-17Twas a good visit. The trolls left me alone this time, even without my magic beads! I thought Id have to run back home to get them. I went with my mother so I had an extra person to protect. We got what we needed and left asap! I suggest you do the same, PLEASE!
