The Buddha bowl (coconut quinoa topped with spiralized and pickled veggies and a Thai dressing) was so fresh and tasty. There was only one woman taking/delivering orders and making the smoothies/juices on Labor Day 2020 but she still managed to crank them out quickly and with kindness! Definitely a good stop in Beacon if you’re looking for a meal that’s light and fresh.
Small restaurant with limited menu, but the food was great. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Not cheap, but good food shouldnt be! The lentil soup was delicious and obviously homemade. The sandwich with avocado ($2 extra) was worth it because they were ripe and delicious!
Had an awesome sandwich and delicious, fresh juice for lunch here after a long flight that brought me into Stewart Airport. The owner of the restaurant is the chef, and I was really impressed with his dedication to making tasty vegan food and providing great service. I will be back!
Végétalien is one of the tastiest vegan restaurants I’ve ever been to. The focus is on lunch foods—sandwiches, soups, Buddha bowls. My favorite is the BLT—amazing homemade bread, crispy-smoky vegan bacon, & delicious sauce—but I’ve never once been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered. The juices are also refreshing and lovely, especially the ginger lemonade. Moses, the chef, brings the same kind care he gives to the people who eat here to the food itself. It makes a real difference. Sit in the window for great views of Beacon Mountain.
My boyfriend and I went there the other day, they were very unfriendly and unwelcoming and told us that the kitchen was closed although they werent scheduled to close for another hour and the restaurant was empty. I would not recommend coming here, too bad I was really looking forward to trying their food.
This is a cute spot to eat if you happen to be in Beacon and need some quick vegan grub. The jackfruit tacos are delicious and I enjoyed them immensely. The worker behind the counter is extremely sweet, kind and attentive. However, I was disappointed to see that they have such a limited menu. I found the restaurant extremely small, too, which made me feel cramped and uncomfortable.
I happened to be wandering around looking for something quick to eat in beacon and I saw the Chakra artwork on the door. I had a feeling they were conscious about the food quality and source.I had the tacos and added avocado. It was refreshing and surprisingly good. As I was walking out I believe one of the employees asked me how was the food?I hope he reads this, it was great! Thank you.
My experience visiting this restaurant was very poor. The cashier was the same person preparing the food: the same pair of glove was used to collect money and preparing bread. The warm soup was served cold. Poor customer service. Unsanitary utensils. This is not an experience i intend to repeat.

2022-03-18Great little vegan cafe with fresh salads, wraps, bowls & more. We shared a Buddha bowl and a Cubano, which was more than we could finish. We also sampled their new vegan ice cream, which is amazing.

2022-02-20Yummy and clean vegan food and drinks. Moses, the owner invented facon! They know the ingredients very well and were able to accommodate my extra dietary restrictions easily. Highly recommend trying this small business out! Indoor and outdoor seating available.

2021-03-21This place was quite popular on a Sunday afternoon! Offers a vegan menu with juices, bowls, and sandwiches. Limited seating available. They were running with a staff of 2 so the food took 30 minutes to prepare during the lunch rush. Standouts were the vegan tuna and their panini bread. Food was very acidic.

2021-05-24Jackfruit tacos are awesome and they were nice to allow us to choose what we wanted in our smoothies rather than going with the ones they had on the board. Also like their outdoor dining setup. We’ll be back!

2021-03-13The bowls were fantastic! I got the bowl with chickpea curry and facon bits 👌🏽 Definitely a spot for any health fanatic- vegan or not- it was absolutely delicious and extremely filling.

2022-05-31Update: This place unfortunately has gone way downhill. Changing my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars. The bhudda bowl, that I used to like so much now has hardly anything in it. It used to be a substantial dish. For $15 all you get is a a small container of mostly cabbage, and carrots, some beets and fermented veggie and leafy greens. It is not even organic. There is also a very small amount of quinoi. As much as I want to support and like vegan foods, I can no longer recommend this place.

2021-08-07I hate writing critical reviews of vegan restaurants because obviously I want them to do well and spread the vegan word, but this place needs some updating for sure. It’s great that everything here is vegan and wholesome but I have to be honest, I’d only come back for the ice cream by The Vegan Stuff which was incredible. The store is cramped, awkwardly laid out and messy feeling. The specials board is not next to the main menu, the main menu is by the ice cream cashier where you do not order food from. Our cashier barely said anything to us and seemed really bored. The menu feels basic and outdated in terms of vegan creations these days. Got the vegan jackfruit in a wrap and the “tuna” on bread. The tuna was yummy, not anything too special considering I make it at home all the time. The jackfruit was acidic and briney and wet like it was dumped from a can into a marinade. My friend got a Buddha bowl with tofu which she was not wowed by at all.Overall I think this place could use a menu and interior refresh to keep people coming back.

2021-08-17Amazing food and the best staff in town. Their ingredients are obviously super fresh and the recipes are well thought out. Its busy here during the peak season, but be sure to stop by in the colder months for a warm meal

2020-12-27This place is the best vegan restaurant in Beacon right now. The new owner has done a excellent job with the menu and even does meal plans. The food is always fresh and tasty. We love eating here regularly and Im not even vegan!
