Outdoor tiki hut bar with live entertainment on a hot July night. Lots of people, open late and quick easy service on back bar.
Our band off the reservation played there and we were well taken care of had a great crowd, staff and owners were super its a nice place to be outdoors and see live music.
Weve been going here for years. A great place to hang out with friends on the water. Mark and his employees always go above and beyond. The food has always been good, with a nice variety of items. Drink prices are very reasonable, and the bartenders are always friendly. The entertainment is a huge bonus. Weve never paid a cover charge to hear even some of the best musicians in Central New York. Keep up the great work.
We like this place very much but theres some issues that I think should be addressed. First people smoke wide open all over this place, at the bar and all over the seating areas. The sand is used as a giant ashtray. Really sucks to be down wind of smokers there and especially because its a violation of state and county law. The food and menu are simple and decent but you better liked fried food! The digital call system is a great system to keep them organized. The outer exterior needs to be better lit. Very dark at night its like youre watching a band in the dark, (because you are!). Overall we like this place and will continue to visit periodically. Just wish the smokers would smoke across the river!
Bartenders were pleasant and polite . . . The place has this weird clunky procedure for getting food, where you go in one door to order, get a buzzer, then walk around to the side of the bldg to pick up your order when its ready . . . Would be way better if bartenders could take food orders, guests could keep their place at the bar, and bartenders could make bigger tips with food orders added in to bar tab . . .
On the special occasion that I get to go out, I will always choose The Tiki Bar at The Winds of Cold Springs Harbour. It has quickly become our favorate neighborhood hang out!The setting is amazing! You literally feel like you have been transported into some sort of island paradise! Its a marina, so boats are coming in and going out, there is a sandy beach area with comfy chairs, and a stage which hosts great musical talent! The bar is quite big, and there are several bar tables surrounding it, so even though its generally crowded, you can find a place to sit. The crowd is a nice mix of people, so if you want to go out and not be around a bunch of young kids, this is your spot! I dont know if its the atmosphere, the awesome staff, great food, or a combo of all the above, but everyone is friendly and happy here!The bartenders are awesome, make great drinks (that dont cost a ton of $), and work hard to make sure your not waiting more than 2 minutes for a drink. Food here is delicious and portions are healthy, and again its not going to cost you a ton of coin.The bar is seasonal, so get there when you can to enjoy this awesome piece of paradise in CNY!

I never knew this place existed and I have a friend that lives right down the street.....who knew? The place is nice...for entertainment they had a live band, which you dont really see much of these days, so thats a plus....just drinks that night...but bar is in a great location....the age group was mostly adults not young folks...I most likely will go back....it was a great find!
First time I was here. Actually was there to see a friend play at The Tiki Bar. Was a good time. FYI there is sand every where Incase youve never been here.
Beautiful little tiki bar with sand and a little marina. We went for trivia, and had a great time. The food and drinks are very inexpensive and pretty good for the price! Definitely a great place to hang out during the summer.
Food was great. Staff was exceptional, but the best part wad the sand between my toes!

When I first started going to the Tiki Bar I really liked it. They had a great location and all my friends really liked it. I went there yesterday for the fourth of July with some friends because they had a band playing. It seemed like a great way to spend my evening.First, I went to the bar and asked for a drink and was told “We don’t make mixed drinks on busy days.” I’m actually really surprised. I have never been told by the bartender refused to make my drink because it was too busy. Like that really really surprised me.She offered me instead a cranberry vodka so I had that, but it wasn’t what I wanted and wasn’t all that good. I mean it obviously has cranberry and vodka in it and that’s a mixed drink. The only things that are in my drink are orange juice, cranberry juice, and vodka so I’m confused why I couldn’t have the things I wanted when she literally just made me a mixed drink.This really put a bad taste in my mouth and really agitated me but I didn’t want to make a big issue out of it because I never like being that customer.So I decided to go get some food and when I went to order food they told me they had just closed their kitchen. I looked at the clock and they closed by two minutes and would not make me food. I understand that kitchen has closed and I know how it is. I used to be a server/ waitress so I totally understand being closed but all I wanted was a small thing of fries and a side of cheese. It wasn’t like my order would have taken that long.On the food subject I have been there about 4 times now, and every single time I’ve ordered a dish it has been really gross to eat. Every single time I came back I would order something else because the dish I got last time was really gross. I have the say the worst thing I ordered was these chicken cordon bleu fried balls. They were supposed to be fried and stuffed with cheese and ham and the idea sounded really good. But when I got my dish the balls were burnt, and biting into them there were no pieces of ham. The cheese only had enough in them to lightly coat the inside with cheese. It wasn’t what you would call “Stuffed” by any means. It was just disgusting and when I got home that night my stomach was actually hurting. There were only 8 balls in there but I couldn’t finish them.Overall I was really disappointed by the service here and although the food sucked in the past I wanted to go there to celebrate my 4th of July and am disappointed to say that I regretted it. The food is always disappointing and I was very offended that they were quote on quote too busy to make me my drink. If you didn’t know how to make it give me a different bartender or ask me what’s in it instead of blatantly saying you refused to make my drink because you were too busy.The one thing the Tiki Bar does have is a great location on the water. It’s nice because you can pull your boat right up to it and get some good which is what really appealed to me in the beginning. They often have bands playing which is nice. But other than that I wouldn’t recommend it. I will likely return simply to hang out with my friends but I myself will not be giving them much business anymore.
Cold Springs has been the home for our boat for several seasons. The staff is professional, kind and knowledgeable. A great marina to stay a few days, dock for the season or just stop in. Good food & drinks at the Tiki and beautiful view of the river front.

I just visited Minnesota and the hole state is dog friendly loved it ,outside bars everywhere on lake Minnetonka and dogs under control and rules ,but here they tell me there cant be a dog in here ,you no you are outside right!!! Anyway I travel by boat and cant enjoy this place . Give me a designated dog area and some rules or give me a bone
Our boat was having issues as we were making our way down the Erie Canal. We pulled in and Mark and crew made our boat a priority to repair, found a short in the wiring, and got us on our way again. Would highly recommend.

2021-06-23A great venue right on the water!Granted it was the 1st really nice day weather wise. The band was fantastic! Now like all other restaurants, Im sure they have a labor issue too. But... the bar outside couldve run a lot smoother with some basic organization from a manager. 6 bartenders great! But why are they jumping around all over the bar. 3 sides, 2 bartenders each side, set a spot on each side for the walk up business( a lot of people there for the music) this would make everyones experience more enjoyable!

2019-07-10It was a nice spot on the river for the five minutes I was there. We had our 8 pound dog with us and were asked to leave. Although the waitress that asked us to leave said there were signs that said no dogs, we did not see them. We came via boat on the river. So Im assuming they didnt think to post that side of the establishment as well.Before we were asked to leave I had a chance to order food unfortunately. They were out of fries. 🍟. A staple of all bar food. So our sandwich came with instead chips. The bar food can be best described as bar food.It would be nice if they had a pet friendly area in the future. I mean if you are outside and can smoke in a public area, why cant you bring your dog.
