Craig was a true professional. He was diligent in determining what the issue was…calling the manufacturer and his company owner to dialog on the issues and potential solutions. He and his partner tested all the furnace outputs and determined the burners needed to be replaced. They ordered the burners from the manufacturer and when they come in they installed them and made adjustments to best operate in this area. They cleaned up all the debris and explained all they had done. Syracuse Energy Systems and Craig will be my recommended HVAC solution. THANK YOU.
Syracuse Energy recently replaced my furnace. They were very responsive, competitively priced and did great work! Very personable technician and overall great service.
From the moment I called, the first person I spoke to got someone to come right out to find out what the problem was. Craig was able to dx the problem and it was determined I needed a new furnace which they ordered and the very next day Frank and David came and installed the new furnace. They were all polite and answered any and all questions I had. I will use them for all my heating and air conditioning maintenance. Good service, good quality, but most importantly Good People to deal with.
SES responded in a timely, professional manner. Craig explained the options for repairs and cause in terms I could understand. He completed the repairs quickly and at a reasonable price. Trustworthy and reliable - I would recommend and will be using them again. Thank you Craig!!
Excellent service and Peter crane was professional and explained everything he was doing. He answered all of our questions too. I like that they text and or email you when they are on the way. Everyone I dealt with from answering the phone to scheduling the service to repair are awesome. I highly recommend Syracuse Energy Systems and we use them for repairs and our annual service inspections. Definitely five star company!!!!

A few years ago I had Tom Jean, Syracuse Energy Systems, install central air in my home. I was completely happy with everything then, so decided to come back when I needed my furnace updated. Tom did not pressure me, but gave me information on furnace types and which ones would be best for my home and personal needs. He gave me extra informative resources to help me make my decision. When the technicians came to install my furnace and humidifier, they were friendly, professional, and respectful of my home and privacy. They were prompt, worked diligently until the job was complete, and cleaned up all traces of their presence. They kept me up to date as the work progressed, and were concerned that I was aware of reasons for noise levels, gas smells, etc. When the job was complete, the new furnace and humidifier systems features were explained to me in detail. During this whole process, communication was a breeze. The office manager, Terry, was always prompt and thorough when returning emails, answering questions, and taking care of rebates through National Grid. I would highly recommend Tom Jean, Syracuse Energy Systems and their professional team.

I have been using Syracuse Energy Systems for about 20 years. Tom Jane, the owner, will not recommend any service or product that is not truly needed. On June 2nd, Craig the SES technician performed a routine Air Conditioning tune up. He was very personable, knowledgeable, and thorough. You can trust this company with all your heating and cooling systems and be confident things will be done correctly. And you wont have to worry about being told you need something that really isnt necessary! I highly recommend Syracuse Energy Systems.
Syracuse Energy Systems has been servicing my furnace and heating needs for several years now. I find them to be prompt to reply to any service call Ive had, and trustworthy in their opinion as to what needs to be done. My system is a bit antiquated and convoluted (lots of different zones in the house). Tom has never seemed intimidated by it and always knows just what to do to get us up and running again promptly. I would highly recommend Syracuse Energy Systems.

Very pleased with Syracuse Energy Systems. We are returning customers, and we use them exclusively for furnace repairs and service. The technician just left for a routine furnace cleaning; he took the time to go over what he was doing and explained everything that will need doing in the future. It has been my experience that other operations are less inclined to do this kind of thing. Everyone just wants to get in and get out. This meant a lot to me because it is the first major snowfall of the year, and as we were the last service call of the night, Im sure he wanted to get home.Great technician and a great local company.
After three tries, I finally found a heating company I can trust!! I was so impressed with every step of my service - from making the appointment to the quick response time to the honest and quality work that was done. We have a boiler that needs antifreeze, and the two other companies I dealt with both overcharged me, told me we needed more gallons of it than we did, and I still had problems with my boiler after they were done. With Syracuse Energy Systems, I was told exactly what the problem was and given options on how to deal with it. In the end, I had some parts replaced (which was not part of the estimate from the other company) and new antifreeze put in. With the other companies, I had been quoted a ridiculous price for the antifreeze and told I would need many more gallons than I actually needed. When the job was said and done, I paid half of what the other company had quoted me, and I had more work done, and SES even left the extra antifreeze for me to use next time the boiler is serviced.I cant say enough good things about this company and am so we glad we found them! Look no further!

Thomas was great. We were just having a routine maintenence done for the first time since buying the house and he was very knowledgeable! He was more than willing to answer all my questions.
Tom Jean and his crew were on time, efficient and courteous to us and our two dogs. He explained everything that would happen in the process of installing a new boiler, piping and radiators in our home so that we were not caught off guard at any of the installation process.The crew that accompanied him were friendly, knowledgable and cleaned up their worksite (our home) each day for the entire five day install. There was no tools, dust or debris left in our home. A wonderful job done by this crew. When I bought my house, it already had the heating and air conditioning system. Tom Jean went out of his way when I first moved in and came over and explained how my furnace works. Tom was very personable. Made a point to make sure my kids werent stuck without a furnace overnight. Didnt sell me anything I didnt need. Suggested no more than what I did. Price was fair. Ill use his service again if my furnace acts up again.
Whole process was great. Got my quote within a few days of calling and the work was complete two weeks later. In and out in a day for a/c replacement. You wouldnt even know they were there. Super clean and efficient.

We had a problem with our A/C unit and saw a truck in North Syracuse Route 11. took their phone number and called when we got back home. They came out that same day and got our unit back running in no time. We were glad we saw their truck. We plan on having them come in the spring and do a check of our unit before the heat of the summer comes.

2022-08-11I called their office on Monday afternoon and was able to get the owner to come out within a few hours to look at my a/c unit. He came back the very next day and fixed my unit within an hour. Another company told me I needed an entirely new unit without even looking at it but Tom was fair and responsive. I would not only utilize him again in the future, I would also recommend him to anyone looking for HVAC services.Wonderful customer service!

2022-06-23Tom Jean runs his company with integrity, and it shows in his team. Sue, in the office, is always so kind on the phone. And Pete just came to service my AC system and was friendly, polite, and professional. And when he was leaving, he knocked on the door and showed me that one of my front steps was loose, then offered to nail it down for me, because he didnt want anyone to trip! Exceptional customer service all the way around. Highly recommend.

2022-07-22Craig is professional and is able to quickly find the problem. Our AC was not blowing cold air and not cooling down the house temperature. He only checked two places and found out why it wasnt functioning, and answered my questions patiently. After the repair, the AC was finally back to work. I appreciate their work and would recommend Syracuse Energy Systems to others.

2022-05-21I finally turned my AC on for the first time over the last weekend and it wasn’t working right. I called them Monday morning and they squeezed me in that afternoon. Craig came out and looked at it and told me I needed to replace a part as it was leaking. They gave me the option of replacing the expensive part or the whole unit… it made more sense to replace unit as it was 15 plus years old. They set up the install for the following day and they showed up early!! The owner Tom and his service guy Craig both had it all installed in 4 hours and I can’t thank them enough!! Best customer service I’ve ever had!!!!

2022-07-29Installed a new 10 ton Carrier unit on my roof at Nesticos Restaurant, did all new ductwork running to the basement air handler/ furnace unit. Just a terrific job with lots of hard work, knowledgeable techs, and great follow up to insure all working well going forward. Glad I was steered to them! My new team for AC/Heat for the future. 2022-05-14Tom Jean is honest, professional and he doesn’t over charge for his services because of the Covid Pandemic or use it as an excuse like most businesses . His rates are fair and justified. This is my 4th time using Syracuse Energy Systems. They come for emergency situations same day! I can always rely on them.

2021-12-30Craig did a great job making repairs on our furnace I receive a text message in advance when he was on his way and who is coming, he replaced two parts one he had on his truck and the other he had to run and get and was back in 30 minutes my furnace was back up and running in two hours. It is great to see a company that still has great customer service from Sue in the office Joel in sales Frank and Tom who did the install and Craig who did my service repairs, Thank you to you all.
