My Brother and I wandered in here because it was close to our hotel. What a find! We had a great time talking about our mutual Navy experiences while the food was cooking, enjoyed a great breakfast in a back-home atmosphere. The process of ordering is unique and efficient, projecting a make-yourself-at-home feeling. This is a huge diner in a deceptively small package. Anyplace that is a local favorite, such as this, as judged by the clientele, has to be good. This will be a must-stop anytime I visit the North Country. We wish you success going forward and well see you on our next trip! Youre doing it right!
Went for the first time today and the food was AMAZING! I love their self-serve coffee bar and the ordering system is fast and convenient. The croissant breakfast sandwich was probably the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had!! Really! And then, the owner came over and introduced himself, chatted a bit and gave us a plate of bananas foster stuffed french toast to try, on the house! Reasonable prices, clean place and friendly staff.NEW FAVORITE PLACE!!
AMAzing!! I encourage everyone I know to eat here and support our local veteran owned business. The food is so good! Never had a bad meal here! The owners, Tim and Melanie, have a unique system that helps them learn your name, which makes you feel like family, whether you go one time or many, like my hubby and I do. Please check them out! And if you like sausage gravy, you definitely wont be disappointed!! Best ever!!
The food here is beyond exceptional, as is the service. A small, quaint, family owned establishment thats very warm and inviting. Nothing typical about this place, especially when it comes to the food. The delicious, homemade waffles are made with an orange zest and the Bananas Foster deep dish French Toast is simply amazing. Coffee is a solid brew as well. You really cant miss here! By far the best breakfast you will ever have the pleasure of enjoying, hands down! The Lifted Cup elevates breakfast to a whole new level!
Wonderful food. (I personally ordered a waffle burger!) Owner was there to greet us at the door while visiting with others and made sure we were all set with the ordering procedure. Relaxing atmosphere and we could even see the staff working on our order! Will definitely be back.
We were on our way home from Adirondack Region when we experienced car trouble. We found a great Auto Repair shop Nimeys that helped us get back on the road in a couple of hours. We stopped at the Lifted Cup for lunch and needed a place to wait for repairs to our vehicle. We are very glad we found the Lifted Cup.The food was great and great price. The owner was very personable and made our brief stay very enjoyable. We are going to make the Lifted cup a stop when we travel to the mountains. We are very happy and comforted to know that a place /staff like this exists.
Lets see what I have had to eat so far... and all was delicious! I had the taco salad on Cinco de Mayo and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh. I had the country omelette which was also delicious. And then Ive recently tried the eggs benedict and that was cooked perfectly for me. It probably would have even been better had I ate in but our entire office ordered from there and considering how many to go orders there were , my eggs benedict were still delicious over corned beef hash on an English muffin. I love this place I cant wait to try something else next time!
Amazing Food!!! Had the corned beef hash special (definitely should be permanently on menu) and it was some of the best that I’ve had in any of my travels. Wife had the breakfast sandwich with croissant and loved it as well. Great atmosphere, super friendly and definitely worth hitting up for tasty breakfast. Might even come back for lunch 😂

2022-05-06First time going there and we were not disappointed. They did a great job cooking for us and providing a somewhat self service and unique ordering system. The food was great and so was the service. Looking forward to going back again. Anyone traveling through is sure to miss it since its location is very humble, but well worth trying to find and stop for. Dont miss it if you can help it!

2022-07-02An extremely tasty, locally owned breakfast spot! Very friendly staff. The Lovey Dovey omelette was so good - fresh spinach & tomatoes, feta, and ham. Eggs were very fluffy. The bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich was also extremely delicious! Well definitely be back!

2022-05-21Had breakfast while waiting for my car to be fixed. Clean, friendly, welcoming Cafe with self serve & unlimited coffee bar, amazing variety to the menu. The chef came to my table when he didnt recognize me, and we had a lovely conversation. Every table was full on a Friday at 10am. I had the daily special avocado toast. Free wi-fi as well!

2022-02-26A wonderful gem in the Adirondack foothills. Very flexible creative chefs that obviously love food and people. Tried something new a never had a Greek bagel and it was amazing. Coffee was very good as well. If you have not been here your missing out on a great experience and great eats.

2022-05-25We placed a to-go order while traveling and experienced some of the best hospitality around. The food was out of this world and the service was friendly and helpful. The breakfast sandwich on an asiago bagel was delicious, the turkey sandwich came with dressed greens and a side of tortellini pesto salad, and the grilled chicken salad was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast or lunch. They also had a large coffee bar with many different types of sweeteners, flavors, creamers etc. Five stars.

2021-04-18I happen to know the owner and chef, Ive been eating his food for nearly 23 years and its some of the best Ive ever eaten! I always tell people I married him for his gravy ;) His sausage gravy will convert any non-sausage gravy loving people! His quiches are the best, and his 1 egg Love Omelets are my absolute favorites for breakfast!

2022-04-22Busy, friendly and casual. We had salads that were fresh and well prepared. The self service seemed complicated because we werent expecting it. There seemed to be a great number of little signs everywhere instructing patrons on locations of appropriate cups and silverware. We were admonished not to use coffee cups for our water..and there was an unnecessary bell one is asked to ring on your way out.

2021-05-24This is a fully self service cafe. You order on paper when you enter. Food was ok. Ham was very salty and resembled deli ham. Eggs Benedict were cooked using a forming mold and home fries looked frozen. My biggest turn off was the plastic utensils. If youre using plastic utensils you are fast food as is McDonalds and Burger King.

2022-02-09Exceptional meal in a cozy environment! Todays special, The Cupid, a sandwich featuring tender roast beef and horseradish, presented a nearly perfectly balanced flavor profile. The side of honey & bacon potato salad was exceptionally composed, and the salad of mixed greens provided a stellar balance. Other meals at the table looked equally delicious, and were lauded by those at our table. Kudos! We will be back!
