The food was really good, but don’t be fooled there are some random charges to look out for. not incredibly high, but there is a 15% service fee. another sauce plate is also $2. other than that it is $33 for the whole experience! my only complaint is that the lady who served us was rude and seemed annoyed at serving us. the lady who was passing by to give us water was nicer than our own waiter. it was my first time so i had a lot of questions, but she was kind of passive aggressive. it was obvious she didn’t want to help, it was very clear. i wont hate on the food tho, was delicious. will be back :)
Iron BBQ- Great idea but for our visit it was poorly executed. First our waiter was not very good. No explanation on what is what. Grill was just turned on so meat wood cook but only like it was steamed (no char). After an hour the grill was better but we were done and disappointed. I really wanted it to be a great experience. I won’t go back for the bbq for sure but might try the other side. The pic I posted was last try after grill finally got hotter. The rest of our meats were not good.
Omgeeee!!!! My first time having Korean BBQ and it was such a vibe! The food was amazing and they several proteins you can choose from! Yes! You Cook the protein yourself and that was so much fun!!! The grill was hot so the meat cooked really fast!The waitress was amazing and very tentative! I will be back!!! If you’re looking for a fun, chill, relax vibe this is the spot!
The best BBQ restaurant in Roc area! We got so full of one round lol. Way enough amount of meat. We had shrimp, squid, pork, beef, fish tofu and tea of course. Pretty much tried everything, end up with $70+ including tax. Good price.
I got the ramen, tasted really good. The place is spotless and looks cool too. There is quite a bit to choose from so you wont be disappointed. Havent had it, but they offer grilling your own meat at your table.
Theyre still working out some kinks since they just opened, but our food was delicious and staff was very friendly. All the staff seemed very young, stressed and confused, I was surprised there wasnt a manager or someone helping them on one of their first days open. I felt kinda bad for them lol but nonetheless, everyone was friendly and food and bubble tea were great! Will definitely return
Went with a few friends for the all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ. Food was excellent and fresh. Unfortunately the service, organization, and food rules are not good. Your table is only able to order 4 selections in the 1st round, then only 2 each round after. I would say if you only had 1 or 2 people at your table, that would be fine. But 3 or more adults having to share very small portions of meat is a little ridiculous and wastes a lot of time. Service was slow even though there were maybe only 5 other tables being served. After the 1st round, we waited over 10 mins until the waitress checked on us and got another order in. Plan on being here a while. Theres a 2 hour max limit and it took just about all of that time to be finished. Be aware , there is a 15% mandatory tip added onto the bill. Normally thats around what I would tip, if not more but I felt that the service did not meet that kind of tip. Ultimately I dont think it was quite worth the money to try again.
The Korean bbq was awesome and fun. Good amount of food for the money so go on a empty stomach.The bubble tea side is good too but they have a hard time remembering to put in straws with your order if you order online for delivery, which is hard to drink the bubble tea with no bubble tea strawBut the tea is great and so is the ambiance
Whatever troubles they had at the beginning seemed to be worked out by the time we got to eat here. Our group of friends ate here last Friday and it was an amazing experience. I have been dreaming of a kbbq place like this one to open around here for a while. It did not disappoint. The customer service was amazing, the meat was great, and they made sure it was a really fun experience. My only tiny complaint is that the meats labeled spicy weren’t spicy at all. There was a spicy dipping sauce that was really good though and that made up for it. I highly recommend if you want to celebrate something or have just a really fun food experience.
The food is fresh and delicious. Service is awesome. Had a great 1st time experience. They were busy and we got our food right away. You HAVE to try the pork belly. They also have sushi, Ramen and 1 of my favorites, bubble tea. Plenty of selections to choose from. Thanks for the experience. 5 stars
My family really enjoyed themselves. The place is stylish and has great music. The food and beverages is delicious and we loved the fact we could cook the meat ourselves. Definitely going back!
They have a limit for the two orders PER TABLE 😳 for “Korean BBQ- ALL YOU CAN EAT”.. FOUR of us waited about an hour to have the first order served. Kimchi and marination of meat was very mild. Staff was friendly. Hope they make some changes with feedback. $140 (with 20% off) + Service Charge and we were still hungry after lunch 😂
This is the best hands down location. I’ve tried the others and nothing was the same. The boba was too mooshy, the drink did not taste satisfying, and the customer service was unprofessional at the other locations. I don’t know how they do it here, but their whole crew is awesome and the drinks are so delicious. I live next to one in irondequoit and drive all the way to Greece just for this one. I recommend it best bubble tea in town.
Over priced and not worth over $100 for a couple, I spend less at nicer restaurants and the food is better. Charging people to take a few pieces of meat home after paying $100+ for a dinner is ridiculous. I also didn’t like how you are charged a tip with no option of how much. I love the bubble tea but wouldn’t go back for the food
It is a bit confusing walking inside bc the counter isn’t really separated into different restaurants but the staff was very friendly helping me find my way around. the servers were very attentive and also wanted to make sure we enjoyed everything and even gave us her best recommendations which were absolutely delicious 😍 being the first korean bbq in rochester you’re going to have people who don’t understand and of course changes will occur as you go to fit every customers wants and needs! trial and error, some of these reviews are mostly people i can tell just didn’t really understand the concept of the whole thing. if you ask your server any question they will answer for you and they treated me like a best friend! would definitely recommend this bbq to all of my friends and family and wish the best of luck in finding your future and i can’t wait to see this business grow!!
Was OK. There’s restrictions on menu and time limit. Also theres restriction on only two rounds for each order.. the grill is not very hot so you need to wait quite a lot of time before the meats are well-cooked. It’d be better if there’s some soups that I could order.
I’m obsessed with this place!!! The food, service and atmosphere was amazing! I’ve been meaning to try the Korean bbq style and this was by far beyond what I expected! I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone especially those who are looking for a chill atmosphere!
Highly recommend this place for great service and great food. There was a amazing selection of meat and everything was fresh and perfectly marinated. It was worth every dollar spent.
Such terrible service, walked in with my boyfriend and it was our first time being there, a bunch of minors working and act like they can’t handle guest that never been there before. I completely walked out and just ate somewhere else.I will not eat somewhere where they can’t communicate to the guest nor ignore what’s going on. I asked them politely what should we do when we want to dine in and they completely ignored us and looked at us clueless like if we was speaking a different language 😒 never will come here again.
This small bowl of sauce costs $2 extra if you want to order more to eat with the barbecue. It’s absurd. Can you believe it? a restaurant BBQ - All you can eat, but still hungry after leaving :)

I was served by mariesa, amazing service, amazing food, the aura of the restaurant made me feel very welcome, the restaurant itself is very beautiful i love the interior, i got a sour green apple smoothie with strawberry boba, tasted absolutely amazing. food also exceeds all expectations
I have never complained anywhere even though I dont like it. But here, I cant be silent because the important thing that people care about is customer care. However, the staff behavior here is so bad even the manager is very bad. Think about it, a buffet restaurant but when you order, they only bring 2 plates of food and you have to wait more than 30 minutes for the next batch of food, if you remind them about the food they pretend they dont know. We told the manager that the stove was not hot enough to cook the food. And you know what she said? She said that because we put all the food on the stove, the stove couldnt get hot, so it was our fault. but a group of people with only 1 grill, how can we cook for enough people if we dont put the food on the grill. I cant believe that a manager of such a large restaurant could say those words. OMG. Its terrible, the price is $33 for all you can eat, but they serve you like YOU ARE BEGGING. they waste my money and treat us like a BEGGAR. Really terrible in my life.I NEVER COME BACK 👎👎👎HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.
Would have liked more meat choices and to not pay extra for them. For party of 2 could only pick 2 meats at a time and it takes a while to cook them. And you are on a time limit.
If you’re looking for a great spot for some ramen, this is not it. Only place I know that can have a tasteless pork based broth. Good atmosphere. Extremely disappointed.
I came here to eat with my boyfriend over the weekend and I really enjoyed it. Despite the bad reviews, the servers were really nice. I didnt find anyone rude. The staff was helpful even when our server was getting us another round of food. Before coming here I did research on KBBQ and what typeOf meats and sides typical get serviced so when I came in I knew what I was getting into . I never had authentic KBBQ , but the meats were so good and I cant wait for more veggies & Liqour license!
Bubble tea is obviously pretty standard, but the Ramen bowls are surprisingly on point. Coupled with a nice decor thats pretty cozy imo Im pretty sold on this place.

AYCE KBBQ restaurants are my favorite restaurants and I was excited that one had opened up in Rochester. I’ve done AYCE KBBQ in SF, Atlanta, NYC, etc so I am comparing this restaurant to those.Negatives: Just based on the price point given the available options, this place is severely overpriced compared to other places. There is a very limited meat menu. Most legit places include will include Kalbi in the AYCE menu. Also the 2 meat limit is the lowest I’ve ever seen. There is no other AYCE KBBQ that will charge you for more dipping sauces (my wife and I finished the sauces). Very limited bonchon sides. Grill doesn’t get super hot so cooking times are increased (not sure if this is intentional).Positives: My wife and I were the first customers of the day on a weekday, which we intentionally planned for. We had a new waitress but she was attentive so we didn’t have to wait long between meat orders. Meat was well seasoned. Sauces were good. Only AYCE KBBQ option in the area.Overall: I came in with low expectations but had a good experience. I think a large part of this was the fact that we only had 2 in our party and we were the only customers doing AYCE KBBQ at the time. Given the 2 meat limitation, extra sauce charge, and time limit I would not suggest going with a party of more than two and I also would not go during peak dinner times - I can imagine a frustrating dinner experience. I think it’s a good experience for first timers to KBBQ, but people who have done AYCE KBBQ elsewhere might be disappointed. It was a good experience but I probably won’t be returning for a second visit.
The pricing for Korean bbq here is very weird and expensive. I visited twice and each time my boba was wrong.
This is my first time and will be my last time eating here because it’s a terrible place. We came here for the “ all you can eat kbbq” but they will charge you extra if you order more sauces and more meats and the service was horrible when there were only 3 servers at that night and they don’t care about us, they has our order written down and we still have to wait almost half an hour for the food to be out and one of the lady there even gave us an attitude when we asked about the food. We even called the manager out but again she didn’t even say anything much and not even the word sorry which is all we want to hear. So please don’t go here because not just the food that was worthless and the high price we pay but also a terrible customers services!
Please don’t waste your time and money to come here. Such a terrible service!! Unprofessional staffs and manager, they don’t know how to handle the problem and having attitude when I asked how much longer will the food come out since 30mins waiting. And it’s not all you can eat, they will charge you extra for whatever you ask. Also the grill take forever to cook the meat, and they will not serve until you clear the table which add another 30mins waiting. I was still hungry when I left the restaurant. However, it’s a nice restaurant but not worth it overall. Never come back again!
For those who are illiterate. This is not authentic Korean barbecue. Im a Korean. Im very disappointed in how they marinated the meats and other ingredients. I strongly advise you to check out Seoul House for Korean barbecue!
Nice experience very different but very expensive and they charge u if u have to much food wasted and went with a group of 10 and they didnt acknowledge the birthday we came to celebrate for.
The worst experience ever ! 1st off Covid protocols are over take the mask off so we can understand you ! 2nd off the girl didn’t even know what side to sit us on and was very rude when we asked her about the menu and how it worked ! Wish this was still bar Louie! The people working there have no clue and its concept sucks too!
Went out to eat with 3 other people. The burner wasnt working we had to wait to restart it. When they did restart it, it continued to cook slowly. Theres no way it should take 20 minutes to cook very very thin beef. I ordered chicken but it never came. After the second request I said nevermind, because it would take forever to cook anyways. Theres also no alcohol yet.
I always have a great experience here and there Boba is to die for! Love there Sushi Burritos! 10/10 recommend trying them.
The best KBBQ in Rochester compared to Yummy Garden restaurant. Call for reservations ahead of time or else you’ll wait almost up to an hour.

One thing that surprised me about this place was that all the cooking was done on parchment paper instead of directly on the grill. Tastes pretty weird compared to actual grilling.

2022-02-16I want to start off by saying I came when they first had a soft opening and it was a bit of a mess. I still wanted to give this place a chance and came for Valentine’s Day lunch and it was great! My waitress was amazing she went above and beyond. I will definitely come again!Edit 2/15/21 - I did come again today because that’s how much I liked this place! Same great service.I do however wish they had a bit more ban chan offerings but that’s just knit picking.

2022-02-22Went there with my wife. The grill was honestly fine and fast enough for a party of two. I usually have big appetite and the portion of meat they serve is definitely enough. We couldn’t even finish one round. Meat and seafood were both decently fresh. Loved the sauce, especially the dried Asian pepper one, delicious. The bone-in short ribs and ribeye are definitely a must-try. I’d recommend this place, it’s Rochester, not Manhattan, you won’t find anyplace like this elsewhere in town anyway. :/

2022-03-11This was my first time having Korean BBQ and I was NOT disappointed at all!!! Im so happy I went! The service was great and the food was fantastic! You definitely get ALOT of food and should go with two people (I like to eat out by myself😅) definitely worth the price and really, really looking forward to going back‼️🙌🏾❣

2022-07-18I had the Korean BBQ and it was good. My 1st time trying Kbbq and cooking the food myself at the table. You get a great amount of food for the first round. I was so full that I didnt even order anymore meat. You have an unlimited amount of lettuce, rice and steam buns. Service was great. Overall I really liked it.For 2 people and 2 bubble teas we spent $100 (they include 15% gratuity)

2022-02-02This was a new experience for me having to cook my meal at a restaurant. I loved the idea. It didnt take long for the meat to cook. Our server was very helpful and informative. They checked on us often. The only downfall was that we couldnt bring our leftovers home. There were lettuce wraps and meat I ordered and didnt get a chance to touch. We will go back again.

2022-06-10This was a super fun thing to do with a big group of friends! They werent super busy when we went so service was very fast. We ordered some bubble teas (all were great) and a lot of meats! The concept is awesome and all of the meats were seasoned so perfectly! The meats even come with unlimited rice, lettuce, and bao buns. We had a really fun time and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back!

2022-03-24The service was TERRIBLE!!! I came here with my bf to try the K-BBQ. The foods were just OKAY and not authentic, and it would cost more if you ordered certain meat. When we walked in, there were no server direct us. We waited for about 10 mins for no reason then the server led us to a tiny table in the corner(there were plenty of empty tables). We had to request to move to a bigger table. The server never checked us, and we had to wait for a while to order. The 15% tip was automatically generated while checking out. FYI: the amount of tip was calculated by the totals AFTER TAX instead of before tax. I usually wouldn’t leave bad comments unless I had an extremely unpleasant experience. I personally would never come back to this place again.

2022-02-19It was my 1st time here and the place was very nice and clean, the food and service was excellent. Our server always made sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely be going back and I recommend everyone to try out the great food and experience that I had.
