Before the game this place is jumping..good music and lots of room..
Stans is my favorite spot to grab a drink before a Yankee Game. Staff is responsive, music is great and a manageable volume compared to Billys. The only problem (which isnt Stans fault) is it will make you think if how much the greatest team in American sports history has fallen from grace, and how much Brian Cashman has ruined your life (if youre indeed a Yankee fan). Once Cashman is fired, this will be an even greater place to celebrate this once great franchise.
I love Stans, much better than some of the surrounding area bars that can seem like frat house parties. Not over priced and in the summer all the doors and windows are open to make it an open airy experience
Cool place, food was good, especially the wings. Super busy on game days. Music is way too loud though. You can barely speak to the person across the table from you.

Amazing!! oh I had the best time there.. The drinks are great and the vibe is great. The hostess was extremely attentive to us, and the bartender was top notch. I will definitely be back. My friend and u had the absolute best time ever. A great spot with great music good drinks, and a great vibe.
Stans Sports Bar is the place to go after a game to celebrate a Yankees victory! Its a casual, baseball-loving bar with good music and a rowdy, anything-goes crowd. I heard many of the staff are also off-duty FDNY making an extra buck. Tip generously!

Once again....the only place to stop before the Yankee Game. Brought my friend Frank down from Syracuse....not surprised he loved it. Owner is a friendly x tender that does a great job and always get a nod hello amongst the controlled chaos....cold beer great songs win or lose after the game too...
A must for any Yankee fan. The atmosphere is incredible after a game and the drinks are very reasonably priced. They even cell cider which Ive had trouble finding at bars. I look forward to going back

The bar is so nice nveniently placed, that its hard to choose another spot to go to. The vibe inside is also super cool. Good people, friendly staff, and all Yankees everything.
If you dont mind crowds, its a fun place to drink before or after Yankees games. They do a great job staffing the place so even if its crowded you dont have to wait long for a beer.

We came to this restaurant for a meeting. my friend recommended this restaurant. Well, it was very successful. The crew were very polite and we felt excellent. The meal was great. We had a great time and we will visit this place again. Highly recommended.
Legendary Yankees bar across the street from the stadium we saw the Yankees clinch the 2019 AL pennant and headed over to party all night long as we listened to Frank Sinatra sing New York over and over again!
Been going to Stans before the Yankee games for years before my son was born just last week he and I had our first beer before the wildcard game. Over 25 years I have enjoyed Stans and hopefully for another 25!
A must stop when going to a New York Yankee game...especially after a win. Does get crowed after a game but a good time. Good place to hang while the subway clears.
Dirty and smells however it’s great for pregames for yankees games. It’s at a cornered off section so no cars drive through and gets crowded very fast. Many openings so it’s easy to get inside.
This is a quintessential GameDay experience. Dont go because its a good place to go. Go to join the maddening throng.
If you are looking for cheaper beer and food before heading to a game come here. If you are looking for a culinary experience go elsewhere. It is a fun atmosphere except the noise level is unbearable at times.

To the new Yankee Stadium and to what lies in what once was the shadows of the real house that Ruth built, Stans Sports bar. With the roar of the train above and the smell of peanuts, pretzels and hot dogs in the air as you walk closer you can hear the chants of Lets Go Yankees from the bar. Stans is an indoor bar with an outdoor on the street feel. There are no doors or windows to stop the flow of energy from the street to the bar and vice-verse.If what your looking for is wall to wall to Yankee fans, then there is no place like Stans. Always packed to capacity with fans watching one of 12 T.V.s, snapping pictures of famous Yankee caricatured on the walls or trying to guess the name of hundreds of pictures of ballplayers and ball parks on the bar top. Love the renovated Stans! Used to prefer Ballpark Lanes to some of the other bars after games, but with the Lanes gone the new Stans is a great fill in.
Clean sports bar right under the train a block away from Yankee Stadium frequented by both Yankees fans and visiting team fans alike. Beers are pricey but the food options are cheap. For a 1pm game, arrive before 11 to grab a booth or table.

2022-05-21Was just going to stop in and apparently even though the lights were on and the door was wide open with music playing they were closed. And instead of just saying hey were closed, the guy in the door with cigarettes hanging from his mouth starts acting like he wants to fight. So much for convincing my out of town fiancé that the Bronx isn’t really that bad.

2019-07-22It’s the legendary pregame bar to go to before during or after Yankees games. I like the wraparound bar getting a drink is usually quick. It ain’t cheap but hey you need some drinks before you go into the stadium. Some cool decor it’s also open air which is nice.
