Stoneworks in other cities:
We had a great experience with Stoneworks for the granite for our outdoor kitchen! From the first day, Eric and Danielle were fantastic! The store stayed in constant contact with us regarding templating over the three months it took our contractor to get started on the kitchen. From the templater, to Frank, the installer, everyone we dealt with was extremely professional and courteous! Eric and Danielle worked with us on getting our granite installed a Friday before we were entertaining that Saturday. We had granite installed within 7 business day after the template! We would definitely use them again for another project!
If I could give 0 stars I would! After a LONG wait counters were finally templated in early July. I call every few weeks to find out the status because out kitchen is literally on hold due to these counters! I have heard from employees when I call that my counters werent ordered until August 1st, then there was a flood in the warehouse and my project is delayed indefinitely. The customer service people have been honest. The manager has lied to me every time I call.It is not September and I have no counters and no idea when they may come. I am cancelling my order and taking my business elsewhere!
I am an interior designer who flips houses. I had a hard deadline on a job and went to Stoneworks specifically requesting materials in stock and available immediately. I selected a material, gave my deposit and a week later they called to say that material wasn’t in stock. My consolation me was a comparable product that cost me almost a $400 price more. Bait and switch. (They should have given it to me for the price in my contract as they were at fault for misleading me—not to mention they refused to offer a designer which is generally unheard of for someone who has multiple projects). Due to my deadline I had to accept the up-charge and, pay in full before install. They were quick to measure but measured the template completely wrong so when they came to install the countertop it didn’t fit. They wasted my day. They quickly found a replacement slab, but when they installed it their vertical seem was sloppy on the countertop edge was sloppy and they gouged multiple holes and scrapes in my newly painted sheetrock. When I called for a credit for the damage they they refused to credit me. They don’t cover damage done by their workers, “it’s in the agreement you signed” So buyer beware. I would recommend using another stone dealer who cares about the quality of their work and the integrity of their business relationships.
June 18,2021The time was very quick from beginning to end. When I walked in Eric took us around and explained and pointed out things other places didnt. once we picked our granite and template was done turn around for us was about a week. When Frank C and Travis came they were very professional and cleaned up after they finished and answered all questions and provided things we need to know in order to keep our granite clean and looking new. Im elated with Stoneworks and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks!
Great work. The office called and scheduled the measuring date and less than 2 weeks later they called to schedule the install. Installation crew showed up on time and did a great job. Very clean and neat. Crew and crew leader were very communicative and polite. We would definitely recommend and use Stoneworks again!
I have been working with this ‘company’ and Home Depot since March 8, 2021. Between Home Depot and this company, I spoke with Carlina, Katelynn, Lori, Nicole, Sandy and manymore-ensuring that my counter would be templated on a weekend in April and installed within two weeks because of all the trouble I’ve had (them losing my order, customer service calling the wrong number repeatedly, saying they called when they never did), etc). They took months to even do a template, finally had one done in May-was told they would be here by 4:00 and came at 6:30. Never heard another word…got a call from Home Depot today (6/21/21) saying that Stoneworks is now ‘short on materials and they will let me know when it comes in’. I have paid my bill in full (I’ll never do that again) and have been sitting with a new sink in my garage since March. We’re going on four months with nothing to show but a useless template, My checking account out $6,000 and horrible customer service that lies about customer contact. Good news-they offered me ‘100.00 off-that I would have to go after HomeDepot for, ridiculous. Customers have ordered their countertops after me and have had them fully installed. I would never refer anyone to use this company and will tell anyone who’s thinking about it to run.
Were so glad we found Stoneworks to do our kitchen countertops and 2 bathroom vanity tops! They have a huge indoor full slab showroom with so many choices to choose from. Customer service in the showroom was top notch and the whole process from placing the order to install was only a few weeks or so. My wife and I will be definitely be telling our friends and family to go to Stoneworks if their ever in need of countertops. We finally have our dream kitchen done - Thank you!!!
Stephan and Russell just my home after installing new countertops. What wonderful, professional individuals. Their work was impeccable. I am super particular with anything that has to do with my kitchen. I am so happy that I decided to give my business to a local company! Such a very good experience all around. I would highly recommend them! If I could give out 6 stars.....I would!
I’m so happy to be able to provide a review for the incredible service received when Frank and his team installed my new countertop. Each worker was extremely knowledgeable and professional and a pleasure to have in my home. The quality and cleanliness of their work was exceptional! Highly recommend this provider and Stoneworks.
The counter is beautiful and was installed extremely professionally. Our kitchen looks so much better! The installer Russell was very personable and informative. He went above and beyond to be sure we were satisfied with our new countertop and sink installation. We were very happy and impressed with the work that was done and would highly recommend Stoneworks and Russell to anyone for a beautiful countertop and professional installation.
Ordering, templating, and installation went perfectly. The veining of the quartz was lined up pretty well so it look like it was a continuous vein. I thought the two seams were not as tight as they could have been and were a little obvious. This is my 9th kitchen and 3rd quartz. The other kitchen seams were tighter. I would definitely use Stoneworks in Newburgh again over Stone Systems in New Jersey. Stone Works seems to be more customer oriented and not so factory cookie cutter when it comes to customer service
Ordered my quartz countertop through Home Depot thinking they would back only reputable companies. The worst experience I’ve had with a company. Scheduled for countertop install and never showed 3 times. I went without a kitchen sink for over a week as the plumbing has to be disconnected prior to the installers arriving but they never showed. No notice that they weren’t coming until I called asking where they were each time. And when the countertop was actually installed - the installer didn’t mount the sink as my contract includes. Before they left I asked about it to which he replied “the plumber does that”. I asked him to at least see if the sink fit before they left. No surprise, it did not fit. They had to cut my quartz countertop on site by hand. The countertop is now cracked at the point where the sink is mounted- I am still dealing with that issue. I don’t usually write reviews but this company deserves it. This has been a four month stressful, mess of an experience thanks to Stoneworks inability to run a decent company and provide a quality product.
I ordered my kitchen countertops in JUNE it is now DECEMBER and I still dont have them. They called me to schedule installation last week, when the day came they didnt show up, when we called them we were informed that the counters werent even in stock RIDICULOUS/PATHETIC.
Well it started in March 2021 when we ordered cabinets and granite counters from Home Depot in Catskill New York. The cabinets eventually came, but it took three weeks to get the company that they subcontracted the granite to to do a template. They then couldn’t give us a date as to when the granite was coming. Months went by and we have lost sales on this home because of the Stoneworks company , Newburgh, NY that Home Depot subbed the work out to. Home Depot refuses to do anything or remediate the problem. Well fast forward to August and they finally bring the granite and upon installation they break the large piece in half ,You really can’t make this up.. We keep calling them and they say they are going to call back to let us know when more material is coming in however they never call back . We are losing money and sales due to the ineptness of Home Depot and Stoneworks , Newburgh, NY and the refusal to stand behind their work. They keep claiming Covid as the delay for getting granite, however I see tons of granite at stores in Albany and yet Home Depot will not pull the order from the other company and get the granite from somebody that has it. I am considering legal action against Home Depot and the Stoneworks due to loss of income, loss of several sales and stress!! I do not recommend doing business with either of these two businesses as they could care less about their customers! So it’s September and still NO COUNTER!!!!
I am a general contractor who has used this company a couple of times. I will say, the first job went well without issues, despite having problems getting a hold of them. Now, for the issue. I have a customer who went to their showroom and picked out a specific slab to be installed in their kitchen. On the day of the install, I received a call saying the slab was dropped in the shop and cracked. At that point it wasnt a big issue because things happen. I called the office the following day and couldnt get through. Finally after a few days I spoke to the ops manager who assured me there was enough of the original slab to re cut that section. They scheduled the installation for the following week. I arrive at the job site and get everything ready for them when I get a TEXT message saying the second piece cracked in transport and they will not be coming that day. I immediately called on Monday (not open on weekends) and told them this issue needs to be addressed and fixed asap for my customer. After not hearing anything for over a week, I called and found out they ordered a new slab (the day before I called) to make that new piece. I was assured that it was the same slab and it would match perfectly. Well, it didnt. Not even close. The installers show up and immediately ask us to come look at it in the truck because THEY knew it didnt match. So heres my customer, 8 weeks past his scheduled finish date with half of a kitchen and the rest of the slab he hand picked in the garbage. At no point did I feel like anyone there was doing everything they could to fix the situation in a timely manner. Couldnt be more disappointed in this process.
I avoid leaving negative reviews but Im doing it because it is now over 3 months and my counter tops are still not installed and my calls and emails are unanswered. I understand the company probably has more work then they can handle but they should figure it out and get folks to at least reply to customers and let them know whats going on. I placed my order via home depot and I was not told it would take over 3 months or what 3rd party was going to handle my instsll. Im very disappointed at both companies.
The most unprofessional company I have ever used. Their lack of response shows they do not care about the customer. Our countertops were damaged by the installer. I had to call for 2 weeks to get a response from the office. This was AFTER Home Depot called them and I threatened to call the BBB. On the 17th they came out and determined they would have to replace the countertop. On the 19th I started making calls to the office for follow up. I do not feel I should have to wait for new tops considering they are supposed to be brand new and I have to look at them damaged! In the last week, I have made 4 calls, sent 2 emails, and left a vmm for a manager Rafael with NO response. Today I followed up with the BBB and an official claim was filed. The worst customer service ever. How hard is it to call back and get the job done? We also have friends who had tops installed last October , They have a large crack and have been waiting over a month to get them fixed.UPDATE: Today shortly after this review Austin from Stoneworks called me to try and resolve my issues. He was very kind and understanding, but I will be waiting for actions and will update when that happens.
I have to say, Stoneworks, in particular, our sales representative Eric, is awesome, and their customer service is top-notch. This is one contractor that delivers what they promise and then some. I should also mention that their installers delivered big time. We were so pleased with the installation results and impressed with their courteousness and professionalism. Their efforts are appreciated.
At best, they are friendly. Otherwise you will never be able to get them on the phone and it will take nearly 2 months from the time you schedule your first appointment to installation (and I have a really simple project).I got them through Home Depot in CT and this is ridiculous how long this is taking.
Where do I begin because so many things went wrong? Ordered and paid for countertops at Home Depot on January 6th. I was told to expect to hear from them within a few days. I waited over a month. I waited that long because I figured that I would show some grace due to COVID. Finally, I contacted Home Depot, who then contacted Stoneworks (SW). SW LIED and told Home Depot that they were trying to contact me, which is not true because no one left a message, nor did any of their numbers show up on my phone. Finally, I heard from SW to set up a templating appointment. I politely pointed out that they were dishonest with Home Depot about reaching out to me.Templating went smoothly, or so I thought. The gentleman was polite and seemed through. I asked about leveling, he assured me that everything was balanced and not to worry and if any issues come up, shims can fix the issue. 5-6 weeks went by before I heard from SW to arrange installation. Home Depot reached out to them, then I finally heard from them again.Day of installation (Day 100), two gentlemen showed up. They were polite but put off by the fact that I lived on the 2nd floor. I get it, but it is not my problem. 3 of 4 pieces delivered and semi-installed (not glued down) because they said that one section (4th section) was not leveled. By the way, that was the section that I asked about, and was assured that shims could fix the issue if one came up. I had the section in question balanced, which was simple and could have been done by (SW). Job was not completed. I still showed grace, kindness, and patience. 4th piece was not left because one of the guys did not want to carry it up, even though everything else was left. After the SIMPLE issue was fixed the same day, on my end I called to schedule and had to insist that they come sooner since they were giving me a date over a week away. I reminded them that I did not have a sink... Changed it to 3 days instead.Day to complete the job, Again, staff was friendly and SEEMED thorough. The plumber came back to install the faucet only to see that the hole was cut it too close to the backsplash, so it could not fit because it was rubbing against the backsplash. I GAVE THEM THE FAUCET BEFORE THE HOLES WERE CUT! This was a careless error. I should have checked before I blindly signed papers and they left, but I was too eager to get it over with. Now I am running around looking for a new faucet that fits, which is hard. Due to the location of the hole, few fit.At no time was anyone at SW rude, but their inefficiency, sloppiness, unprofessionalism, is unbelievable. Your company MUST do better and please do not use COVID as an excuse. Your company is subpar. I work hard for my money and deserve better.
I have tried in vain for about 5 weeks to get a call for a simple update from the main office. I did get a call from a staff member that works remotely, Nancy, who has been very kind and worked diligently to get updates on my behalf. Even with Nancy reaching out for someone to call me, the office has failed to do so.Going through reviews it seems one of this companies biggest downfalls is communication. I’ve given up hope of having a kitchen for Easter.Next step is calling Lowes, who uses this company as a preferred vendor. Everyone gets behind, especially with Covid altering everyone’s schedule, but when you request a call for a simple update and can’t get that after weeks of calling, there is a problem.
Extremely disappointed. Placed order April 6, had to wait 5 weeks for measurements. It is now almost 90 days and the stone is not even in their shop. The excuse is no trucks are available to bring the stone, and they have no idea when the stone will be there. Stay away from this place, not worth the aggravation.
The staff at Stoneworks - Newburgh have been absolutely impressive with the design, templating, manufacture, and installation of our kitchen granite countertops and tabletop. Eric and Danielle from the sales team were great. Eric made numerous calls to his suppliers to find and obtain the particular color and pattern we wanted for our granite. The staff that did the templates of the tops, the cutting and polishing of the granite, and the installation of the countertops were courteous and professional. Our thanks to the entire team for a truly outstanding granite showpiece for our kitchen !!
We were contracted with this company from Home Depot. We were told that they would reach out within 1-2 days to schedule an appointment and would be able to schedule the templating within 2 weeks. However, almost a week later (and after multiple calls by my husband and I) they still did not reach out.UPDATE: After a week and half of follow up calls we finally got a template time for this morning. However as I write this update at 5:09pm - the contractor still has not shown up or even bothered calling. The unprofessionalism of this company gets worse and worse the further we get into this process.
Great experience at Stoneworks in Newburgh, NY. We visited more than half a dozen suppliers and fabricators and these guy stood out. Im glad we chose them.Eric in sales was helpful, knowlwdgable and easy to deal with. His assistant Danielle was always ready to help us. The template guy and the installer DeeSean and his partner were quick, skilled and helpful. They went out of their way to make me happy, even when I asked them to move some of the granite that I wanted to keep for another project into my basement. (That stuff is heavy!)
This “hidden” gem in Newburgh has a huge indoor granite slab showroom and a knowledgeable team that made my kitchen renovation a seamless experience. It was very important for my new kitchen to not be “cookie cutter”, I wanted extraordinary and the team at Stoneworks made that possible. Eric, the sales manager, spent his time to ensure my new kitchen would be a masterpiece. He provided me with information on each slab I was interested in and answered all my questions. His understanding of surfaces, and attention to what I was looking for, allowed me to find the most amazing granite countertop. The installation team was professional and followed all the COVID precautions. I am thrilled with my beautiful granite countertops that complete my kitchen masterpiece.
This has been an absolute nightmare working with this company. After nearly a month of waiting to hear from the company for an install date, I was told they still didn’t have the materials. Went round and round with customer service with no success. Tried to speak with a manager who were never available and never returned a phone call. When I was finally called back, I was informed that they had spoken to my wife (which never happened) and they would be installing at end of week. Install came and found a chip in the countertop which was documented. Installers stated I would hear from company on Tuesday due to holiday...never heard from them. I called and was told once install is complete, the company is no longer responsible. I asked for a manager again. I was them told she wasn’t available but that in the notes it shows the manager, Wanda, had spoken to my wife (again, never occurred) and they (she and my wife) scheduled a “repair” for next week. I informed them this was unacceptable and I want an entirely new countertop. Still waiting to hear from Wanda...... This company is a disgrace and nobody there knows what is going on. Completely unprofessional and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy!
My wife and I went to Stoneworks with the thought of getting some idea. We were introduced to Eric and the rest is history. Eric is extremely helpful and very patient. We felt as if he was genuinely concerned about getting us exactly what we wanted. Stoneworks is awesome - the best.
Had a big problem in the beginning issue with communication and communication with home depot, much better service at the end, customer service can be improved as well as communication within the company not sure why I had to deal with multiple reps saying different things and a manager telling home depot false information but in the end product looks good Im happy with it and credit to the delivery installers who have to deal with annoying last minute issues
Similar to Christine, we also went through HD and got assigned to this company. Lets start with the issues:1) Scheduling - We also had multiple attempts to schedule for our template, by both my wife and I. The first time they had to cancel due to 2 of snow. I get it, youre in a company car, so no big deal, lets reschedule. The second time: No show for their time that they chose. The third time: after multiple calls we finally got on the schedule again.Templating went great to my surprise. The person they sent out was friendly, knowledgeable took all of our information, including sink, faucet type, asked what kind of ledge we wanted, etc. If this guy was the sole person we dealt with this would be a 5 star review.2) Scheduling - You guessed it! Have tried to call multiple times to get on the schedule for installation of our countertops. They are N E V E R there. I spoke with Alex in Customer Service who said he would pass on that we called. Still havent gotten that return call. Weve called every day at least twice - once in the morning and once in the afternoon and have yet to actually talk to anyone in the scheduling department. They havent returned our call to leave a voicemail.Bottom line is if we hadnt already paid for the countertops and if they hadnt already been templated we 100% would be going somewhere else. At this point we are trapped. Ill update if they ever decide to return our call.
Horrible experience no one calls you back, they delivered the wrong back splash that doesn’t match my counters. Counter was delivered with big scratch in it the guy said it would have to be replaced and they would be back in touch. I have called everyday for 8 days with no response.

2022-01-21I bought my cabinets through Lowes. Stoneworks was the only bright spot in that purchase. Stoneworks communicated regularly. They always showed up on time and as scheduled. The countertops are beautiful and fit perfectly. In summary, they were a dream to work with, and I received a quality product at a good price.

2021-02-10Walked into Stoneworks with some basic kitchen measurements, no appointment, and met with Eric. We were having trouble deciding on countertops with the samples in the showroom so Eric walked us through the warehouse where we selected the exact two slabs our kitchen required. Within a couple weeks of selecting the stone another gentleman came in and made the templates and within another week the crew came to install. The selection was extensive, everyone we interacted with professional, and the finished product is beautiful. I highly recommend Stoneworks.

2021-10-12I visited several locations that offered granite but Stoneworks was my choice to complete my newly renovated bathroom. Firstly, I must say that the employees were strictly professional, and the showroom was clean and well organized. I must also mentioned that the professionalism did not remained in the showroom but continued with the person that measured the spaces leading up to delivery. I am truly enjoying my granite shower base and window sill and deemed it money well spent. I am extremely happy with the product and the services provided by Stoneworks and will return for my kitchen renovation.

2022-02-03I ordered my countertops September 18th, they templated in November with some drama connected. Early January I received a call apologizing for the delay and will have it ready in 2 weeks. It is now February. the counters have been fully paid for and I have nothing to show for it. My emails have gone unanswered. Home Depot tells me they cannot do anything except direct me back to Stonework. This is unacceptable. I am no longer patient. I will reach out to the FTC regarding this company.

2022-01-20Good experience with Stoneworks. Allowed us the time we needed to select stone while providing valuable information on pricing and availability. Install was flawless. Installer polite, neat and skilled. Counter looks fantastic.

2021-07-12I have used Stoneworks for several counter and vanity installations, all without issues. Unfortunately, there were issues with my most recent installation, which I thought was going to be difficult to resolve. The entire kitchen counter had to be replaced due to template and machining / polishing issues. I reached out to Mickey (Corporate leader) and Timothy (General Manager, Newburgh), and they were WONDERFUL! Tim came out to my home to look at the stone and agreed there were issues that needed to be resolved. He, Mickey and I all discussed action plans and an entirely new installation was required. They took care of everything! I was able to come see the new stone at the showroom once cut and polished, the installation and quality of the cut stone was/is excellent and exactly the quality Stoneworks is known for and stands behind. My wife and I are very happy with our new counters, Stoneworks professionalism, customer service, willingness to go the extra mile for a customer and standing behind their products and installation. I want all to know about my experience, and they Stoneworks leadership was behind us 100% beginning to end. There were no nasty calls, no push back, nothing. I would recommend Stoneworks to others and would use them again in the future. Thank you Mickey, Timothy and team! Great working with such a group of patient and professional people. Thank you- Sincerely John M

2021-10-06Newburgh NY StoneworksBased on other reviews I was hesitant in using Stoneworks. We visited 4 other counter top fabricators in the area and I felt most comfortable with the service from Stoneworks. They had a good selection of stone and set us up with a visit to the supplier in New Jersey to pick out the exact slabs we wanted. We picked out the stones we wanted and they were reserved them for us. This was on a Thursday. On Monday they called to set up for the template person to come out and make the templates on Wednesday. He came out on time and made the templates without us having to remove the old counter tops. We figured it would be serval weeks before the counters would be installed. To our surprise they called on the next Monday and said they would be out on Wednesday to install the counter tops. On Tuesday the operations office called and said the installers would be out between 11 and 1. At 11, I got a call and they said they would be here in 30 minutes, and they were. Our cabinets are 35 years old, (back in style again) with formica counters tops glued to the cabinets. I had serious reservations about the removal of these tops, figuring the cabinets would be damaged removing them. To my surprise, in 45 minutes the two installers had removed 65 Sq. Ft of the old counter top without damaging anything. What an excellent job! They completed the job in another couple of hours, did a complete cleanup and hauled off all the old counter tops and cook top stove.I am so glad we ignored all the bad reviews and hired Stoneworks to replace our counter tops.I suggest you go directly to Stoneworks and do not go through the Big Lumber Stores. This is the third time I have used Stoneworks and I have been satisfied every time. They have done my bathroom counter top, supplied the marble around my fireplace and now the kitchen countertops.

2021-12-07Very happy with this company. The countertop is beautiful and even better than I imagined! The installers were quick and efficient and my countertop and sink arrived weeks earlier than expected. The company stayed in constant contact to be sure their part of our kitchen would be complete as soon as possible.

2021-10-11Luckily for us, the stone we fell in love with was on site and we were able to view the entire slab. We worked with Olivia and she was extremely helpful and kept us informed throughout the process. She was very willing to answer our questions along the way and very responsive via phone call. Templating was quick and painless. Two weeks following templating, was our install (yay!). The installers were great and worked diligently and neatly. We could not be happier with the overall outcome. Our granite countertops are absolutely gorgeous! Very happy we chose to go with Eric and his crew at Stoneworks of Newburgh, NY.

2021-11-14I had a kitchen countertop made by Stoneworks through Home Depot. I got to say, they really make it right. There was few issues with measurements and they had to redo the countertop couple times. Their guys went to my place 4 times and finally got it right and that what matters. Through the entire process Stoneworks kept in contact, very professional and I appreciated that.
