The team at 266 Elmwood Avenue - UPS is always so friendly and very professional. Each employee goes out of their way to help each customer to insure they receive excellent service. Sara and her team make sure you are well taken care of. Ive been using their services for my personal and business shipping and receiving since 2010 and have absolutely no complaints. They efficiently handle large volumes of packages... Im quite impressed.
I have had a mail box in this location/store since 2009!I have never had a parcel lost, misplaced or unaccounted for!So, I have nothing but praises for their servicesAs a US educated busy professional who resides in Canada,it makes sense, for me to have a mailing address in the US.This store is under 5 minutes drive from the Forte Erie/Peace BridgeStaff and ownership are good peopleHighly recommendedBen
Dont trust anything they say. Get it in writing and get a receipt. I had closing documents that needed to be overnight-ed where I had a printed label. I thought it was for UPS but when I arrived the attendant noticed it was FEDEX. She said thats fine, well take it and call Fedex for a pick up. She charged me $5.00 put the label on the envelope. Then when it didnt arrive I went back and confronted her, and she said it went out this morning (it didnt). The manager also lied and said it went out. It never did. Totally untrustworthy!
We used this UPS store in 2017 when we needed to ship things from Buffalo to Southern California. We had many delicate glass/china items from my aunt who had passed away, mostly teacups & milk glass. Everything was packed wonderfully and there was no breakage whatsoever!
Manager names ERIC is extremely rude and unprofessional. Lazy to say the least. They said our name wasn’t on the package but obviously the package was sent to somebody just didn’t want to take the time to look. OWNER Sheila/shaylee whatever her name is says she doesn’t care about UPS she’s her own franchise. She said she doesn’t want to be an access point but UPS forces her to be an access point. Cashier came towards me clapping her hands trying to talk to me so i clapped back LOUDER and said what is all the clapping about !! Very unprofessional store super ghetto!
I am in the process of slowly moving items to a new home out of state. I can count on The UPS Store to answer all my questions and then carefully wrap my items and send them on there way. I have had two antique family pieces sent and due to the packaging they arrived in perfect condition. I rely on the STORE!
We have been using the UPS store for P.O.box and other services for about five years now, they do an amazing job and we are glad that we found them. Sara and Mike are great people and always helping us to grow our business.

I arrived early, along with a cyclist. It was a cold morning and as we were waiting outside, the UPS man invited us in, saying he couldnt helps until 9AM but we could at least be warm. We were very grateful and as soon as the clock struck 9, he started to help us. and was very efficient.
For years now this place has received our mail and its been wonderful! From the time that Sarah and team took over, the store has grown and grown and grown! A great, safe place, to receive packages and also an excellent mail forwarding service!

Professional, courteous, always friendly, efficient, and lots of handy services including online transactions like sending in files to the store from home or business for printing, copying, or other processes! This UPS store is the best of its kind of Buffalo. I have been going there since before the new owners bought it and they have been nothing but the best in customer service and friendly attitude. If you need a mailbox or just need help mailing stuff, come here. I can not say enough good things about them. I have been a box holder for over 6 years now.

These are great folks to work with. I dealt with them for many years, and they handled a number of special circumstances. They were always easy to talk to on the phone. I only left because I moved.
The people that work here are extremely nice and helpful. I went to OfficeMax to get documents bound and was told to come back in 24 hours, so I came to this UPS store and got them done within 15 minutes. Love this place...
I often pick my package at the store, they say my stairs are loose at 550 Busti Avenue, Buffalo NY 14201. However, I fixed it myself and everything is okay now, they can keep dropping my package in my mail.
It can sometimes be busy here, but the wait is never long. Everyone here is very kind and helpful. I had some motor issues last year so a guy came out of the store to help me with a return!
The Elmwood Store for UPS is conveniently located with plenty of parking. The staff are always friendly and helpful. When they advise you your package is in, it is in and they have no difficulty locating it for you.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The owner was downright confrontational and extremely disrespectful. I would recommend going elsewhere when dealing with shipping/returns/any UPS business. They give the franchise a horrible name.
Extremely unprofessional and disrespected staff.. I would highly recommend somewhere else to go to for printing.. Very rude and dishonest, Ive been twice to this place for printing off of my email in both trips I was overcharged with bad attitude.. They tell you its only 19cents for black and white when its time to pay they charge you $3 for what they call downloading fee to use the internet plus.54 cent per paper when you ask why thats when the attitude gets in and they reply next time you have to chose black and white option, blind its black and white cant you see? Well we cant really tell we still charge you for color printing price, unless you tell us.. Dump and high way robbery..
Used them for US order storage location and ended up paying 5 times the cost that I should have been charged because of their stupid policy that each component in one shipment in another package. They knew that my order was all part of one shipment but refused to budge. DO NOT use them for your storage needs.
The worse place to do business, they charge $3 just to print their own labels.. If u dropping of for a carrier other than than you get charge $7, regardless of the carrier coming there anyways. I been to numerous ups never have I had an experience such as this. They will charge you even if you sneeze

Had (still have) a mailbox here over 15 years. Never a problem. Costs are reasonable and service is great. Those complaining about costs... LMAO, try running a business! Want them to do your stuff for free? LOL!
Great Location, able to accept large packages (for a fee, understandable) very helpful and always busy except late on the day before a holiday. Notification by email of incoming packages and always helpful. Ive been going here for almost five years now, with no issues.

Friendly staff and they are actually willing to help you if you need it. This location has a copy machine which comes in handy. They also make it super easy to return Amazon packages.

Every time I drive in, I just get to the line, pay and get my packages. Depending on the time, it can be in an instant and others, a bit longer.Great care overall though!
A tad overpriced. Wanted to charge me something like $180 to ship a desktop computer, went to the post office and it was like $35-40. Only good if you have a prepaid label and you just need a drop off point.
I went in and found they have a space for packages with a label on it. So all I had to do was drop my package in the box and head out. I love not having to wait in line.
The UPS Store is always so wonderful to us- they are in constant communication and always ensure our packages get to us safe and sound.

When I filed a complaint with UPS Store corporate Mike the owner called it harassing his employees to complain. He said he didnt have to do what UPS Store brand dictates in his store.
I have used this store since 2012 and have found them consistently helpful and knowledgeable. They know their business, which is important to my business.
The staff went above and beyond while helping me ship Artwork to Florida. I would highly recommend this store it is run by some people who truly wanna help you out.
Please use these folks. Bought an item from a local vendor and needed it shipped. All the vendor did was drop it off at this shop. They took care of the rest, packing a fragile item VERY carefully.

2022-02-10I had an issue with sending my package to a friend in NYC I had called the location to rectify the situation. The manager Eric was bluntly rude and inconsiderate. He didn’t even let me explain my problem. Which was input in the system that the employee put my address as the recipient instead of sender. I paid $80.00 basically for a package to get sent right back to me. I would not recommend this company for business at all because of his attitude and professionalism.

2021-12-14I paid $4 to print two, yes two pieces of paper! I usually go to FedEx print shop but UPS was closer to my house. What a mistake!! I printed two copies in color on 32pound paper. Should be a cost of between $1.00 -$ 1.40 but then they tacked on email- whatever that means and docked another $3.00! I was in such a hurry to not be late for work I didn’t question them but did request a receipt to look it over and I am pretty angry! I enclosed the pic so everyone can see! Nice scam they’re running. Will never go there again! FedEx print shop is MUCH cheaper!!!!!

2021-12-10Most of the staff are great, however, theres one employee named Erik who I believe is the manager. Erik is rude to the other employees in a way thats totally unacceptable and actively prevented the line of customers from moving. I went here to have a packaged returned, not to listen to this manchild make a fool of himself by belittling his coworkers in shouts from across the room. Extremely unprofessional, I feel bad for the other employees putting up with him.

2021-02-01Thank you UPS Elmwood!! I am a local Buffalo artist who ships my art all over the world via UPS. Last week I chose to have you package a painting (I have never entrusted this to anyone else, I have always packaged my art to ensure its safety). In order to make things easier on me and ensure expedited shipping, I decided to use your Pack and Ship guarantee for the first time. SUCCESS! The painting arrived FASTER than expected (thank you) and my customer just told me that the art was packaged PERFECTLY (thank you!!). I am very happy I chose your Pack & Ship guarantee...the first time of many. Ill stop in the store soon to thank the manager who packaged my art.

2021-07-20Absolutely terrible! Staff are rude, seem really, really angry for some reason with zero customer service skills. They act like the customer is an inconvenience to them - what a way to run a business! I would rather drive out of town to a UPS store than deal with the people in this one. I wish it was possible to give zero stars!

2021-02-09We made a purchase from a USA vendor that wont ship to Canada. We requested The UPS Store to receive the package on our behalf and then arrange shipping to Canada. They made it very easy and convenient. We highly recommend this UPS store. Prompt and friendly service.

2020-10-23Service is always good at the Elmwood Avenue UPS store but during the past few months when Ive been unable to get over the border to Buffalo, it has been exceptional. The staff have forwarded parcels and mail that was stuck in Buffalo to my Canadian address quickly, professionally and in a very helpful, friendly manner. I cant thank them enough for the service they provide and the spirit in which they do it.
