The Trap in other cities:
Went here for a brunch on a Sunday. Food was fantastic and came out promptly. Cinnamon Roll French Toast was the best French toast I ever tasted. 3 stars come from the service. We were one of just 4 tables. Took us almost as long to get our drinks as it did our food and all that were ordered were beers and a couple mimosas. Never came back to see if we wanted more drinks or how the food was. The chef came out and asked how everything tasted and was extremely friendly. Sad when your chef has better table service than your service. Ill be back again for the food.
I cant recommend this place highly enough for folks who love great craft beer. Comfortable, laid-back atmosphere and ADK decor, incredible variety of the best beers in the state and in New England... not to mention their delicious IPA collaboration (its called No Implications) with Bloodville Brewery. Yall are doing things right. Keep it up. Ill be back for sure!
My partner and I finally stopped in last night for a beer and tacos after passing by The Trap a handful of times and always being intrigued.First, we were blown away that they had options for VEGAN tacos! Which are always a difficult find. Second, they were DELICIOUS. Like, WOW delicious. It was a beautiful unseasonably warm November evening, so we sat out in the patio and then shifted to the huge firepit area while we lounged in Adirondack chairs under twinkle lights. The chef/owner came to check on us and asked how our meals were. We raved to her about the tacos and vegan options and she was so friendly in sharing about their start in Fort Ann and their goal to create a welcome and inviting place (mission accomplished). We talked Kombucha and her father in law’s creative chemist hand at crafting their in house offerings. She returned a few minutes later with samples of the kombucha AND vegan gluten free cupcakes she had been baking that day. We ate them after we got home, and have been talking about how great they were all day today. If you haven’t checked out this friendly, laid back, fun, and hip spot yet- it’s worth the drive from wherever you’re coming from. Definitely check them out!We look forward to another taco night or brunch sometime soon!
I really like that it was locally owned farm to table type of experience with the chefs and the brew I Sam play with their for quick brew and they had the finest on time bruh the owner happened be there and they chefs were right there in the background these folks are open to all kinds of transitions and have an innovative menu and tap selection that should attract any folk

2022-01-21We have passed this place several times and finally had the chance to stop. It was awesome! I can’t recommend it enough. First, excellent beer menu. The owner Mike, was so inviting and helped with excellent beer selection. Second, food was unreal. I had the cheesesteak (and I’m from Philly)- it was excellent! My husband had the chicken schnitzel- equally excellent. Parm sweet potato fries were awesome too. Third, ambiance was awesome. Everyone was so nice and inviting to these out-of-towners. We were there later on a Thursday, but could tell by the games that it would be a fun place to hang with friends. Highly recommend!!! Stop if local or passing through!

2022-05-14Hidden gem in between Vermont and the outlets at Lake George. Large enough for events. Good food & drinks with great staff that have an impeccable music playlist. I DJd there recently and was embraced like I was part of the staff. Get there.

2021-11-23What an incredible place for Sunday brunch. The menu was absolutely amazing. Delicious food paired with a mimosa or even a craft beer. Was in town for the weekend and this was hands down the best place I visited on my trip. Cannot wait to visit again! Thank you so much for the hospitality!

2021-07-03Every time I have to travel on 149 I try to stop here. The staff is great (shout out most recently to Julie!) and the place is comfy and spacious. The tap rotations are on point but the treasure it the to go four packs. A great variety and depth and this comes from a self proclaimed hops head who lives in the beer state of Vermont! So glad to see them re-emerge from the pandemic closure. I missed them, their warmth and knowledge when it comes to good picks for all tastes!

2021-09-23Great service, food and beer selection on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Outside seating was perfect for us and our k9, especially after our hike we took just prior. Well be visiting again for sure!

2021-07-08The place has potential, but when we got there almost everything was not available on tap and only in cans (hence 2 vs 3 stars). No food was listed anywhere. Also, there only seem to be a couple people there and quiet. There is a lot of different types of beer, but no true tasting room.
