This place smells like dog and dog food. I got a non smoking room and either way people still smoke. I layer down on the bed and a few moments later i got bites on my right arm.

Room was very dirty, floors were stained and clearly not vacuumed recently. Furniture was in a similar condition. Damaged chest drawers, air conditioner sounded like a diesel engine. Found a carpenter ant crawling on the wall upon entering. Generally musty/smokey smell everywhere in and around the building. Damaged curtains with paint stains. Desk service was adequate. Cant recommend staying here based on room conditions.

Tried to stay overnight, couldn’t make it past 30 minutes due to finding glass in my bed and an insect in the other bed in the room. Towels were wet and used seeming like the bathroom had never been cleaned. Hotel reeks of mold and cigs. When we arrived the window in the room was wide open with a broken screen. We had to leave and sleep in our cars. The front desk was very kind and accommodating. I do not feel that this is a desk reflection but a management reflection. After several phone calls I for my money back.
There was a Magnum condom wrapper in plain site by the back of the bed. The floors look like they have vomit spots throughout the hallway. Front desk was helpful and bed was okay. Next time I might pay a bit more to feel like a decent human being.

This was truly one of the most disturbing stays I have paid for in my life. Arriving late at night after a long drive with two children, the parking lot was filled with intoxicated individuals, drinking and socializing in the parking lot, and loitering outside of the entrances to the rooms. Once inside the actual building, we were greeted by the dank stench of decades of old cigarettes (in what appeared to be a hallway of smoke free rooms), the oldest, stained carpet Ive seen in my life, and piles of trash gathered outside of the majority of the room doors. The room itself was mediocre at best. The king bed oddly had only three small pillows, the blanket had actual holes in it, and while I wouldnt have used them, it appeared the alarm clock and phone were not functional. We were awakened in the early morning hours by a neighboring room having an extremely loud and obscenity-fueled domestic dispute. Overall, the entire experience felt unclean and unsafe. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially anyone with kids.
Stayed here only cause it was the only place with vacancy that I could bring my dogs. Check in was smooth, manager was friendly. We drove around the back to go up to our room, and as we walked to our room there was vomit stains all over the carpet thru out the hallways, trash from peoples rooms outside doors (this was 8:00 pm when we checked in), and the hallways stunk. Definitely needed an cleaning and updating. Got to our room, light switch as you enter does not work, TV never worked the entire stay, even though we called to see why, and no response from manager as to how or that he would come fix it. No toilet paper in the bathroom, no soap, shampoo, and there were hairs in the tub. The room smelled of smoke - which instantly gives me a headache. The pillows, sheets, towels all smelled of smoke.Totally overpriced for the room! Will not stay there again, and would seriously doubt going to any other Super 8

Friendly staff he was great, however when we walked through the halls to our room there was dried puke in one corner people were putting tons of trash and blankets in the hall that were still there is morning. We made it to the room and nothing had been cleaned. Mold in the toilet hair all in the bathtub the walls were filthy. The fridge door had food a in the handle and the tray they have the coffee and coffee pot they have in the room was so gross.. beds are so down with dips in it and the comforter had burn holes all over it. Rooms are dated and some could use a DEEP cleaning/full replacement. Towels and bed linens seem to be in short supply and the hotel may not have any extras, if needed. Bill at the front desk is a super nice guy and very willing to assist with most anything you need. This hotel is not great and you will probably notice oversights made by staff during your stay. Police regularly patrol the rear parking lot of the hotel. Of course, they regularly respond to the front of the hotel. For just a little more money, the Red Roof Inn down the road is much cleaner, more recently updated and does not have the same clientele as the Super 8.

Positive: This hotel is centrally located to where we needed to be and we loved that there were many restaurants close by, especially the Dennys right in front of the hotel. The front desk staff is friendly. Negative: It was built in the 80s and some of the decor is original to then. The room could have been a little cleaner--there was some dusty furniture, fingerprints on the window, & rug looked like it either wasnt vacuumed or the staff missed a lot of spots
If 0 stars would possible that’s what I’d give them. I stayed for one night for work in the area and this is the “hotel” I was placed in. The floors and walls are dirty and moldy. The carpet had burn marks. There were ants in the bathroom sink that kept on reappearing. A coworker woke up with roaches in the bed and pillow. The building needs to be torn down and condemned. 😷😷😷😷😷😷

The hotel is in need of updating. The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. But the room and hotel smelled like cigarettes eventhough it is a no smoking facility. On a better note...the front desk clerk was very kind and helpful at check in...I wish I got his name. He did make sure we were in the quiet side of the hotel. The location is good so if the hotel was updated, they would be worth the price.

This motel was disappointing to say the least and overpriced for what we got. The bathroom doorknob was broken, the hair dryer didnt work, the carpets were worn and dirty, the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not clear steam the way it should so the mirror was useless, etc. I paid less for a Beachside hotel in Ckearwater, FL. Terrible experience!
Smoking rooms are not that clean. I know these rooms usually are, but for $100 night they should be a lot cleaner.

I stayed here for an extended period of time, 17 days. Upon checking in I realized that the AC and mini fridge were broken. On the first night our toilet started leaking leaving the bathroom floor and area outside the bathroom soaked in toilet water. We asked to be moved but they wouldn’t until the next day. The second room had a sticky spot in the table drawer with drug baggies stuck to the bottom and the ac filter was disgusting. After staying fir 16 days the front desk calls my room and states that they need $100 cash deposit fkr the room and we had half an hour to pay it or they couldn’t process our booking for the day and if they didn’t process our booking we’d have to wait 3-5 days for the money we already paid fir the room to be released even though it was not our fault that for 16 days the staff did not do their job and collect a security deposit. The manager Christine was very rude and nasty. Also I don’t find it a coincidence that I was fine for the first 16 days of my stay but after my fiancé, whom is afrian American came to stay with me I was told about the security deposit and then informed two days later that I could not rent a room for another night even though they had vacancies available. I called claiming to be a different customer and they stated their were rooms available and that anyone paying with a card did not need to put a cash deposit down. I’m disgusted by the actions of the staff and how differently they treated us once my fiancé was with me. Will never give another penny to any super 8.

The room smelled like smoke even though it was supposed to be non smoking. The toilet only flushed partially. The light switch didnt work on the way in. Picked up the phone to complain bit that didnt work either. We could have gone to the front desk to complain but we were tired from a long day of driving. In the morning we got ready to leave as soon as possible only to find barely any coffee and no food available. I understand Covid restrictions but other Super 8s weve stayed at at least had muffins. When we left in the morning we found that the outside door had been left ajar. Not safe at all!!!
Reception desk staff was personable and efficient. The room lacked some amenities (water glasses) but the receptionist provided paper cups. No coffee for the coffee maker (I suggest, if this is a Covid restriction that you removed the coffee maker completely).Staff the morning I checked out was efficient and very accommodating, looking up and giving me explicit directions to the church I was looking for.

Its a Wyndham hotel and I think Wyndham should be ashamed to even admit it belongs to them. It was beyond filthy. When we arrived 1 of the beds was unmade like somebody just left the room. The fridge was dirty and so was the microwave. There was no bathroom tissue, the toilet was dirty with stains, the tub was dirty, the sink was clogged. Also not enough outlets to plug anything. Cant say no more than that. Oh yes DONT GO THERE. Zero stars

Poor. Cheap but I’ve stayed in others similar in prices and they are MUCH cleaner and more updated. Carpet is dingy, we found old Chinese rice in on one of the cloth chairs in our room; I almost thought it was maggots. The bathtub is stained, our sheets were stained, th sparking lot is tore up and has some strange characters around. It is pet friendly and that was what we needed for our trip; so only plus. I would not stay here by choice. Find another one!
Our expectations were very low. Worse than I could have ever imagined. Never have I stayed in a place so gross. Non smoking room but everything smelled like smoke. Very gross dirty looking. 2am had to kill a roach.

House of horrors. Not clean. 1st room tv didnt work. Run down. Stairwells and corridors not clean. My room was not made up for 2nd night. For 130 dollars a night I expected a little better. If my wife had been on this trip I would have changed motels.
Arrived at the hotel after midnight on a Friday night, all they had available was a smoking room unfortunately. But the employee working the front desk, Bill, was so unbelievably polite and helpful. Not only did he offer me coffee, but he called a few hotels in the area to help us find a room for the night EVEN THOUGH it wouldnt be a room at his hotel. A+ costumer service, and Ill certainly be staying if Im ever in the area again!!! Thanks Bill!!!
Its a dumb. We got into our room at about 6pm Saturday evening. The fire alarm was missing. It had only 1 light in the whole room! No facial tissues. No plastic cups in the bathroom. The phone was not working! Someone punched a hole into the bathroom door. The back entrance, which we used, because of the location of our room, was just disgusting. See attached picture.

The first room we got hadnt been cleaned. The next room was better, but needs a little maintenance. Too many appliances in the room were plugged into a single wall outlet. Although the room didnt look dirty, it also didnt feel clean. It seems it was probably because the room needed some updating/fixing up.The staff was good, breakfast was very good, and it was a place to stay overnight as there was a blizzard/ice storm when we stayed. This would not be our first choice to stay at again, but for the price we wouldnt avoid it either.
Dirty, uncleared rooms, moved to a different room twice because evidence of a persons head on the pillow, Food, & mold on the carpets throughout the hallway into the rooms. Smelled like urine when I turned on the A/C. Could not stay! Checked in at 12:30am left at 12:45 am.

Worst ever, gave 1 star b-cause there isnt a zero star. Rugs were FILTHY and i said FILTHY and sticky, the room SMELLED REALLY BAD, they never gave us clean towels had to go EVERY DAY TO GET CLEAN TOWELS, the breakfast was a joke, had no phone, ROACHES running amuk, the cleaning ladies were LAZY as hell, outside bad ilumination and winos and joint smokers adorning the parking lot. I had come on several ocations IT WASNT THIS BAD B 4 BUT I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. Someone needs to decide between running a hotel or let the hotel run you to the ground. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!
Would not recommend a stay here. The bathroom was not clean (hair in the sink, toothpaste spattered on the mirror, empty toilet paper roll on the floor with no toilet paper in the holder, smelled like urine) and the guestroom smelled musty. There was mold growing in the heating/cooling unit. If not for the fact that it was late at night and the only place available in the area that allowed a dog in the room, we would have left for another hotel. Not at all satisfied.
WARNING: Lobby desk surrounded by cracked plexiglass and bare wood posts. Lobby and hallway floors covered with unidentified stains and fast food trash. Lobby and hallways filled with overwhelming smell of pot. Walked into our room and it was trashed ... bed messed up, empty drink bottles strewn about. Front desk attendant reported the maid said she cleaned the room (even showed me she checked off the room as cleaned).State/County health inspectors ... go!
The staff was very welcoming!!! The room was dirty. When I mean dirty I mean dirty. The tub was gross. The dresser was sticky. The rug looked all stained up and the room had a weird smell. The worst thing was the bed it felt like I was sleeping on a rock and was extremely uncomfortable. The only thing good about this place was the staff at the front desk. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t return!!!!

Bonnie is SO amazing and nice. The hotel is well located, the price is decent and everything is clean ! Positively surprised for a 2-star hotel. Decent breakfast too! Only thing, the piss/smoking smell in the halls and rooms is a bit too intense, but then again its a 2-star hotel. at least, all the linens and other bed supplies were clean. Good for just a few nights

The smell is too much to bear. I wanted to check out halfway through my stay. Hallways smelled like gallons of cheap air freshener had been used to mask previous smells. my room smelled like 50 cheap cigars.breakfast is poor. coffee and bread. stuff runs out and doesnt get replaced. the breakfast is in a hallway, crowded, only 2 tables.I wouldnt stay here again. wouldnt advise anyone to stay here.
It doesnt look like its pictures on Expedia, and the whole place smells like cigarette smoke. I generally stay in budget places, but I was worried to touch anything because of how gross it was. After ten minutes of trying to convince myself to stay, I walked out for a partial refund and got a room across the street at the Ramada.
Worse experience Ive ever had. Got to the hotel late at night around 1030pm and the hotel attendant tried to charge me again even though I had already paid for the room.The room smelled of smoke, although I did purchase a non-smoking room. The desk near the bed had burn marks and the chair was soiled and dirty and the walls were damaged.The next morning, when I went to take a shower I noticed a rag was on the shower head and an open bar of soap in the tub area which was dirty and grime around the tub and t he toilet had ring stains around it. I called the front desk, who apologized and stated Ill have someone clean the tub for you. Came back into the room bathroom still dirty. Ill never stay at a Super 8 again and I guess you get what you pay for.
The only reason why it was two stars was because the front desk did all they could to solve problems.There were things that were curtailed due to Covid, but other things werent done that should have.There was supposed to be a weekly room inspection every Friday to check on carpeting and counters. There was one inspection - on a Tuesday. Outside trash receptacles were often overflowing (especially on Saturdays)

I had to have my room change the tv didnt work and there was no working lights in my room. Then they move me and yet againg no working lights. When I went to go make a call and it looks like some one cut the phone wire. This place needs serious help.it would not be a bad please if they get working appliances and start changing the light bulbs. So easy.
Old hotel, needs to be replaced. Dirty, reeked of smoke, cigarette butts on the floors even though suppose to be non smoking. Worn out bed, carpeting, furnishings.

Ive been to other Super 8s that blow this location out of the water. It was a musty smell in the room and hallways and I wasnt pleased at all with they condition of the room and the upkeep of it!!!!! The wifi connection was super poor and I only rated this a two star because of the great front desk associated for my two day stay. I would not book here again!!
I had a great stay ! The room was nice and clean and very cozy. Only stayed for one night the bed was very comfortable. Standard complimentary breakfast in the morning that was quite wonderful. The woman that works this morning however was quite rude. I had asked for more milk as it was empty, and she had given me attitude. Not to mention my boyfriend had gotten through his breakfast before I could start mine because she took her time. She was the first person other than my boyfriend that I had spoken to thst morning, and i approached her quite pleasantly. Knowing that she can set the tone for someones day with her negativity. She was the only part of my stay I did not enjoy. The gentleman that checked is in the night before however was quite pleasant.
Overall its fine for a night or two in a pinch or to save some $$. Rooms were clean and smelled fresh. The AC worked well. The bath was clean enough for me to feel comfortable soaking in it. The breakfast is light - theres (stale) cereal, coffee, toast, fruit, a waffle maker and little packaged muffins, so you wont starve if youre not picky. The hallways are dingy but dont appear dirty...unfortunately they reeked quite strongly...like maybe a mixture of food smells from various people microwaving things. The hallways arentnair conditioned so it was extremely pungent...but none of that smell was in the room.
Negative: The room was dirty, the carpet was pealing off the floor, the desk was in pieces piled on the floor, the fridge was dirty, and the air conditioner was moldy and smelled really gross. There was a puddle of an unknown substance in the hall.
BEDBUGS!!! Not sure it was bedbugs but something was biting. Poorly maintained. Hallways smell and carpet has many stains
I gave a 2 star rating because the staff was friendly and responsive when needed and it was a safe place to lay our head at night while out of town. However the previous comments are all correct. The hotel has an odd smell. The rooms are outdated. The bathrooms are dirty. There was feces on the side of our toilet when we checked in. They said they will be remodeling. There was no other hotels available in the area so this is why we stayed here. If you are use to staying at a Hilton on Holiday Inn or similar you will be disappointed.
Very dirty and had to go and retrieve my own shower linens. I was able to write my name in the dust that was on the mini refrigerator. There were discarded pain relief and a reception from a store left on the microwave. The room had not been cleaned or checked in some time from the last person who was in the room.
My husband and I stayed overnight because of a long layover flying home from our trip to Scotland with friends. It was my first time in New York state, and everyone was very friendly. The room was a spacious king-sized non-smoking unit. The bed was very comfortable, and a complimentary breakfast was provided downstairs. My only complaint is when I tried to get a shower that night there was no hot water, but when my husband got his shower the next morning there was hot water right away. Other than that, our stay was perfect.
The front desk employee was extremely nice and helpful. The bathroom in the room was beyond disgusting. Bring flip flops to wear in the shower. Bring a power strip because you can only plug in 2 of 4 appliances sharing the same outlet. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. So gross.
If it.only looked like their photos....The room was awful, the stale odor was disgusting...the towels looked like really needed a good wash with clorox bleach..We only stayed one night and never again.
Mold in bathroom. Bad smell very strong, needs a remodel badly. We stayed 3 nights and asked for a better cleaning in our bathroom. Still black mold in bathroom. Carpet did not get vacuumed while we were there. I will not stay in this super 8 ever again, and would not recommend anyone else to stay there
Not bad, you get what you pay for. Front desk guy was friendly, helpful, and quick. No bed bugs but it was a little dirty in the rooms. Breakfast was light, fruit, yogurt, pastries and juice, no meat but they had eggs.
Positive: the location was perfect distance from my job. Negative: no ammenties for the price paid, hoped for more at least pool or a gym would have been nice.
So the stay wasn’t so bad. We have stayed there before in the past. However on this particular stay when we left I had forgotten an item. I called the woman said she would check the room, it was still how we left it and the cleaning people didn’t get in there yet. Upon arrival, (maybe 20 minutes later) the room was cleaned and my item was nowhere to be found. I’m very unhappy. I am clearly being lied to, and that’s absolutely disgusting.
Staff were nice..the hotel itself is horrible. The pictures are very inaccurate. The place smelled horrible and was dirty. Very dilapidated and falling apart. Felt very unsafe. Would not recommend staying here at all.
I had prepaid my room online my husband checked in they billed his card for the amount of the room which means we paid for the same room twice this was on Sunday when I saw what had happened I called to hotel to resolve it asked to speak to the manager she told me that she did not see the reservation made online and refused to reverse the charges to our card then proceeded to tell me she was charging me damages for my dog peeing on the sheets which was total lie there was no discussion of damage until u requested the reversal of charges. I did not want to pay for the same room twice. I had to call the customer service over the hotel to try to get this fixed so now they have seven days. This is shady business practices at this hotel be very careful if you choose this hotel I have never in my life had such a experience if they operate like this and do it to me they will also do it to you and also if you decide to take a chance you better have them come and check your room before you leave as they may come back later and say you had damages and charge you for them. Beware of this hotel!!!!!!
Had a great stay here! Staff was wonderful, accommodating and helped me figure out how to get to places. I was given a map for the trains and no problem staying over a few hours because of checkout time and when our flight was. If I come back to New York, Id love to stay here. Housekeeping was helpful, too! Clean rooms and bed was comfortable.
Stayed there last night, got a 2 double bed. I personally enjoyed the room . The ac worked great, the beds didnt have bedbugs like others have said, the rooms were clean, it didnt smell bad . The tv sometimes on hbo channels would get funny, but I blame spectrum ha ha . It was a simple room so its good for the price. I would recommend this place to family and friends, and Ill stay here again in the future :) front desk works were very kind as well . And barely any noise , even tho we were not far from front lobby.

I checked into this hotel a week and a half ago. I checked into this hotel for an 11 night stay since I traveled here to work in the area. The rates I was charged was enough to equal a mortgage payment on a home for a whole month. So I expected this hotel to be at least normal in operation. However it is so far from that.The first room I got checked in to reeked of dirty animals, and the fridge didnt work. Quickly I was checked into a different room. Throughout the whole stay, every day, several times in the morning and evening, we had to call the front desk to tell them that the hot water was not working. They would go turn the pilot on to heat up the hot water, and tell us to wait 10 minutes. I complained to the front desk about this. The general manager offered to refund three nights of my stay.Now that its the last day, and Im about to check out, a few other things have come up that are extremely uncomfortable. the air conditioning/ heating unit in the room is not working any longer and the handle to the door on the inside of my room keeps falling off. Maybe someone tried breaking into my room while i was at work yesterday.I would not recommend staying at this hotel until they tighten up and fix all the things that are supposed to be operating efficiently for standard guest amenities. Youd be much better off staying somewhere else until they have these issues fixed.Im not sure if they ever reimbursed the 3 nights to tbe card we had on file or not bc the GM never returned my call or replied to my email. I called a few times and finally a front desk attendant said they would initiate the partial refund. At this point, after all the inconveniences and uncomfortable issues, including the noisy guests above my room that sound like a stampede of cattle herding back and forth across my ceiling all night and morning the last 3 nights, I feel I should have been offered a refund of more than 3 out of the 11 nights we paid for.
What can I say, it’s a super 8! Been here before, it’s cheap but it’s nothing to write home about. We were on a motorcycle trip and needed a bed for the night. Served it purpose! There are many military folks who stay here so we felt safe. Will stay again for the cheap rates and no frills. Swinger party at the bar next door on Saturday’s!
Stayed because we were exhausted from driving and no other hotels available in the area. Rate was good. Staff we encountered were friendly. Location has great potential, away from traffic noise.The building itself needs a major upgrade. The toilet had hard water stains and ran all night. Furniture had significant wear. Rust and wear on door jambs. Curtain was threadbare in spots. TV listing did not reflect accurate channels. Outlets were overloaded and seemed unsafe. Breakfast bar was minimal and crowded.
Room was older but neat & clean. Unfortunately not accessible for 2 older women because you had to climb up & down a small set of stairs. We arrived late at nite & no handicap parking left. Had to park in back of the building, close to an entrance, but once again stairs were involved. Had to move vehicle twice to load & unload with less stairs. On the plus side was the motel location, access to highway, price, congenial management, and the cleaning staff helping us with stairs & opening doors. Would stay again, but call ahead to find a more suitable room location.
The reception staff was great! Friendly and helpful but the rooms were in need of a good cleaning. The furnishings and carpet were dirty. Defines rely over priced for the condition of the motel. Certainly not the standards I would expect at a Windham property.
I stayed here before and gave it another shot. My main problem this stay was with the cleanliness of the room. There was a large brown stain on one of the beds (area of the bed where your groin/butt would be). There was a dripping/fluid stains on the picture above the bed/headboard. There was visible mold on the floor trim along the tub. Aside from that, the staff, amenities, accommodations, and location were decent. Not sure Ill be giving this another shot...
Inexpensive, comfortable bed & especially if youre going 2 have an extended stay. Carpet in the room was very stained & not vacuumed. All in all a good nights sleep 😴.
Dirty rooms and halls, worn out furniture (see pic), poorly maintained overall, but its one of the most inexpensive hotels in the area. Breakfast was average for a hotel but had improved a lot since the last time my group stayed at this hotel. The staff was courteous.
Rooms were not fully cleaned. Bad pet odor covered up by spray. Short staffed. Most appliances didnt work and took fromt desk receptionist 2 hrs to replace refrigerator. Wont go back
We were traveling north and got caught in a snow storm. The staff was amazingly nice and knowledgeable. You get a 10% discount at the Dennys that is walking distance. Stayed in a king size room with our dog. Clean room and comfy bed. Well worth the money for a safe place to stay the night.
Room was clean. Service was friendly. Location was very convenient to food, shopping, and interstates. Only thing that was a downgrade was the rooms clearly need updating. Old tube style tvs old carpeting. Just old stuff. It all worked fine but compared to other hotels its certainly outdated.
Stayed here during our hiking weekend. Great check in experience... The guy checking us in gave us a full array of options for dinner and watching the Yankees game, as well as entertainment options in the area. He even offered to call us a cab if we drink. Room was simple but clean with all the amenities we needed. Nice king bed... Comfy enough for a night rest... We are not high maintenance so this was perfect for us!
The hotel smelled funny. The WiFi was barely usable as it kept randomly losing Internet connection. The bed was very uncomfortable, and I could feel the springs in the mattress poking me. The pillows were so thin, I had to stack 3 together to make it comfortable. The heater in the room made an awful racket when it kicked on. In the morning, there was no hot water. Will not be staying here again.
Stopped by but didnt stay. Place appeared to be a dump. The guy working behind the counter was not the friendly kind. And they had all these things plastered all over of things that you cant do if you stay there. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Stayed here for a month for work and enjoyed it for the most part. The staff was always very friendly, housemaids always did their part, cozy beds, and very cold A/C. My only complaints were that the WiFi would cut off from time to time but wasnt slow, and the ice Machine was out of order. They also had old box televisions for most of my stay but began to upgrade to nice 32 inch flat screens during my last week. Also, avoid staying on the south wing of the building, the hot water runs out sometimes.The Ramada next door may be nicer but the beds arent as comfy and the AC isnt as cold.
Room was dirty. We really were afraid to sleep but were so tired. We never walked on the floors without shoes. It had a strong smell of bleach which really burned my eyes, yet didnt look like it had ever been cleaned. We couldnt wait to get out of there this morning.
Rooms are musty and outdated. Toilet seat broken, was bitten on neck, shoulder and arms by something. Was moved to another room that didnt smell any better. Will go to the dr once in get back home. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, couldnt any results about my situation until mansger comes in on Monday. Place really needs some serious work. Was afraid to go to sleep the next night.
If I could give a 0 star rating I would. This was the only place that had rooms left for the West Point graduation. Now we know why! Although rooms werent dirty they sure werent clean! Obviously the staff is underpaid, an envelope begging for maid tips is on the old decrepit dresser. Sorry, no tip if you dont even wipe a spill on the counter. Terrible yellowish fluorescent lighting of varying degrees of brightness made it impossible to put on makeup, or see for that matter. Sheets were horrible cheap itchy fabric, luggage racks only in some rooms, deplorable disgusting stale processed food items for breakfast bar. We expected humble, but this place is horrible! Add to all of the above staff that mistakenly calls you at midnight screaming. All of this for $135 a night. Stay far far away from here!!

Clean front desk area and a greeting staff member Who offered us a fresh cup of coffee or tea while we were going through the check-in process. They honor AARP, CDL, Military and various other Discount Rates.They are also a Wyndham Affiliate so you can gain points or use points with this Hotel. Rooms are very Clean, Housekeeping Staff is absolutely one of the best All the housekeepers I encountered were very accommodating for needs of extra blankets, towels etc. Beds are comfortable and clean. On site Laundry room. Vending area with great selection 1 beverage Machine 1 Snack machine and 1 Frozen Food/ Ice Cream machine (All Full W Up to date Products). Breakfast is a continental breakfast With Belgian Waffles, fruit, yogurt, cearal, coffee assorted teas, apple and orange juice, assorted muffins and toast. They Have 2 Breakfast rooms 1 with a T.V. and one closest to the Breakfast station. We stayed Several Days and will definitely stay again. I give them ☆☆☆☆☆s It was a Super 8 Stay!
This place old, dark, dank and smelled bad. Floors were sticky and furniture barely held together and look to be old pressed board.Counter tops were about 3 feet high and to top it off, no hot water.would NEVER stay again and only did because we we to have parking for moving truck and trailer.Front desk staff was slow and not focused on customer service at all!

A word to the Owners!! This hotel needs serious renovation: dirty carpets & damaged, dusty furniture. The location is a goldmine: near Stewart Intl Airport and JW Sites. Rather than shampoo carpets, just change them. Youll get your investment back very quickly. Friendly staff.

What a dump they barely cleaned the room if they even cleaned. I didnt have very high expectations and it didnt even meet my low expectations. Definitely dont stay in this Super 8. We will never stay in a Super 8 again. Air BnB all the way cant believe we didnt think of it for this trip.

We were given a room that was occupied. Sheets looked like they hadnt been changed, bathroom was not clean, people making noise, playing loud music in their cars in the parking lot and stomping around over our heads until after 11pm.
I was moved to 3 rooms! First night I stay I was bitten by a bed bug ... and Instead of getting money back they moved me to a room where it smelled like rotten rat , next room the Room heater doesn’t work, bed cover dirty , floors unclean
Rooms dirty, smell like dogs. Room 141 was filthy with shedded dog hair all over the floor and comforter of the beds. Switched rooms where the tv doesn’t work. Asked the front desk to come take a look at it. She told my co worker and I we would have to leave the room while she looks at the tv because we are two men and she was a woman. I kind of feel like she felt that way because we are black but even if that’s not the case, that is still poor customer service and I have never experienced such a thing in all of the hotels I have stayed in in my 7 years as a truck driver.

The guy at the front desk was very nice but there was only 1 room (a smoking) room but the suites were not allowed with dogs.It smelled really bad in the hallways for my son also in room.
I have stayed at plenty of hotel/motels in my life, but this by far was the worst. The smell of cigarettes is like walking into a raunchy bar. Stained and dirty carpets. Not worth saving a few bucks. Hope I can find somewhere else to stay next time I visit my daughter.

Have your lysol ready. Without it youll have the flu to take home with you. Dark, dingy, and dirty. Non smoking rooms smell of smoke. So many other, perhaps more serious complaints, but Ill spare the hotel and keep them off of this review. I only stay here because work pays the fee. But yeah, I have stayed here enough to admit it is disappointing experience.

The hotel is really run down and dirty. The rooms were not very clean and they smelled as if they had sprayed for pests. Beds were really uncomfortable. Gets one star for the nice mountain views.

This Super 8 is not Super, upon entering the check in smells like cigarettes. I was informed somebody had been smoking just outside the entrance. The smell permeated the wing in which we (room 111) were staying. 08:10am Sunday no food left for the free breakfast. The breakfast are is along a narrow hall.
Cheap room. This is where the construction workers usually stay. Within walking distance of a Dennys. Would not walk around in this room bare foot because of the cleanliness of the carpet. Rooms just clean enough. Beds were on the stiff side.
Great front desk. Check in was simple and friendly. The rooms were clean and newly renovated. Coffee was good and fresh every morning. Location was great for visiting Wallkill, Warwick, and Patterson. Price was exceptionally low for a clean decent place to stay. Near resturants and coffee shops and shopping.
Agree, an economy motel. We use for quick overnight stays, after 10 hours on the road, 4-8 times a year. Pet friendly, we have dogs. Staff friendly, standard breakfast bar though seating area small. If we have time and bigger appetites, Dennys is only steps away. Works for us.
Stayed there for 4 days. Very nice house keeping people. Front desk clerk was ok. Rooms were very clean, well stocked, if you need anything, just ask.
The room was small but clean. The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. The free breakfast was just waffles, nothing else; no juice, no eggs, just waffles.
It was a clean place and pet friendly. They even have us a bagged breakfast to go to. (Because of the covid)
Pre booked room for 4 adults and 1 Junior. Slight misunderstanding on room sleeping capacity, which was brilliantly rectified by the staf, where they upgraded us to a suite, at no extra charge!!Room was just perfect. Lovely big king sized bed, couch bed and cot. Nice TV and our own fridge.WIFI was free which was a big bonus AND free breakfast ( Tea/Coffee, Cereal, Toast/Waffles, yoghurt.... Delicious!!Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of staying in the area.

Extremely dirty stained carpet. Smells bad. Ripped and stained furniture. No one available for check in. No one answering calls at front desk. I called customer service on website and they just put me on hold. When someone finally showed up (17 minutes later) at the front desk she was very unfriendly!
I get that you get what you paid for and the staff was nice , but my boyfriend and I checked in at 3:19 pm ( check in is at 3) , the desk clerk said the room was available and clean ...ok ...got to the room and they were still in the process of cleaning it,now we are waiting for towels , which has been over twenty minutes now ...if the room wasnt ready then why did you give us it

This place is a dump. Stayed for 1 night heater sounded like a jet taking off, I know its next to the Airport but jeez. Dirty bed spread yuk! Dont even think a renovation can help and its needed. Stay somewhere else is my advice.
Ive stayed here several times because it has large parking area,, But it is getting really run down. The rooms are old and dirty and I was being bitten all night by bed bugs or some type of bugs.There is so much dirt and dust built up behind beds and all the furniture in room. Old trash on floor behind bed. I would choose another location to stay if I had my kids with me.

03/27/18 to 03/28/18 insect bite incident details:In a brief 1-day stay in room# 244 at the Super 8 Newburgh NY facility, I awoke to a sharp sting bite to my face. Upon observation, I noticed evidence of several other insects, cracks in the structure & white powder spread throughout the room, proving that there was prior knowledge of the issue. Reception of morning staff was notified who solely vague excuses of sting bugs accessing room due to other customers leaving window open. Incident report request discouraged. Corporate office slso notified. Awaiting reply.
Its not as clean as it used to be I dont know whats up with housekeeping but as far as the front desk staff they were great.

Its a cheap hotel, stains and threadbare blankets.. you get what you pay for. On the bright side the daytime front desk is very nice.

This is my second time at this hotel and I have no complaints...the hotel is clean just need some remodel enhancement....the main thing that would need to get a makeover is the bathrooms they are clean but a remodel is needed and a some updates in the hallways as well...breakfast is good would stay here again

Great price, clean room, pleasant staff, good complimentary breakfast.However I found myself asking for the same things and no one came to fix the issues, and water machine out of order the whole 4 days stay and doesnt offer late check out. Disappointing.

2022-06-05Terrible! Pictures make it look great, but it’s really shabby. Clerk point out where breakfast was and but the lobby smelled disgusting so I wouldn’t eat there. Room was disgusting! Hairdryer didn’t work, had hair and lint buildup in it and was sticky. Light switch didn’t work. Trim coming off the wall. Stains on the carpet and the room obviously had not been vacuumed for a while. One of the lampshades had nasty stains on it and there was no bulb in the light. The one chair in the room had disgusting stains all over it, so nasty we decided not to sit on it. We did not want to walk barefoot on the carpet and actually checked the bed to make sure the sheets were clean. They were, thank goodness. The one lock was broken off the door. The room smelled musty, but it did not reek of cigarette smoke like the halls did. Heard men talking loudly in the halls. Appeared to be the kind of hotel that attracts a crowd of people who come to a hotel to do whatever they want, if you know what I mean. I was going to stay there with my two younger teenage girls. After check in we went to our event, left early. Driving three hours home was preferable to trying to sleeping there. Only positive thing I can say is that when the front desk clerk heard that we were leaving to drive home that night without staying there he did give me a full refund. As well he should’ve! Pathetic excuse for a hotel! Believe the reviews! It’s bad!

2022-02-03We stayed in this hotel a couple of years ago and it was fine. So I didnt bother to read the reviews when we booked this time. I should have! I DO NOT recommend staying here at all - flee from it! The hotel needs a deep clean - the carpets, not just in the hallways but also in the rooms are GROSS! Stains everywhere that look like vomit everywhere. And dirty. And our bed was awful - the mattress was broken on one side. For the price, it was way too expensive since I wouldnt even recommend my dog staying there. (But, I will say that the staff was very, very nice!)

2022-04-21My stay was excellent, thanks to the wonderful front desk man, by the name of Bill. I had stayed here one night before in January, and forgot to leave a review. Well this one will count as two. Bill made sure I was in a quiet room, as I had traveled pretty far that day and tonight too. I needed a couple things, and he was very accommodating. This is where I will definitely stay, if I pass by here again. Thank you, Bill!!

2022-06-22Positive: The location, very close to storm king park & trails. Close to small, quaint, towns: New Paltz, Beacon, & West Point. But the room itself was very dreary and dark. It¿s good for a 1-2 night stay where you won¿t be spending much time at the hotel. Negative: As other reviewers/past guests, I agree that it didn¿t feel very clean, although it looked overall tidy. But after all, this is a motel. And is meant for a short overnight or two night stay. You are getting what you are paying for.

2022-06-21Positive: I liked the king suite that we had, it was nice and spacious. It was like having a living room and bedroom. Negative: I booked the king suite and twice given a regular king room. The 2nd king room wasnt cleaned and the bed not made. Finally I was given the king suite that I booked and paid for. The toilet bowl & inside the microwave were dirty.

2022-06-18Room smelled bad. The worst hotel Ive ever been to. If I had been alone I would have left to sleep in the car. Obvious water damage in hallways, air from air conditioner smells like feet. A capless bottle of cleaner/smell remover spray was left in the bathroom. Extremely humid indoors. Dirt spots on carpet in room. Did not feel comfortable walking barefoot anywhere. Doors had a bolt but no chain lock (chains appear to have been broken off/removed). Refrigerator in our room didnt work or failed to work some of the time, didnt keep food cold. 0/10 uncomfortably humid, dirty, and smelly.

2022-05-17Positive: Location is great.. near many restaurants. Code to my daily meeting. Negative: Stayed three nights with absolutely no room services. No continental breakfast as advertised. First morning was a brown bag with a danish and an apple. The second day was out of supply and it was 7:30 in the morning..

2022-06-14In my cross country trip, this was the worst hotel that I have stayed in. Manager was rude and a thief. I dont recommend it to anyone, friend nor enemy. I paid $180 for the night room and manager overcharged me $250 extra totalling $430. Janie good that room looks like the one I was in. I agree with you, disgusting place to stay at.
