This is the only UPS store I trust. I have been using their services for over a year at this point, and they have never disappointed me. I frequently ship very large items, and I take the trip up from Manhattan, where I live, to this UPS store in Yonkers, because they are so good. Amy, who I have the pleasure of dealing with most times I go there, is exceptionally good at her job, and does everything in her power to make sure that my packages are put together correctly and shipped promptly. I highly recommend this store for anybody shipping almost anything.
The delivery men are THIEVES! They will scan ur package as if it was dropped off to you so the message reads as delivered but in actuality they STOLE IT! I filed a report & that was a joke its been a whole year and NO RECOVERY... The merchant resent the product & I received it FEDEX! This is a trash place with no integrity.
Always a terrible experience in this location, just got told of I don’t make it by 3oclock inside that I won’t be able to ship my item. Mind you the person who told me worked in the store and was about 6 people ahead of me on the same line to get into the store. Where’s the sense?
The staff was outstanding. They were incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Everyone perfectly observed social distancing protocols, which made me feel safe while I was there, and that matters a lot these days. This was the best experience Ive ever had at a UPS store, or any other shipping store.
I had a horrible experience at this location. On a busy Monday with the line spanning outside onto the sidewalk to maintain social distance , I waited on line for my turn and was finally next to approach the counter when I realized that I forgot my phone in the car with information that I needed to complete my transaction. Leaving my packages in my socially distanced spot, I stepped outside to retrieve my phone and quickly returned before I was called only to realize that the security/doorman instructed two other patrons to go ahead of me and placed me at the back of the line.With great displeasure. I asked for the number to the regional manager to voice my disapproval of the lack of respect and equity, I was told that she was onsite(Amy). I spoke with her and shared my complaint to which she brushed aside with several excuses. She at no time addressed my complaint or a possible solution moving forward.As a customer tranascting business and following the guidelines of this establishment, UPS needs to provide equity training as well as maintaining positive customer service relationships. Highly disappointed in the service here!
Horrible service. There were 4 people left on line before 3. The security guard wasnt any help and rude at one point. The manager was rude, disrespectful and unprofessional when she came outside. She had the audacity to say. Im not here to argue. She sounded like a person off the street, not someone who holds the title of manager. Even a bank and or even the USPS, would have accepted the remaining customers. It doesnt take a long time to put labels on packages and scan them. At least be considerate and compassionate during this pandemic. For many of us, its our only day to take care of our personal business.Im very disappointed with the service at this location. Everyone has a job to do. We cant always leave right on time. Sometimes we have to work maybe 10 or 15 minutes after our schedule time to leave.
They never deliver their packages. My last delivery I had to chase down the delivery guy because he chose not to walk up the 5 flights of stairs so he lied and I caught him walking with my package back to the truck. Today they make my delivery unable to drop off BUT I have the option to leave at door. This is bull!
I tried to return a amazon purchase and was told do not label the package. when i got to this location i was told by an incontempt associate that i had to get a shipping label and specially told him that the amazon website instructed that i didnt need to print the shipping label and the associate tells me that he cant ship it out without a return label but yet i already have the return code. Evaluate your rules and procedure next time.
What a disappointment!!Arrived there at 2:40 and stood on line OUTSIDE with other customers in the cold. At exactly 3 o’clock the doors were locked and they wouldn’t take anymore customers stating that “ if I took anymore customers I wouldn’t leave on time”.?? The women Liz that locked the door left at 3:02 along with another man that worked there.Well if covid 19 wasn’t the situation then myself and the other customers would have been standing INSIDE on line and not outside, and we wouldn’t have been told to leave the store just because it turned 3 o’clock. Just because the store is officially closed doesn’t mean you just stop working, if customers got there before the closing time doesn’t that mean you are supposed to serve them??If you stood online in any other store.. pick one Gap, Macy’s, Rite Aid, FootLocker, BJs..if you got there before they closed they would serve you. Right? Well this place doesn’t work like that they will stop serving people at exactly the closing time, even if you got there earlier and stood on line for 20 minutes.I am not one to write reviews but this was very unprofessional and to add on top of that the way it was done was disgusting. The women that closed the door Liz didn’t care at all for the customers that were standing outside in the cold all she was worried about was getting out the door as soon as possible. She didn’t even want to hear anyone she just locked the door in everyone face.Be kinder, be better, and try just a little bit harder.
I’ve been using this location for years. Particularly during the pandemic they’ve been respectful of social distancing guidelines and for the most part, a pleasure to work with. Today I go in and all of a sudden, “since January,” per the emotionless associate, they charge $1.50 to put a bit of tape on a box. $1.50 for what? The labor of using a tape dispenser? No should have to shell out for a service that is at worst, a basic courtesy. It’s a no from me. I loathe pointless fees and given the financial constraints of the time, it’s tactless.
Very professional and know what they are doing.... I’ve read a few negative comments regarding rudeness... I have never experienced that... they are very aware of people waiting on a line and they are super efficient and don’t waste the customers time or their own. I have always had a positive experience.
Went in today to simply drop something prepaid off, the woman at the desk had a massive attitude, and wanted to make me wait in line to get a receipt. I told her I didnt need one. In response, she started made a public show of rolling her eyes at me, and muttering under her breath to the other two people in line.Obviously after that I no longer felt comfortable that my package would reach its destination, so i waited to get a receipt. So I stand in line, and then she invites someone who is in a different line to cut in front of me, then in a very condescending tone explains that it was because he was there first. I didnt have anything to say to that, but she continued to explain to me where she had let someone else go first.Sad situation, as I have been to this store many times ant they are always wonderful. The rest of the staff have been nothing be fabulous in previous times I have been here.
Sadly, customer service is lacking at all too many establishments these days. Not so at this UPS outpost! The staff were excellent. Helpful and professional the moment I walked in. It made a tedious packing and shipping task really pleasant. Though not close to home, this store is along my commute and Ill be using them for my future needs, exclusively.
Zero attention to detail, this is the second time I felt like I was rushed and did not feel comfortable leaving or sending my package at this location. If you are sending something valuable or feel nervous about making sure your package will arrive try a different ups location, again my review is based on two occasions!
Worst ups store I’ve been to. First time me going there I got an attitude I let it slide because people have bad days but the second time I had to write a review and hopefully it would change. I got an attitude from the same person on 2 different days I would much rather use the post office.
Terrible customer service.The lady who was at the store was super short and rude with me and the other customers. She was more worried about attending to two of her friends that were at the store.I have always used UPS on a weekly basis I and this was a new level of terrible customer service. Not what I would expect
If I could give ZERO stars I would. This is the most unprofessional business Ive ever been to. The owner was the only one working there on a Saturday. The guy in line before us had a red slip and he told him he couldnt find his package and what am I supposed to look through 600 packages?. This was not a good sign. It was our turn and I had heavy bundles of records and a box of books to ship across the country. He did not even weigh them. He said 16 dollars for everything? Then when he printed out one shipping label it was the wrong name and the address was spelled comically wrong. When I told him he said that it kept filling in this particular name and he didnt know how to change it. Then he said are you sure that this person didnt live there before? Absolutely ridiculous. Meanwhile there is a large line of people waiting. Then he says the computer froze. I dont know what to tell you. This is 30 minutes later mind you. So then we say what do you mean you cant send anything? You have to shut down the store?. And he says he does have to shut down the store and starts closing up shop! He lets one lady leave without paying for a bunch of zeroxes she made. He turns down a few people that are popping in as everyone is leaving the store, having waited on line for quite some time. It was insane and honestly he seemed like he was heavily sedated. It was strange and uncomfortable to say the least. So we take everything out of the store and he shuts it down behind us. He doesnt apologize. He actually seems annoyed at us. Then we go to another UPS store and boom they are finished within 5 minutes. It costs 233.00$ because it was weighed and actually done correctly! This is outrageous. UPS should not allow him to operate this store.
Family was away on vacation so I had a cell phone, a birthday present for my kid sent to the store so we would have it when we got back, turn out one of the reps there Riley took it upon himself to refuse the package because we did not call them first called ups and was told that no where in their policy do you have to call first, completely missed up my kids birthday
Ive never had such a horrible experience at UPS I mean the two ladies that did a time you were rude rude nasty unpleasant they were even fighting with each other just horrible customer service they need to really take a look at what is going on at this UPS location if anybody wants a pleasant and a nice experience at UPS Store go to the one in Mount Vernon stay away from this one p

2022-05-14Ive never been to any store where, the service was phenomenal, customer friendly, package processing was extremely fast.... This store had 2 female employees and the line moved quickly. These 2 ladies should be giving some type of recognition....They are the best employees Ive ever seen in the past 35 years of my life....

2022-06-22I just want to say how rude Amy is …. Claims to be off at 4pm but it’s 4:11 and she still running around the shop so asked to notarize a document, but she says she couldn’t do that because she’s off …. A simple stamp she couldn’t do because she was off ? INSANE

2022-07-07There’s always some excuse to be closed early way too often here. Whether it’s “system down” or “flood in basement” this happens way too often here and it comes to a point where it’s not believable. They close unexpectedly way too often at this location. Terrible

2022-01-13I come in at 6:40pm. The hours say 7:00pm and I get turned away immediately. They tell me theyre closed. With that kind of customer service, Ill avoid this place from here on until the rest of my life. Great management!!!!! Wish I could do no stars

2022-04-17The people who work in this particular store they seem to have this feeling of doing you a favor when you go in there they act like youre not paying for the service and if theyre too busy they make you awake even when theyre only playing on their cell phones a little professionalism is needed and a little common courtesy is necessary otherwise find another job
