Literally the dumbest clerk. Dropped off an important shipment for next day air at 2pm , asked the clerk if it would be shipped out the same day. For some reason dont think he understood the question and low and behold, it wasnt shipped out. Was sitting there overnight and i had to go pick it up and re ship at another location
The owner of this store is completely insensitive and unhelpful. I tried to use this location as a pick up spot for my package and they told me that I did it incorrectly? They refused to give me my package and accused me of illegally using their location for pick ups. Will never use this location again and I highly recommend that all stay away unless you want to get yelled at for using their services.
I wish UPS had another store in the area. Unfortunately, after the Staples location closed down, this one is the closest UPS store. The lady at the counter is courteous, but the same cannot be said of the gentleman and sadly he’s the owner of the store. All interactions that I’ve had with him so far have been unfriendly - basically about packaging items even if they are under Amazon’s drop-off option, or buying a whole roll of tape even if the box is smaller than 6 inches long. I wouldn’t mind the purchases if he would at least word it nicely.
100% agree with most of the 1-star reviews. rude, insensitive - yes I agree with all those descriptions. Tried to ship a box there and I realized I forgot to tape up the top. I saw a tape gun on their counter and asked if I could borrow it and the rude owner said no and asked me to buy a new roll of tape. Would give a 0 if I could. Taking my future business to FedEx for sure, and I hope that you go out of business soon!!
The worst customer service OF ALL! The owner is very rude, disrespectful, every time I go and hes the one attending I leave the store amazed how someone can be like that to his customers.I wish there were another store on this location.The lady and the young man are nice but theyre rarely there.
Horrible customer service. I brought in an amazon return and was told I needed to bring in the box it was shipped in. I went home to get the box and returned to be told it now had to be taped and sealed. I was then offered the opportunity to purchase tape. There are too many other UPS stores out there, no need to give business to this one.
Im not sure why all the bad reviews. I have been coming to this UPS store for more than ten years. The owner is helpful, knowledgeable and willing to spend his time helping me to find the best possible way to send my packages, especially to my family who live outside of New York. I would never go anywhere else and always come to this store when I have to send any package. Ive always had excellent and courteous service.
Unfortunately, this is the closest UPS location to my home, so I have had two bad experiences here. The first involved a gratuitous overcharging for standard shipping which was quoted at $70 , I later went to the UPS store on Central which charged me $20 to ship the same package.In the second incident, the owner refused to accept a UPS delivery on my behalf, and when I went to pick it up he was extremely hostile. It turns out he refused to accept delivery and sent the truck away.Thankfully I got in touch with customer service and the wonderful UPS truck driver actually drove his truck back to get the delivery to me, apparently the owner was extremely rude to the driver as well. Otherwise I would have been charged a separate fee.Please avoid this store and instead spend your money at one of the many more deserving small businesses elsewhere.
Worst service ever!!! I contacted this store because I lost my receipt. These people would not look up my transaction. Finally I got the tracking number on my own called back and the guy would not track my package! I manage a UPS store myself, and for this man to tell me oh my tracking number isnt a tracking number at all is really sad. He wouldnt even attempt to type it in I got to the fourth number before he was like oh no thats not a tracking number. Told me oh, well if I have the number why cant I just do it myself! Thats not the point Im asking for your help my package was shipped from your store two days ago and theres no info on it online at all! From what I heard from another UPS store in the area they do this to a lot of their customers!! Very frustrating you should not be a business owner! You are setting a horrible reputation for UPS!! Owner is an @$$&07#.He refused to explain why the online estimate was different then his much higher price. Then he proceeded to kick my package towards me while telling me to leave. A simple explanation of the pricing would have sufficed.Do not use this store!!!!UPS need to investigate this owner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went in to find out how much it would cost to ship a package. I observedthe owner of this store being very impatient, hostile and extremely discourteous to a very elderly man that was in front of me. That didnt change when I approached him, he had the same nasty attitude !!!
Had an open box and shipping label. The guy said you want to ship it open? I said no, do you have a bit of tape for an 6-inch box. He said we have to charge you. I said that’s crazy and your going to ship it as an open box and he said that’s your choice. It had an iPhone inside going back to Verizon. I went a mile to Staples. They taped it up without saying anything and knew what they were doing. Asking if I was sure I wanted to ship it open should have been my first sign to run.
The owners have no clue about customer service. They act like theyre doing you a favor when you go in to spend your money or exercise a return that is being paid for by the vendor. If you need something notarized its completely hit-or-miss if the notary will be there. It seems to be a husband and wife team with the wife being the notary and the man will be extremely vague about when his wife will return. If you leave a single scrap of paper the male owner will tell you to throw it away. Absolutely no customer focus or service. They should close and let another, more customer focused owner take over.
Yea I thought it was just me but the people there are very very rude and have no sense of customer service. Thankfully I’m usually there to only drop off a prepaid package and no more. But even during those short interactions there’s a sense of just no giving a you know what. Glad I don’t have to do regular business with them. If I did, I’d likely go to Elmsford.
Terrible customer service. I understand that this is not a pick up depot, but he didnt have to be rude. Then hoping that I could drop off a package here that UPS was suppose to pick up at my apartment, he was rude again. WHAT DOES THIS STORE EVEN DO? Not pick up and drop off for UPS
Horrible, horrible customer service. The location was completely understaffed and the one person on hand could not have been ruder or less helpful. Essentially threw my documents back at me and muttered - didn’t even attempt to explain nicely - that he couldn’t help me. No further assistance at all offered.
I walked out of here completely upset. The man (owner, I assume) was terribly rude bad bad energy. I had to control myself becasue I was with my daughter. I will never again step foot in the place and will drive out of my way to avoid having to come here ever again. Yes, that bad.

2022-05-14I wanted to leave a review for this company because I believe they have improved and are trying hard to deliver better customer service than in the past. Yes, the male owner of this franchise is very unpleasant, but the past several times I have been here, they have new people up front who have been totally pleasant to deal with. The mean owner seems to be working only in the back now, or most of the time. Good move. Probably better for him too if he dislikes working with people. My past several experiences her have been very positive and I’m happy to do business with them again.

2022-01-26Beware of taking Amazon returns here; Amazon gives you the option to return items via your local UPS location for free, and UPS is responsible for packing and sending your items back. But the owner here actually charges separately to do that, and he is not supposed to; He just charged me $12 for a brown box. I feel bad that there isnt another UPS location closer for the local people here who get stuck using this location.

2022-02-03Please save yourself the aggravation and Dont use this particular location. Its my first Ever 1 star review but if i could i would put 0 stars. The worst customer service. Extremely rude owner(male). Too bad its convenient location for the area as nothing closer around locally. But its worth the trip to a different place especially if you are sending something urgent. Do not use this place!

2022-01-13When I’m disappointed enough to write a review I usually give 2 stars because it’s more credible and doesn’t read as too angry. Not for these guys though. Brought. A frame photo 18”x 28” already wrapped in brown paper WITH the address on it to ship to our kid at college. Paid the exorbitant price of $100 for extra packaging and shipping. Filled out the label and, not wanting to hold up the line, believed them when they said they’d wrap & stick label on later. I mean, the address ON the picture matched the Address on the shipping label. But the kid just FaceTimed from the dorm to show us the lovely small wrapped presents for “George”. So now some guy named George didn’t get his Christmas presents and our child doesn’t have an expensively framed + extra for plexiglass (bc dorm room) phot of her & her sister surfing. Avoid this UPS store at all costs or wait until you SEE your item with a label on it.

2022-04-26The management at this UPS is disgusting. The older male with glasses is unprofessional, rude, and mean . He yelled at me for asking a simple question about printing . I’ll never go here again. Please save yourself the aggravation !

2020-10-12The Store owner is amazingly insensitive. Forget about customer service, basic human courtesy seems to be far fetched. I had a UPS Pickup for a large study table which I thought I could go and drop instead of coordinating a UPS pickup since I had a few other items lined up too for amazon returns. He, very rudely , not only refused to help but when I requested to allow me to keep my item behind for a few minutes so I can park my car in the rain, he asked me to immediately remove it and sort it out elsewhere! I had to then pick up my stuff in the rain, sort out the return label in the car with amazon and return back again to the store to drop it again. ! Wish I could take a few stars away...
