Wonderful DJ/wedding planning/photobooth!We got married on 9/1/2019 in Lockport, NY. We live in Boston, MA, and Showcase was great with a long distance Bride! Lisa put me at ease from our first phone call. She is incredibly on top of everything- not just the music and the photo booth, but all of the tiny details that make a wedding run smoothly. She was always there to answer any questions I had, and the online planning system really helped me clarify our vision for the evening. We met all of their wonderful DJs at a selection event, but we loved Lisas energy and enthusiasm and stuck with her. The planning meeting was great- it was awesome and comforting to know that Lisa would help control the timeline of the evening and that she is really in tune with the energy of the crowd. The actual event was perfect- Lisa/Showcase did the sound for our ceremony, a photo booth, and did the music and emceed the event. I loved the music throughout the evening and that she made sure to play our special requests (not many families love the chicken dance like mine does, but it was my grandmothers favorite). We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend them!
Lisa was fantastic. She was very responsive, helped us through the whole process, and on the wedding day was flawless. Showcase handled our ceremony music, up-lighting (which was jaw-dropping), hosted an amazing photo booth that comes with your own personal booklet at the end of the night, and did a great job with as DJ for the evening. The sound was perfect and the volume was perfect (you could still have a conversation with the music playing). During the wedding day, Lisa was directly involved in making sure the day was going great and worked with our wedding coordinator to help keep the day on schedule. We would recommend them in a heartbeat.
My experience with showcase sound was AMAZING!! The whole process from the beginning was so smooth. Firstly, you get to meet all the different DJs in their company to see who suites your personality. Me and my fiance went with Lisa and it was the most amazing decision ever!! She was so incredibly organized and amazing. She took requests from my guests, while also following the suggestions we talked about beforehand. I literally cannot say enough good things about this company, and especially Lisa!!
Lisas organization, professionalism, and timely communication were outstanding - it made planning from out of town so easy and such a pleasure for us. Our DJ Caseys music selection matched exactly what we wanted and his communication throughout the night with us was great. Our guests all had a wonderful time dancing, as did we!
Lisa was amazing throughout the whole process. We live quite a way away, though the wedding was in Rochester, and she was very willing to work with us despite the distance. She matched us up with a very fun, responsive and talented DJ. He asked questions and really listened to what we wanted for our reception. He was a lot of fun and our guests had an amazing time. The photo booth was super fun, too, and the attendant for it was sweet and did a great job. I cannot say enough great things about Showcase Sound. They really made our reception perfect! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or an event that would need a DJ!
Showcase Sound did a lovely job with our wedding. Lisa really helped make both our ceremony and reception exactly what we wanted. When we first met Lisa, she took the time to get to know us and asked how we met and what we love about each other and asked about our vision for the wedding. Over the next several months of planning she would check in and ask if we needed any assistance with the online forms to help tailor our wedding. We expressed to her that we wanted a ceremony full of love and a reception full of fun. We wanted to incorporate many personal songs into our ceremony and into the night of dancing and Lisa was able to do it with ease. She really captured the mix of music that was just perfect for our setting, our guests, and for our theme of All You Need is Love. She played the polka for my parents and even made sure we could have an obscure version of a popular song played at our ceremony. She was easy to work with and took all of our thoughts and ideas into consideration. Showcase Sound kept everyone on their feet all night and were wonderful at keeping everything organized and well timed. They know how to lead a large scale event, yet keep at bay and let everyone have their time in their spotlights.
We hired Showcase Sound for our wedding DJ, and had a great experience. Our DJ, Travis, and assistant/mixer, Alvin, were both great. We asked them to keep the dance floor packed and make it a party, and they definitely delivered. The music was spot on, and everyone had a ton of fun. They also did a great job working with the venues coordinator to manage all the little details behind the scenes so we didnt have to deal with anything. We definitely recommend Showcase Sound for your wedding.
Lisa was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. Then on the day of the wedding she and her assistant provided exactly the services we had discussed. She kept the timeline we needed and she kept the music playing that we enjoyed even when we couldnt be on the dance floor, never once did we think ugh why are they playing this song. And we only gave a general sketch of our music tastes, we didnt really have many must plays on our music list. Our guests looked as though they enjoyed themselves too. They are complete professionals and are extremely helpful as they do this every day and I only will plan a wedding once!
We had Erik for our wedding and he was great! He played what we wanted and made sure we heard everything we wanted before the night ended. He came out on the dance floor with us and kept all of our guests up and going for the whole night.Lisa, the owner, was super responsive during the planning process making it easy to contact her throughout the day and make any last minute changes leading up to our wedding.
So happy with chose Showcase for our wedding DJ, photo booth and up lighting! Lisa is such a wonderful person to work with, every time I spoke with her I felt as if I was the most important bride that she was working with. They offer a DJ selection night where you can meet with all possible DJs for your event choose the one that you would prefer for your night. We choose Jason and could not be happier with our choice! He did a great job incorporating the songs we wanted to hear, the requests from our guests and what the party needed to keep energy high. The up lighting was a great addition to our night and added to the party atmosphere. The photo booth was perfect, the provide a photo booth attendant to stay at the booth throughout the night to ensure that everyone gets a chance to take pictures and at the end of the night we got a scrap book where our guests wrote notes to us besides their pictures and we got a flash drive with all the pictures on them!
We worked with Lisa and she was fabulous! We wanted our guests on the dance floor all night, and her music selection definitely helped that happen! We had a great experience with Showcase Sounds and would recommend them to anyone:)
After going to a wedding with showcase sound I knew I would most likely book them for my wedding Dj and photo booth. After learning how cost affective they are I knew I couldnt say no. After meeting with Lisa to go over the ins and outs for our wedding I knew I was in capable hands. She introduced us to the online song organizer and I used that to the max. Apparently too much. Closer to the wedding I was told to trim down the songs on my must play and maybe play list. For this reason I give them 4 stars. I feel that as the bride, I should be more in control of what should be playing. At the Dj selection we fell in love with Eric and I knew he would be able to give us the party atmosphere we wanted. He was upbeat, excited, and fun. I am very organized so when we meet with him before the wedding to go over the details the meeting was efficient and we ironed out all the small details. At this meeting I had thought I made it clear what types of music I had wanted ie limited country, some pop punk, lots of female pop, and lots of party songs. I didnt want too many slow jams or music to play to the older generation. I stressed that I didnt want him to play to the crowd but instead start the party so the crowd joins. On the day of the wedding, Eric helped keep us on time and organized since we didnt have a day of coordinator (I regret not getting one). As the night went on I do wish he played more party and dance songs earlier. My sister told me after the wedding she made a request to stop playing the slow/older tunes and start playing the dance, party songs. I was too busy to notice but I do remember the dancing part of the wedding didnt start until much later which I would have wanted earlier. The photo booth was a huge hit and I couldnt have been happier. My guests loved it! If I could give 4.5 starts I would. Overall, I am very happy with my selection of DJ team and would recommend them to any of my friends or family.
We used Showcase Sound for our wedding at Heron Hill and had an amazing experience. Our DJ, Casey played awesome music and knew how to read the crowd. From the start, Showcase Sound was pleasant to work with and was prompt with all communication and were up front about all of their costs.I HIGHLY recommend Showcase Sound!
Showcase did my daughters Bat Mitzvah and they were amazing!! Everyone raved about how great the music selection was. They kept the kids busy and the adults happy. The mirror photo booth was a huge hit!I highly recommend Showcase Sound for your Mitzvah or wedding. You will not be disappointed!!
Lisa and team were amazing! She was able to accommodate every request we had even the hard to find family classics. Working with Lisa throughout the process was excellent. She was professional, courteous and just overall a great person to deal with. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a DJ/photo booth package.
We worked with Lisa as our DJ for the event. She was exceptionally organized, friendly, and responsive. She made us feel at-ease amidst the stress of planning a wedding and she understood exactly what we wanted for our day!
I have worked with Showcase sound on countless weddings and events. As an event planner, they are my go to DJ company! With this, I have worked with many of their DJs and every single one of them has delivered amazing service and created the type of enviorment my clients are looking for. Not only does Lisa, Ben, and the whole Showcase team do a phenomenal job during the event, but they also are a pleasure working with leading up to the event. Lisa always answers my calls and emails in a timly manner, they have a fabulous online portal for clients to work through what type of music they like, and their pricing is the best value I have seen in Rochester. Dont think twice, just book Showcase!
Overall, it was a subpar experience. Lisa was incredibly flexible and helpful however the DJ’s on our wedding day were tragic. Music cut in and out several times, there were points of awkward silence while everyone was on the dance floor waiting for the DJ’s to pull their act together, and they ruined the father/daughter dance. Butterfly kisses was the requested song for the dance and they put a remixed version of the song on that included Ice Ice Baby. Can’t make this up. DJ had the nerve to say that’s what we requested. Total lie right to my face. It was an embarrassment and unfortunately it’s a special moment that my wife and father in law will never get back.
My DJ that I had originally got sick so Lisa had to switch my DJ to someone else. The guy I had played the wrong music for my walk down the aisle song. Some of the songs I had on my requested list, they didnt even have when I asked them to play it during my reception. I asked for a very involved and fun DJ. The guy I had was not very involved and was very quiet. Didnt have any humor and did not try to get people dancing. For the ceremony I received $100 refund for the mistake. I feel my song walking down the aisle was the most important part of the wedding. Not impressed with the service and I had to argue with the owner to get a refund back. To me thats bad business. I shouldnt of had to explain myself. My guests were not impressed with the DJ as well.
Lisa and Phil met, and exceeded, all of our expectations. We really appreciated the fact that they kept us on track, but at the same time didnt rush us. All week our guests have been telling us how much fun they had at the reception. My wife and I will recommend showcase sound to everyone.
They did a great job and provided excellent service. Appreciate that they included opportunity for a photo booth. And the best is that the organizer got an electronic copy of all the pictures at the end so they can share them.
I can’t say enough great things about Showcase sound. As a whole, they are an amazing company and team. From the very beginning Lisa was a pleasure to work with, whether we were having a quick phone conversation or meeting in person. They conduct business is a truly professional and pleasant way that you just can’t find anywhere else in any field.I can say with 100% certainty that my wedding was perfect because of showcase sound. They were an integral part of my wedding day.Will and Miles were selected to be the DJs at our wedding reception. From the very beginning of the night Will was around making sure that introductions went smoothly. Throughout the rest of the night every selection that they made was a perfect one. I had a lot of specifics on my Do Not Play list, and they stuck by me through every one even when they were offered a cash bribe! Anytime someone requested something that I was unsure of Will and Miles checked with me first. I can’t explain what a great and reassuring feeling this was. As the night went on and I loosened up I began to give the ‘Okay’ on songs that I originally didn’t want played, so Will and Miles being completely on the same page with me said they would only play a portion of the song or change it if the crowd didn’t have a good response to it. I LOVED that. They completely stayed in tune with me all night.At one point, I looked over to see the two of them jumping up and down at their station and having just as much fun as me and my guests. I wasn’t the only one who noticed and have had guests tell me how awesome they thought it was to see that.At one point, my night took a very bad turn when a group of people attempted to crash my reception. I was horrified, crying in the lobby and about to call it a night when Will and Miles got me back on the dance floor. They knew exactly what to do and what to play to put a smile back on my face. When I look back on my wedding day, I won’t remember that intrusion, but I will always remember the last song of the night and how happy I was in that moment. I can’t put into words how much it meant to me to have them there as our DJs. Showcase Sound, Will, and Miles saved my wedding night and I will forever be grateful to them.
I’ve thought long and hard about posting this review because I do not like the idea tarnishing the reputation and livelihood for someone. However, it’s been almost a month since my wedding and I can’t get over the experience. My husband has already shared his review but I felt it necessary to share my side as well. I have many poor comments regarding the work of the djs but What sticks out the most Is my father daughter dance. About a minute into butterfly kisses, ice ice baby began to play followed my the cotton eye joe and then silence. I will never be able to get back that moment and unfortunately when I think about my wedding I replay it in my head.It was stated that the djs have since been let go and I hope for any future brides this mistake does not happen. It was also unfortunate that it took my husband writing a bad review to receive a phone call from the owner.
We hired Showcase Sound for our wedding, and are sooo happy with that decision. They were by far the most reasonably priced DJs in the area, and were surprised to find out that all packages came with two DJs. Mike H. and Keshawn K. were amazing, they kept our guests happy and dancing. They kept the crowd pumped without being intrusive/obnoxious. At the end of the night, our guests chanted One more song, one more song!, and Mike and Keshawn obliged. Hearing my guests beg for one more song after a 7 hour party was my (2nd) favorite part of the day!
We cannot thank you all enough for such a WONDERFUL night! The party was epic, the energy never subsided, and everyone who came had a blast!! This team has a talent for reading the room and ensuring a good time is had by all. Thank you for making our children’s B’nei Mitzvah celebration so incredibly memorable!

2022-06-30Having a dj who knows how to keep the party going is critical and can truly make or break a wedding—which is why I’m so glad we chose Showcase Sound. From the very beginning, they were the most prompt company to respond to my inquiries which was an excellent sign of their professionalism. At our first meeting, we knew immediately that Lisa was right for us. She was attentive, organized, and most importantly, she got our vibe right away. We knew we could count on her to deliver the party we were looking for, and she did not disappoint! The number one thing we wanted our wedding to be was “fun” and she came through with a perfect mix of music to keep people dancing all night. I would highly recommend Lisa and Showcase Sound to anyone!

2022-06-24We made a last minute decision and rented a photo booth for our wedding. Best decision EVER! Showcase Sound did an AMAZING job. They supplied fun props and made the night extra fun and special! The attendant was very helpful and personable with the guests! I would highly recommend them for your events!

2022-01-09We had a photo booth for our wedding from Showcase Sound and they were wonderful! Nessee pinnock was the staff assigned for our evening and her attitude and was so sweet and friendly. We had a nearly constant stream of people using the Photo Booth. The co-owner, Lisa, talked with us a handful of times before booking making it a very comfortable process and person centered. We have yet to go through the photos from the photo booth from and cant wait!

Showcase sound is the best in the business and were our first pick after chatting with everyone- we had the most incredible magical ceremony (perfectly timed songs for each group) and then the best reception party! Lisa kept the timeline rolling smoothly even with all the beautiful chaos that came in, and we couldnt ask for a more professional, talented, or communicative DJ. Lisa had a couple meetings with us ahead of time to work out all our details and personal preferences and landed them perfectly. One unique thing is the music was so loud and intoxicating almost our whole wedding danced all night but for those few who couldnt or didnt - it wasnt so loud that you couldnt easily carry on a conversation in the background (and I had no trouble speaking with guests) which I havent experienced at other weddings which seem to either be so loud youre shouting or the music isnt loud enough to draw everyone to the dance floor. The Showcase Sound portal is really customizable and easy to use. Also, definitely do the photobooth option- its well priced and gave us a digital copy at the end of the night night showing all our guests as well as two cute print outs customized with our wedding colors, theme, and info (one for the guest and one for our photo guest book). Everyone loved the photo booth and it was used non stop- we especially loved having photos of and with guests that we werent able to take with our professional photographers just due to the number of guests and how quickly the night passes. I recommend booking early while they still have availability!

2018-02-09I cant tell you how much I love Showcase Sound! They were truly incredible to work with! They are very easy to get in contact with and they make sure to go over all the little details you could have forgotten before your big day.Our DJ was awesome and we all just clicked! His music selection was great and everyone danced until the lights turned on. We also used their photo booth which was a total hit! Everyone loved it!Thank you so much again!

2019-11-04Cannot say enough good things about working with Showcase sound for my wedding this past weekend. Lisa helped plan our wedding and was so responsive and helpful during the planning process. Luis our DJ did an amazing job keeping the dance floor going and picking the perfect songs for the crowd. He also did an amazing job incorporating requests guests had throughout the night. 2019-10-05We had a wonderful experience from start to end of our wedding with Showcase Sound. We knew from the start that we wanted Lisa to be our DJ, and thank goodness we were lucky that she was available last night. Superb job from start to finish. We had no idea what we were doing since we dont listen to top 40 hits or anything like that, but Lisa knew exactly what we wanted her to play for us. She played exactly the songs we asked for throughout the night, including some of her own choices that fit in beautifully. Our friends and family really enjoyed themselves and loved Lisa. 100% recommend, would hire again.Lisa helped us schedule our entire day. Everything happened on time and went off without a hitch (except for the two of us getting hitched ;) ).My brother was so impressed that he is going to book Showcase Sound for his wedding next year. 2020-10-19Lisa and Erik were amazing!! Lisa was fantastic to work with throughout the entire process! She responded to all of our emails within hours and was on top of EVERYTHING! Even in the middle of COVID, Erik made sure our reception was a party! Every song he played was even better than the last and we never stopped dancing! There was nothing but compliments from all our guests. I can not recommend them enough!

2019-06-10Lisa and Showcase Sound made our wedding the best day of our lives. She listened to our likes/dislikes, was the perfect amount of involved, and kept the party going all night. She was prepared for our meetings and made the ceremony run extremely smooth. She even let us use a custom prop for the photo booth, which was a hit and gave us even more memories of the night! The online portal for adding songs and organizing the day was extremely user friendly and helpful. My bride even emailed Lisa the night before to ask if she could play a newer song that just came out and sure enough we were out there dancing to it the night of our wedding :) I cannot speak higher of this amazing wedding vendor. They are the best in the business in my opinion, and I am so thankful for Lisa!
