I can’t say enough good things about Justin and his team at “Tank me later”. Greg and Dominick came over to my place in the Bronx, and dismantled my 55G and 110G tanks, carefully collected the livestocks, transported them to Cambridge, MA and put it all back together. I did not lose a single livestock, including my difficult and demanding Dicrossus. Not a drop of water was spilled, and the re-scaping was embarrassingly better than anything I could have pulled off. All the while they were humorous throughout the hard day’s work. Justin coordinated the logistics and transactions superbly. I am extremely satisfied with their service and would recommend them to anyone. Splendid job.
I cannot say enough good things about Justin and his team. He created a spectacular built-in aquarium at my company office in Massapequa. It is exactly the look we wanted for a contemporary space. I was so impressed, I asked him to look at my backyard pond that I have struggled with water clarity for years. Tank Me Later did a fantastic job repairing my waterfall. The waterfall had been losing water, among other problems, and because it was 12 years old, no other company wanted to touch it. But Justin was willing to take on the challenge! He and his crew did an extremely thorough job diagnosing and successfully rectifying the problems. Additionally, they worked hard to make sure that my waterfall would be finished in time for a party I was hosting. Justin was reliable, professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. Justin has done a great job so far with our tank. We had only fish survive in a 120 gallon tank and I was about to give up. He came in, was very professional, and very up front on what needed to be done to fix the tank. We now have 18 thriving fish and the kids love it. Keep up the good work.
Justin & John did a complete take down and removal of my 180 gal Reef system this past Saturday. Extremely professional, polite, and basically two nice guys. They did an outstanding job, and were extremely neat with the disassemble and removal process. I would highly recommend this company for any new tank Instalations and any relocation moves of large in home aquariums. A first class operation overall.
These guys were great! From my initial conversation with Justin to when he and his colleague Avi finished the job my wife and I were completely pleased and impressed by the professionalism of these two young men. On the initial call Justin explained the process - we had a 150 gallon tank we wanted removed - how long it would take, and the cost. They showed up when they said they would ( actually called before they came) did a extremely professional job, and left everything clean and neat. The price even came in less then anticipated. Justin and Dom helped me out in a bind. Needed to move my 95 gallon tank in a few days and they worked some things around and made it happen. They were careful, personable, and professional. They moved the whole tank (w/out a single fatality) and it looked even better once arranged and set-up. Meticulous in their undertaking with the tank, filters, and fish - even went as far as binding and zip-tying the power strips and air tubing to make it nice and neat. Justin and his team helped out TREMENDOUSLY during a move recently in Jersey City.My tank set up (75g Display, 30g Sump, Network Cabinet with Apex Fusion Kit of Parts) was an afterthought after all my other moving was said and done, and Justin was able to give me peace of mind knowing that everything would be taken care of with minimal disruption to my work day.He was even able to reschedule due to the February Blizzard and accommodate my deadline with less than 48 hours notice.In addition to the logistics support, he was able to offer guidance & implement strategies to make improvements to my system, including; Optimizing aesthetics with rock & coral placement, increase flow throughout the tank, improve my plumbing system, and address cable management issues I was having.They even cleaned the tank, and all of the components pieces before putting the system back together.When issues presented themselves, Justin was able to rapid problem solve to overcome the obstacles and minimize downtime in productivity.I highly recommend utilizing Justins services if you have a difficult task you need to undertake and need the help.IT
Had a leak and couldnt figure it out. Justin came by within 3 hours of me finding and calling him. Explained the ins and outs of the tank to me and solved the problem with my own household items. Could not be happier with the service. Will use them again soon for further maintenance!
Justin is phenomenal to work with. He designed a beautiful custom aquarium for our family room and is very personable. He keeps it maintained perfectly, and even takes the time to show our very interested children what hes doing and teaches them about the fish. Our family would highly recommend Tank Me Later!
I have been looking for a 220 gallon aquarium for almost 1 full year. They have been VERY difficult to find due to COVID and an apparent “glass shortage”. I messaged Justin through Instagram to see if he had 1 available. Although he didn’t have one at the time, within 1 week he was able to get one and deliver it for a very reasonable price. Justin was timely, extremely professional, and managed to safely move this large aquarium with ease.With guidance from YouTube videos, I built a wood stand with 2x4s for this tank, but it would shake and wobble due to the floor being uneven and impurities in the stand. I gave Justin a call and he came over, fixed the stand with shims, leveled the stand/aquarium, and worked effectively and efficiently. After weeks of trying to fix this stand, Justin was able to do it in 20 minutes. Tank Me Later are truly masters of their craft! When looking to hire anyone for an aquarium project, look no further!
Justin is a real genius when it comes to aquascaping. He has such a great imagination and has worked diligently to make my dreams come true. He arranged my rocks so that it spelled out my name and I was truly impressed how it came out. Truly amazing. Tank Me later is very professional and Justin selection of fish are top notch and are safely quarantined so that I have peace of mind that my tank is free from any issues .. Used Tank Me Later to move and repair my large freshwater tank and I couldnt be happier! The techs we knowledgable and thorough, and they clearly cared about what they were doing. All of my livestock are unstressed, and Im stoked for the new filtration system they installed. Found out you can also hire them to source and quarantine new livestock, so Ill definitely be using this company again!
Justin is a very nice and magical person. Me and my father have been trying to get this fish tank up and running for 3 years. When Justin came in he knew exactly what to do from the beginning and worked his ass off. He was able to redo the whole tank and even ordered us the parts that we needed. I am new to the trade and I had started my first tank. A small 40 gallon tank in my home. I was having problems getting my tank cycled. After many months of fish dying, I called Justin to come give me a hand. He immediately identified why my ammonia and other chemicals were so off. I used Justin for several months for maintenance and basically lessons on taking care of my tank. Every time Justin came he explained everything he was doing and why. If it wasn’t for Justin I definitely would have given up and gotten rid of my tank.

Justin is good. I mean real good. I heard about him through a friend and I gave him a call to come over. He pointed out at least 10 things that were not running optimally and fixed them. He knew the answer to every question I asked and then some. He even gave me a new heater because my old one was shot! Tank Me Later, Justin, opened my pond this Saturday. He and his assistant cleaned the pond thoroughly, made it like new again. He also fixed my UV light. My koi fish are very happy now. Justin is an honest, and hard-working young man. He is very nice and professional.
I was starting a 75 gallon African cichlid aquarium and after spending so much money I just wanted the assurance that I was doing things the right way. A quick google search lead me to Tank Me Later. Hesitant, I called the number listed and spoke with Justin at length, not only was he able to advise me, but he agreed to come out and do my first cleaning and set me on the right path. All I can really say is WOW! Justin is one of the most professional, caring, punctual and driven individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He completely redesigned my tank, fully stocked it, and gave my home the show piece I was looking for with absolutely no hiccups whatsoever. I recently changed from another vendor who was maintaining my 90 gallon corner tank. Believe it or not I saw a sign for Justin as I got off the northern state pkwy exit near my house. My previous maintenance company was undependable and his rates just kept changing while his work deteriorated. I have now used Justin twice and could not be more pleased with his work. He is punctual, dependable and my tank never looked this good for this long. When I wanted some additional work done he gave me a price up front and did what I requested. I was looking for a new company to maintain my pond. I came across Justin and Tank Me Later.Justin called me within 15 minutes and came to my home the next day. He was courteous, knowledgable and explained what needed to be done with our pond. Our pond is clean and clear and our fish are happy. We had a previous company service our pond and they were the polar opposite of Justin. If you have a pond and you want to be able to just enjoy it and leave the maintenance to someone else you should call Tank Me Later.
Justin from Tank Me Later is super awesome. He came and got my home aquarium up and running from the ground up. He took his time and explained everything to me thoroughly as this was a new experience for me. What I like most about Justin is that when a unforeseen complication came up he took the responsibility on himself and the company and was able to restore everything fully. This I think is important as a business owner to put the customer first even if it means sometimes losing a little bit of extra cash. Justin still texts me and asks me how the tank is doing and makes sure I am happy with my fish. He also makes sure he quarantines fish for a few weeks at least before selling them to you to make sure they are healthy and free of disease. Overall I am extremely happy with this company and I would recommend them to anyone seeking these services.

I had a 30 gallon saltwater tank that was seriously need for TLC. So I found Tank Me Later and I contact Justin. He is very knowledgeable and experienced in building and designing the aquarium whether it is freshwater or saltwater or to create design for the Koi pond .He transformed my tank to 55 gallon saltwater reef tank. Justin is a wonderful guy and loves what he does. He always takes care of his client regarding aquarium or fish issues. I definitely recommend Tank Me Later to hobbiest who wants to install or design aquarium or ponds in their house.
My husband and I have a 55 gallon planted community tank. We had trouble keeping it pristine to say the least, plants dying, the tank was dirty, the filter was making noise, we didnt know how much to feed, etc. Justin came by and spent a while taking things apart, scrubbing, cleaning, dumping, and within a few hours...voila!! Needed to move my nano-tank to my new home. Justin and Charles came early to the appointment. The break down of the aquarium was quick and the build up was just as fast. After setup was complete, we had an issue with the water levels being both off balanced and high. Justin and Charles made sure to fix the problem before leaving. Great service. He will come to your home, analyze your tanks environment, then not only design a functioning habitat for your lil fishies but also help you implement the design. Justin and his crew did and amazing job moving our saltwater reef tank from Queens to Brooklyn. They took their time to pack our 2 large anemones, roughly 9 fish, more than 12 shrimp and crabs and over 15 coral; including one fish who spends most of his time in the sand, so how they even caught him is beyond me.They spent more than 9 hours working and recreated an arch we made from scratch, maybe better than it had been before. I highly recommend their service and will surely use them again if the need arises.They even called a week later to check in, who does that? Great customer service people, thats who!

I used Justin to help me correct problems with my reef tank, we basically redid the entire live rock system for much better flow and filtration and following a few recommendations the corals are really starting to get their colors back and clarity of the water is amazing again, i would have no problem to recommend Tank me Later to anyone i know,,,,,,

2022-05-17I recently relocated from NY to NJ and I inherited a beautiful Koi pond. As it is time to de-winterize I stumbled upon Tank Me Later; although it was costly the transportation alone I decided to take advantage of their services and boy am I glad I did. Today my pond was serviced by Dominick and Chris they did an excellent job it was all I expected and then some. I have a prior pond guy but was a little apprehensive to trust this job to them. I must say I was completely satisfied and very happy by the service I received today.Thank you to Owner Justin and your employees Dominic and Chris Job well done.

2021-09-24Justin, who I believe is the owner, is very professional and knowledgeable. Wonderful customer service and reasonably priced.Greg, who just completed my first service, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did a wonderful job and seriously made my tank look like new! He completely cleaned all the walls and rid them of algae, flipped all my decorations over to make them look new again, and cleaned up any water spills as they occured so my wood floors/furniture werent damaged. I did not want to have my decorations bleached, though that is a service they offer, to clean them and rid them of algae. I personally like how they look with the algae on them and it keeps beneficial bacteria/organisms in the tanks ecosystem.Justin called me about 20 mins after Greg completed the tank service to see if everything went swimmingly and to see if I had any questions or concerns. I was extremely impressed, as it seems good customer service is a dying art. I am seriously considering starting a routine maintenance schedule with them, so I can take one tedious task off my list of things to do.I highly recommend Tank Me Later!!

2022-02-22I highly recommend Tank Me Later. After an ordeal with a company that I will not name, that forgot to turn back on the feeder after a routine cleaning, leaving us in devastation, I cautiously sought out Justin and his company. I am so happy to say that his company and staff have regained my trust. They were able to get many of our fish back to good health and we now have babies ! Sadie is exceptional, she takes the time to educate me and works diligently with care to ensure our tank is thriving.

2022-01-30I was having issues with the color and cleanliness of the water in my turtle tank. I called Tank Me Later and they responded right away. Justin was very helpful in making suggestions of things I could do to try to resolve the problem myself. When that didn’t work he quickly came out, assessed the situation and came up with a solution. The tank has never looked better. I’ve had my turtle for 10 years and I don’t think she has ever been happier or healthier. Highly recommend.

2022-04-01Great service. Justin is very knowledgeable and answered every question I had. A gentleman named Joe came to my home to do the actual work. I was so impressed with how he completed the job besides which he was friendly and could not do anymore for you. Bravo to a great company. Definitely will be using them again.

2021-11-09They took my large 55 gallon tank down to donate to a school and made sure that my existing fish got a good home. Justin and his staff were very helpful and professional.The guys did a great job removing the tank and fish from my home. Very friendly and caring and not a drop of water on the floor.I would definitely recommend this service.

2022-04-05We have an indoor koi pond with a small water fall. It started making a big noise when we turned on the pump and the water flow was sluggish. Justin responded to our request for service very quickly. The service person came as scheduled, was knowledgable with our pump and filter system, cleaned the filters and adjusted things, and the water was running smoothly in no time. He also showed me a couple of easy things I could do myself, including clean the filter underneath the skimmer. The next day I was just going to check on that filter, but pulled the skimmer while the pump was running. All of the sudden, sounded like some water got sucked in, then the waterfall slowed down, and eventually almost nothing was running. I called Justin right away, who stayed on the phone with me for a good 30-40 min (to avoid another service visit and save me the cost), to trouble shoot and pin down the problem. Eventually, I got the pump running again. I am very happy and grateful for the in person service and the help over the phone, and highly recommend this company!
