Very impressed after my first time here last night. Vibe is great. Food was surprisingly delicious. Ordered the ceviche which was average, oysters which I felt were slightly below average but my wife loved them and she never likes oysters so Im not complaining. Chicken tacos were AMAZING. To share we got the chaufa and PFC, both were really, really, good. Like so good that Im definitely coming back to try the other items.Drinks were the best part though. The bartender absolutely killed it. I ordered 2 tequila drinks off the menu that left me absolutely zapped. My wife described some flavors to the bartender that she liked and he made a custom hot toddy for her with rum, coconut cream, orange bitters and some other stuff. Absolute home run.We came here for a rare date/night and late anniversary celebration. The owners gave us champagne and all of the staff congratulated us. Live music really made the night special as well.Thank you TLW team and will see you again soon.
The Last Word is a superb place to eat and relax! The cocktails are custom and help create a truly unique dining experience. I personally love the taste of the Agua de Fuego, its a herbal cocktail and is smoothly refreshing. As a frequent “Sunday Jazz Night” visitor, tonight I tried the Last Word “Smash Burger” Sliders. They were delicious! If you’re in Huntington Village and are deciding we’re to dine tonight I highly recommend The Last Word! Bon Appetit 😊
What a great find! Granted, we only stopped in for drinks at the end of the evening, but the drink assortment was amazing! Our server, V, was incredibly knowledgeable, and our complex drinks (there were 4 in our party) were prepared to perfection, and were delicious and unique. Definitely a place to return to for a meal.
Fun, unique cocktails with delicious food to match.Cocktails arent cheap but the prices seem warranted given the intricate flavors and presentation.Food didnt fail to impress with each dish having amazing flavors, especially the skirt steak bread bowl!
Came with some friends to try this new place and I have to say they know what they’re doing here! Drinks are great and the food has lots of flavor. Most of the dishes aren’t huge portions but it is still pretty filling and a great place to come with friends and family. Very nice vibe and the staff and service was amazing as well.
For starters we had the Mussels and Tostones Sliders. Im looking forward to having both the next time Im back. The Lucky 13 and The Word cocktails were both awesome too. I wont tell you what Hot Plates we had only that they were delicious! Both my girl and I were very happy. The waitress was too notch. She explained the dishes and drinks flawlessly. I went here as a recommendation from a friend. The food was terrible and the drinks were not as good as expected. I do have to credit for the presentation and the customer service which is why I am giving 2 stars. Everything else was bad, no music to enjoy, the ceviche was super small, and the menu didnt even have a large variety of items to pick from. When. we finally decided to order they didnt have what we wanted available. I wouldnt go back.
Cocktails and food are absolute trash, but the music is even worse. Go here if you want to meet people in their late 20s/early 30s who still live with their parents!
When I tell you this food is good, this food is good!!! It is my first time here and this is one of my top 3 already I would recommend the Lomo. The drinks are really good as well I had the Pisco Sour. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family, I promise you, you won’t be disappointed if you come here.
Limited menu but very tasty. Bar area is festive but quite noisy which can be heard in the dining room. If youre more in the mood for a quiet dinner I would recommend not going on a weekend.
So happy this place opened up in Huntington. Great vibe, great crowd. Food was delicious. Ordered the Ceviche Mixto - so fresh and delicious. Also the Papa Rellena - cooked perfectly, crispy and tasty! And the Jalea - to die for. Seafood perfectly fried, sauces were amazing! Cocktails were SO enjoyable. Ordered the pisco passion and the strawberry honey high- amazing and so fun! Can’t wait to go again. Lots of different options for seating- in the bar area up front, back dining room, and also outdoor seating in the front and on the back patio. GREAT addition to Huntington. Will be back!

Just moved to Huntington area from NYC and found this gem. On par with the best Peruvian food in Manhattan (my humble opinion). Mean pisco sour. Ceviche is excellent.

You must go to The Last Word! Not only were the cocktails and food phenominal, the staff was friendly, prompt and so helpful. Do yourself a favor and head to the The Last Word, as its the last meal you would request if you were on death row.

The Last Word is a very trendy Peruvian fusion bar. The bar staff are professional and the bar is maintained well. The drinks were phenomenal however the bar food to snack on was ok. I would say the ceviche needs improvement while the chicken tacos were good. I would recommend this place if one wants to stop by to chill and drink
Went here for a private party. Food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. They had awesome cocktails.
Ambiance was unforgettable, food delicious, drinks true mixology, Jazz was fabulous to be a audience to, service was fantastic. Obviously will be coming back, surprised I didnt know about this special place prior. Everyone should look into visiting at least a few times. Thank you for an amazing night!!!

2021-09-23Probably the best Peruvian food I’ve had on Long Island. I really enjoyed the craft cocktails and the awesome food. The service was excellent and they were very friendly. I think my favorite was the ceviche. It was so fresh. Huge drink menu and some excellent cocktails also.

2022-08-10Amazing new restaurant. The food was so good and I loved the Peruvian twist. Everyone in our party enjoyed their dinner. My favorite was the potato croquettes with the flank steak as a close second! But everything was really great. Service was top notch and the drinks were also original and really yummy. Great vibe and decor as well as a super convenient location right in the middle of town with parking behind. Definitely worth a visit! This is my new favorite!

The waiters and waitresses are committed to great service and are friendly.The atmosphere is awesome with such a chill vibe. Very different from the other loud local restaurant/bars from the village.Most importantly, every food and drink on the menu tasted great!

2022-07-21This was our first time visiting and Rosie was our waitress for the night! Saying Rosie was exceptional would be an understatement. She gave us fantastic advice for what to order on the menu and also had a great sense of humor! Would definitely come back to the restaurant in the future because of her amazing hospitality! Also food was more than delicious!!!

2022-08-24Been here a few times now and this spot is a refreshing breath of fresh air in the Huntington scene. Took the wife and father-in-law to dinner and tried a ton of dishes and we really loved the variety of flavors. Cocktails are unique and delicious as well, highly recommend.

2022-07-09The service, food and cocktails are all excellent. I want to give this place five stars. But as an industry professional, I need to provide some feedback that might be helpful. First, the music. When we were there, it was a loud, heavy-metal playlist - something that doesnt really fit with the aesthetic and vibe of this hip, Peruvian spot, and isnt conducive to a dining experience.Second, we couldnt escape the sounds of a group of women in the front bar who were cackling, laughing/screaming so loudly, that we heard them all the way in the back dining room. This was a big distraction from a pleasant birthday dinner. I would hope management can somehow communicate to guests that theyre not entitled to act anyway they want without considering those around them.Well be back, and hopefully, have a milder, kinder experience with some amazing dishes, prepared beautifully by a wonderful staff.
