Crab Rangoon yummy! Nice crisp nice amount of filling and werent greasy. House special soup flavorful and hearty. Husband loves the chicken wings. Son enjoyed his sweet and sour chicken. Quick delivery and extremely friendly. So far no complaints from us.
Do NOT eat here!!! Just had their food a couple days ago and Ive been super sick with food poisoning ever since. Ive heard people hacking up a lung in the kitchen. They are not sanitary at all. If you dont want to get sick, dont eat here!
This place has the worst service EVER! I have been a loyal customer for many years but it has come to an end. They messed up my order and refused to fix it. I will never waste my money at this place.
Not bad. The food was fresh but didnt stand out or impress. Gone back a few times for quick pickup. I really wish they used a little more spice in the cooking. Still its worth it if youre looking to make a quick pickup of Chinese take-out. Decent parking options.
Never again, very disappointed. Please dont spend your money or let your family spend their hard working money at this tasteless establishment. They made a mistake with our orders and when we did call to explain we were toldthat next time we order again it will not happen and theres no way they can credit us for the wrong order we got . Worst crab Rangoon ever! Tough and chewy and not hot or warm. Sweet and sour sauce couldve been better. Shrimp was mostly batter which didnt taste bad but the texture was strange. Will not order from here again. Especially at these prices for mediocre food

We get Chinese food from here every couple weeks because its super convenient as well as super delicious. I cant really comment on the dining in experience, but its the same as most places of comparable price.The food has always been of top quality and normally done very quickly. I always get the boneless spare ribs combo. The pork is always moist and the sauce is delicious. The pork fried rice is always tasty and the egg-rolls are great!
Usually have a good experience here. But today when I called to place order the female who answered the phone was rude. I can understand that at times it can get busy because I heard other phone ringing. But u still have to have great customer service.
Severely disappointed in quality of food and service in the past few months. Used to be our go-to Chinese take-out, but will never be going back. Food quality has dropped. Soup went from a clear base to dark color. Fried items have been black and burned, as if cooked in old oil.Final straw - Missing items that we paid for. Called to ask if they could redeliver - mistakes happen and they were busy, but we want out food. They told me no and said if we wanted them we could drive and come in to pick them up.Well find another take-out.
Good food. The inside needs a little updating and cleaning however the food was good. The pieces of chicken were huge. I do wish they were smaller more bite size, it was fork and knife necessary kinda big. THE LO MEIN IS INCREDIBLE. this by far had been the BEST take out for lo mein I have ever had. This place will never win any awards for best appearing restaurant or for how the presentation of their food but this isnt that type of place. I come here when Im craving take out Chinese food. I recently discovered their fried chicken wings with fried rice. The wings are fried with a nice crispy and tasty exterior. No fancy sauces, just the wings themselves. The wings ready within 10 minutes of placing your order and they come out piping hot. Probably my favorite item from this place.
Ive lived in this neighborhood for 15+ years. This WAS the best in Chinese food in buffalo. The past few years the business food quality has went DOWN. The new owners do not have what the last owners had which is CUSTOMER APPRECIATION and its showing in the quality of food their serving.
I have been going to taste good for years and enjoying their food but I will never ever go back there after my last time. I ordered the bean curd with garlic sauce and it was very tasty but for 2 days after I was very sick. Horrible stomach cramps and loose stool. Ive heard other reviewers stating the poor health conditions and now I believe it. I wish this had never happened b/c its one of my fav. chinese places in the area but they have lost me as a customer for life.
Food I got was very good, but was missing things due to lack of being able to communicate. The woman couldnt understand what I was trying to order so I had to wait to and add things once I got there which was annoying. Then they gave me shrimp and broccoli instead of beef and broccoli so I had to drive all the way back from south Buffalo. Then I ordered the chicken, shrimp, scallops, and mixed veggies from the diet section and when I got home and sat to eat there were no scallops and only 3 shrimp. Was going to call back and complain but having already took the long drive twice it didnt even seem worth it. I go out of my way to drive out here because the food is normally high quality, the difficulty to order is just making it not worth it anymore.
Love my Taste Good!I have been going to this fast food Chinese restaurant for a long time. Seems like 20 years. Definitely my favorite, fast, very reasonable, and very tasty Chinese food. My favorite dish is the szechaun chicken. I tried most of their popular dishes like the General Tso chicken and its all really excellent.Friendly staff. Always tip on the way out. Ill be going there for another 20 years.
Have been going to this place for over 25 yrs. Food is very good and if I dont feel like cooking can go there to get a quick meal. On a side note was also fun to watch the owners children grow up.
Love the General Tso chicken and steamed dumplings. Better to take out. Prices are good. Parking lot there but can sometimes be difficult to park your car. Be careful!
The only Chinese restaurant I will order from in Buffalo, NY, Period! Eat in, takeout or delivery. My favorite is the Shrimp egg foo young. The always give me fresh patties and gravy on the side just like I want. I love it.

The women taking my order was very pleasant. And the food was very good and fast delivery ...she told me 40 mins and it was a half of hour will be ordering again ...called panda express at first the lady was not friendly at all like she didnt want to take my order at all asked if I can not get the egg roll and get a wonton soup and said NO!!! I MEAN really nasty and then order a few other things told me I couldnt have it delivered was 3 dollars short OMG again really I only live 6 blocks from them but any ways I rather order from taste good ...
Best little Chinese place I know. Im a proud regular. Its surely a hole in the wall building but they have great food and its always hot and always fresh. The chicken is always large cut pieces and the crab rangoon are amazing!
When I called the woman on the phone was quick and rude. They need to update their menu online because my order should have came to $10 and they charged me $15. I didnt receive my food yet, however I hope it taste delicious especially because of the upcharge.
I discovered Taste Good around 2000 and it has been the best place to get Asian food. I have never had a bad experience and have been able to watch the business grow into a well managed restaurant. Keep up the good work.
My family and friends and I have been going here for years after Shanghai Palace closed. The food is really good even though the place doesnt look like much. They always get my order correct and have the best egg foo young gravy.
Terrible!! So disappointed! For $11 i would have been better off eating with the kids at burger king! Grease was old and turned the chicken a shade of brown ive never seen and the sweet and sour tasted like soap! Just terrible!

If I could give them zero stars I would. They’re never consistent with the price and very rude over the phone. They tried charging me $16 for a $12 order just because it was 30 minutes before they closed then told me in an hang up when I addressed her about the price change. Never again.
Make sure to ask for eating utensils and specify exactly what you need. They dont automatically put it in the order. The delivery guy came back 2nd time, and still gave me NO spoons, while most of my order was soups.

Maybe the best chinese food in new york that isnt in manhattans china town. the singapore mei fun is out of sight - ask for it extra spicy. the general tsos chicken balls are comically large and extremely delicious. you can order $100 worth of food and it will be there in *20 minutes* no questions asked. go here and nowhere else if youre doing chinese in buffalo.

This is FAR AND AWAY the BEST spot for CHINEESE food. Im a simple man and order the chicken and rice combos of any flavor. The chicken is WHITE MEAT AND LARGE UNLIKE OTHER CHINEESE Rest. Who serve brown chicken and lots of batter little chicken.PRICE is ok, and it could Stand to be clean....Love this place :)
Admittedly I had my doubts going in, looks kind of seedy and not very appitizing. Luckily my girlfriend was with me and she some what of a regular and she convinces me to try it. We have been back several times and every time no matter what I get it is absolutely delicious! Definitely gonna be a regular here!
Horrible. The general and sesame chicken were just bad. Big nasty chicken that was hard to pull apart and tasteless. This food left not a “taste good” in my mouth. Yuck, never again!
Best Chinese I have found in buffalo. Sauces are more balanced and ingredients are better. By far the best sesame chicken. A little more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

More like “taste bad” I ordered vegetable lo mein and it had an odd plasticy taste and almost tasted like tap water. I ordered it with extra vegetables and it didn’t even have a normal amount of vegetables. Thoroughly disappointed.
They messed up my order, when I called to get it fixed they told me that it was right, and hung up on me. If you dont have the exact change they will keep the change part of your change and only give you the bills back. On top of the delivery fee.
The restaurant was very dirty. The shrimp chow fun was tasteless and terrible. The pork fried dumplings were decent.
Food had a weird smell to it when I opened it, Ordered chicken and Broccoli for take out on my lunch and when I got back to the car to have a bite not sure if what I got was exactly chicken. It didnt even have texture to it, just mushed. Also not very welcoming, place looks very old and out of style and feels dirty when you walk in. People are kind and friendly tho. Theres only 3 good places in buffalo and this is one of them. They give you savory great tasting food and whereas everyone else serves small crispy meat they give you big helpings which is why I recommend them to everyone ik!!!!

Never will order here again and I suggest anyone considering this place don’t place an order here it’s plenty of better option. They deserve 0 stars

2022-02-15Taste Good, in fact, tasted quite bad. I was going to make a comment that maybe the sesame tofu I had wasnt an item they make very often and so maybe they dont concentrate on it as much as chicken, pork, or other more common proteins and protein substitutes, but the fact that its right there in the description of their business now makes me kind of surprised that how terrible it was. There was a weirdly slimy outer layer around a very soft interior that fell completely apart and had rather abhorrent mouthfeel. My wife got some steamed pork dumplings, usually an easy win for places like this, but she reported at the end of her eating that it was okay at best, and shes usually pretty forgiving of any kind of food, Chinese takeout in particular. There are much better Chinese places to get within easy reach of this one.

I was craving Mai fun and didnt know anywhere else. Im sorry I did because I spent the night losing it from both ends. The most disgusting part was pulling a hair out of my mouth while doing so. Never again. People please be warned. Do not eat here. Sorry I had to be gross, but this was my reality

2021-11-04If I could give zero stars, I would. I will never ever eat at this place again! I ate half of my not very good general tso on my lunch break, only to find a cockroach in it. Good thing I did not eat it. I did get my money back, but I should call the health department on them. The place was filthy no wonder they have roaches and who knows what else.

2019-09-08Pretty good food, Id say the best in its local vicinity. I do love their crispy chicken with garlic sauce. They are pretty fast, like most Chinese restaurants. Just be ready to order and pay fast, usually. I guess the one woman at the counter was having a day, and not a very good one. Did not help that the person in line in front of us was a moron of nominal proportions. Anyway, typical Chinese fare and pricing. They do have a couple unique items on the menu. Ive been several times and will likely visit again.
