Walmart Supercenter in other cities:
I took my vehicle in to get 4 tires on my Vehicle. As I approached the cash register to pay for my tires one of the gentlemen said are you going to tell her or am I going to tell her...... And a big pause ...... Come to find out they broke the Center capes on my vehicle and said that they were *Not responsible for Damages that they did. Also when I ask to speak to somebody higher supposedly there was nobody there to talk to...Now I have to find out how to replace them. Also the store was not the Cleanest or stocked they had nothing on shelves ....
Have been waiting for 20 minutes to have someone open the case that contains the baby formula that I use. This has been a reoccuring problem. Yes, I do see several employees passing me by. But only a select few have the key to this case. They do have a button to press for assistance but it NEVER seems to bring anyone to my location. Anytime I need formula I dread going to Walmart. I always need to search for the key holder - today my search was fruitless.
Far better stocked and cleaner than Albion Walmart. When you need help though, it’s almost impossible to find a staff member or have one reply to the push-button call system set up. I gave up on buying a set of hair clippers because after 20 minutes no one showed up even though the voice thing repeatedly said a staff member had been notified.
What happened to customer service?! How about just cleaning up the store a little bit?! Nobody wants to work and in this store definitely shows Ive never seen more than one cashier working at a time so youre only option is self-checkout and that line is so long most of the time!! I understand people are not wanting to work but I think they really need to get this store together a lot better its not even that old of a store!!
You already know. Its a Walmart. Sometimes you get good service sometimes you dont. Sometimes the line are exceptionally long sometimes theyre not. Sometimes the self checkouts are all working sometimes theyre not.Sometimes they ask to see a receipt as you exit sometimes they dont.Today was a Good Walmart day!
Went to pick my roommate up from work at Walmart tonight. While we were waiting, we threw a football around while away from all other vehicles. Suddenly, Manager Lisa pulled up and proceeded to berate us and demand we leave. Keep in mind, we were near no other vehicles, and weren’t in the driving lanes of the lot. Overall poor experience, and will refrain from shopping there again. I will be using the Walmart in Albion from now on. Hope nobody else has to deal with this issue. Make sure you stay 7 feet from any vehicle in the parking lot if you choose to go to this establishment, or you risk being banned.
Im sick of their policy of stopping people on the way out to look at your receipt like youre a criminal. Maybe they should redesign their store so they have better control of the flow so people who have paid can walk right out separately from other customers. Its really rude.
The store was clean. The staff didnt seem to go out of their way to say hello but during this visit, neither did I. The reason for 4 stars is that many items on the shelves were missing. Normal, everyday items, not items that the public seems to be hoarding during these uncertain circumstances. Things like, light bulbs, or garbage pails. It seems as though they have a genuine issue with employees restocking the shelves. I realize this may be a bit crude to say, what with the mail and deliveries being slower than normal, but it seems that roads have been cleared for awhile now and doesnt seem to much of an excuse other than short staffing in every area. With so many people needing work right now, no company should be short staffed especially when companies are earning profits upwards of 100 billion dollars per year, nearly 25% increases each year. This is America!!! No call for such greed!!! There are food lines in America!!!! At the very least you can do is stock your shelves!!
I have shopped at this store since it opened. There were never any major issues. The last 2 times I went, the shelves were empty and the store was dirty. When I finally found something that I needed, packs of oatmeal, every box was either broken or looked as if it was chewed. There were at least 10 boxes and ALL were damaged. This seems to be the new Walmart.
Such a big store! Even when busy there is room to maintain social distancing, which is an amazing asset when you or your family is immune compromised. Self check out near both entrances and plenty of open lanes helps keep the traffic flowing. Selections are so much better here than at any other Walmart in Monroe County, which makes it well worth the trip!! My favorite Walmart to go to
I am giving one star due to a negative experience. The cashier was talking with a couple of other employees regarding their mothers ages. I commented: Oh you are so young, my mother is 92. The cashier responded: We are talking amongst ourselves, I guess you had to say something. Its not about you. Needless to say, I will not be visiting that store again.
I asked 4 people before anyone helped me. They all said they would get someone or said it wasnt their department.,I always have the hardest time getting your melt wax (tarts) in cranberry and black cherry, your always out. I dont understand why you dont order more of the stuff you run out of. Its obvious when your out all the time, people are buying. Have not been very happy with the store lately.
Customer service doesnt exist here. The staff are rude and unhelpful. Constant moving of products try to hide the removal of product choices. Staff feel they have the right to talk down to customers and then wield threats if you do not agree with them. Management act like gods and you are their pee-ons. Mark has little man syndrome.
Thank you💕. Thank you for ALL that you do. I have been out shopping twice since March 17 and have ventured a distance from my home just to visit your particulate store. I love That your carts are sanitized. I love that when I enter an aisle the employees move to another aisle. Everyone is wearing a mask and I feel safe. I have much respect for all of your efforts and appreciate you all. I know it could not have been easy to make such a quick transition but you did it so smoothly. I wish others would hold you up as the standard. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
This Walmart is bigger and cleaner than my local store. That being said, I think that the entrances and exits that were closed could have been better marked. Im sure if you are a regular here, its no issue. The associate that monitored our self checkout was very nice. I was able to get some cheap/ clearance items for a good deal.
Roseanne who usually works the service desk filled in for the register because there were only the scan registers opened. There were other people looking to cash out when she got to the register . I was first. I told her I dont like going to the registers that scan. She told me I have to get used to it because everyone will be using them . She seemed very frustrated being there and mean ! There were about 3 more customers lining up behind me. She raised her voice at the people behind me that she is not open for everyone, she only works the service desk . I have never experience such a rude employee at Walmart !
It is not just this store. In an effort to force customers to self check out, which I will not do. There were 2 registers open and very long lines. If they keep this up, I will do all my shopping at Amazon. Also in the grocery section many of the shells were half full and the frozen food selection food selection refrigerators were is this were 1/3 empty.
Most of the freezers were empty and the contents were missing from the store. This store keeps getting worse. There were no individual lemons for sale. I needed two. The smallest quantity offered is a bag of at least a dozen. This store seems like it was in a decline before covid. It fell apart during covid-19 and it has never recovered.
Not only is it Walmart, but its a bad one at that. The last 3 times Ive gone for things Ive gotten there in the past, Ive left empty handed. If you want to be surrounded by awful people, and crave the feeling of wanting to get the hell out of someplace, make it your go-to destination.
The employees at the door oftentimes have their masks around their necks or below their noses. They’re also rude a lot of the time. Don’t try calling this Walmart, the only departments that answer are pharmacy and sometimes electronics. You can’t get through to customer service. I live 3 minutes away from this location but prefer to drive 20 minutes to the next one instead because this one is so awful.
Every single staff member greeted us pleasantly in our visit, different from our local Wal-Mart. When searching for a hard to find specialty item, 3 staff members joined in the search until we found it. All of the shelves were fully stocked, also a refreshing difference from our local store. We decided that day that we would now make this store, our go-to Wal-Mart.
I get shopping during this pandemic is stressful. What stresses me out is all the walmart employees with huge blue bins flying around the store frantically fulfilling online orders. I can never get to the items I need and when I do they are sold out. The employees are rude and appear to hate there jobs. They make you feel like you are in there way with there big blue bins. On top of that all the vendors are in there in the morning stocking shelves so it makes it even harder to get to what you need. Floor walker security is always making you feel uncomfortable as well. They might as well wear security uniforms they make it so obvious peeking at you around the corner. The store is constantly running out of paper bags. Self checkout is usually all thats open as well. Listen, i can go on and on about this place. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more and shop at wegmans. Its such a smoother experience.
Very clean I love the security added in the store much-needed everybody was very professional and helpful a lot of products are great big selection and funny enough for whatever reason and all the shelter being restocked constantly aside from the fact that the toilet paper has gone mysteriously missing😅🤣
Adding five stars for the friendliest cashier at Walmart! Denise is always cheerful and always smiling. I look for her before cashing out because I know that I will always receive excellent customer service when in her line. Denise’s line is quite often longer than the others and worth every extra moment of the wait. Walmart is very lucky to have someone like Denise!
Not happy, when I was checking out the cashier put all my groceries in one bag, this included 2 containers of coffee creamer, 1/2 oat milk, bottle of blue cheese, bottle of lotion and other items. My daughter picked up the bag so I didnt realize this happened. Well when we got to the car my daughter went to put the bag in my car. It broke and all my items went flying across the parking lot. Some of my items broke. I use a cane to walk and this was a huge inconvenience to me to chase items rolling away in a busy parking lot. I have no idea why this cashier would think it was acceptable to put all these heavy items in one paper bag but it was a disaster.
As a walmart its standard, but the safety practices are supremely lacking. A good chunk of the customers openly had their mask down under their nose as well as many employees, masks are not very well enforced. One man had his mask tucked under his chin and was ordering from the bakery.Anyone worried about personal safety or the safety of a family member with a compromised immune system should not go here.
My family and I just moved here, and Walmart and Santa, made her experience so incredibly awesome and more than expected!! My 17 yr old daughter has Autism and is Intellectually disabled. They had her (and her 2 1/2 yr old brother), have their own time with Santa. She tends to get extremely overwhelmed in crowds and stores, but this was the most magical experience ever for her!!! I can not thank Wal-Mart and Santa enough!!!
Electric carts were not available at home entrance and asked the associate at the door for help she responded that there was no one to help! After asking for a manager he arranged an associate to bring me one but lost power 5 minutes later! Store had many pallets of boxed merchandise blocking aisles all over the store! NOT GOOD!!
Dangerous and disappointing. When we first moved to the area 8 years ago we thought it was a very nice store, however, in the last 1-2 years it has significantly gone down hill. The associates are less than friendly, and there are buckets all over the store for a leaky roof. Even months before the pandemic the shelves were bare. I was at the store 2 or so weeks ago when I noticed at the deli there was a leak from the ceiling and it was dripping directly onto the glass sliding door that is directly over deli meat. I spoke to a front end manager about it because the deli associate was not interested. I have no idea if it was ever dealt with. How scary. I will not buy deli meat there anymore. And even more recently I observed a store associate reprimand a customer for going the wrong way down an aisle and another associate yell over no one cares anyways!. How unprofessional. Yet the store especially the grocery section is in complete upheaval due to remodeling and customers are forced to wander around looking for the items on their grocery list walking in circles, bumping into each other because no one can find anything. And let us not forget the buckets that are still on the floor catching the leaks from the roof. So between the scavanger hunt called grocery shopping, the bucket brigade, the rude associates and the dangerous deli section yup it is difficult to mind the little stickers on the floor with our masked faces.Id say we customers are doing our best. To bad Greeces Walmart isnt a super center. I guess I am going to have to quarantine myself from Brockport Walmart for a while. Instead of remodeling, try fixing the roof and maybe some etiquette training for your associates. Or pay them more so maybe they will care more. Dangerous and disappointing.
Dont know what their problem is, shelves are either empty or a mess. They must not have a night crew working to fill the shelves at night to get ready for the next day. Either that or they just cant get the products. I hope things turn for the better for them soon. 😔
Curbside pickup is so convenient but it was especially pleasant due to the young men who waited on us. Tyler and Austin were thoughtful and considerate, making sure our order was safely loaded and that we were aware of the changes made to our grocery list. When we tried to tip them they explained that they cant take tips but we can take the money intended for them and donate it to the Golisano Childrens Hospital. These two kind individuals are worth hanging on to. Their kindness made our whole day
I went to the pickup area, called and was told I had to go inside for pickup and that someone would meet me at the orange pickup tower....I went and parked out front, went inside, waited 10 mins for someone, got annoyed and walked around a little in the bakery, came back and someone happened to arrive then too (finally). she went and got what I needed bc I didnt have the barcode the pickup tower said I needed to pick my order up 🥴 so I couldnt pick up my order (just a trash can) in either of places that should have been easy. took me at least 30 mins to pickup a frikin trash can smh.
I have been to many different walmarts, most were sub par except this one! Most of the others were very low class and the employees didnt understand me or care, when I asked for help. Not only did they helped me, and understand me, they were very polite. The store was very well kepted also.
Was in the store today and was surprised by a shopper not wearing a mask! When I said to her, “You need to have a mask on,” she told me it wasn’t my business! When I spoke with an associate about this, he said the manager said to leave it up to law enforcement!! I asked if I was to call law enforcement on my phone and he said he wasn’t sure. So, Drew Coleman, is your store endangering customers and employees by allowing people to spend time in your store without necessary precautions or do you have a law enforcement officer in the store that can be paged right away to correct this issue?
Just a quick “Thank you” to all of the staff members that are working so hard and risking their own health during this uncertain time to make sure that we have a place to shop for necessary items. You are heroes too! And shout out to my favorite cashier Denise for always bringing a smile to everyone’s faces with her infectious laugh and sense of humor. You brighten my day! ❤️❤️❤️
This location has really gone downhill. Everything is always poorly stocked. They constantly have one entrance always closed but dont have any signs stating such (like on the way into the parking lot) except on the door. They pay someone whos only job it is is to sit at said door, meanwhile they have maybe 2 or 3 cashiers working. The service desk will tell you that they cant do returns that require them to ship the item back because they are out of labels, yet they never have them. Its just always something at this place. Id rather spend a few dollars more, shop at Wegmans exclusively, and avoid the hassle & headaches. Their brands are better anyway...
The store itself is great. The staff however is terrible. Observed a cashier named Tea down grading a older woman in front of me on mother’s day nine the less over her food stamp card. Instead of nicely explaining she couldn’t withdraw from it she gave her nothing but attitude. The customer asked for the manager, at this time the CSM came over and did nothing more than give her an even bigger attitude and walked away leaving the customer standing there in dis belief as well as myself. I ended up calling the 1-800 number to complain when I got out to the parking lot. From what I’ve been told, nothing ever happened to either one of these associates. It’s a shame the biggest retailer in the world has the worst customer service. Next time I’m in this position and see this behavior I won’t hold my breath!
Excellent store. During the warm months it can be a bit rough on Friday night because the farm workers get paid. Ghetto buses arrive in packs and they swarm the store. This happens here and Albion. Other than that, this store usually always has what I need. Its electronics section is one of the best.
This Walmart is huge. It has the regular Walmart part but it also has groceries and an auto center. It is also open 24 hours. I shop her very often and have never had to wait in line even over the holidays. They keep enough lanes open to handle the traffic and quickly open new ones if they need to. You can find practically anything you need or want here.
I love the selection of products. Very large store. Theres always the things I camenfor but always find little extras. I used to know where everything was in the story so it was great for quick run ins. They have recently revamped everything in the store in a way that doesnt make sense and waste a lot of time looking for items... No more quick run ins. Staff are not around to help and many dont know where stuff is either. You are just told to go to the app. If I wanted to use the app, I wouldnt be in the store.
Only 3 or 4 cash out lanes are open at a time and the lines are extremely long because of it, plus the self check out lines are always long as well.. Theres more then enough registers that can be opened up and used, so customers dont have to wait in line for as long as they do.. This store has gone downhill way before covid-19
Some weeks ago while self checking one female employee got close to me to advice me that from next day on I wouldn’t be allowed to go into the store with my son (corona related). He’s a disabled adult which goes wherever I go. She definitely was never right. Then yesterday I revisited the store very early and only could see one staff wearing a homemade mask. Hope they listened to the Governor yesterday. We know any mask use in public is to protect others. It is very disrespectful and inconsiderate not to be protected. We all owe to each other to protect everyone. Next time, I will be reporting, more than reviewing.
Customer service center now closes early at 8:00 p.m. but opens early at 7:00 a.m. Monday to Sunday. My only complaint about this Walmart which is my home Walmart is they do not stock Krispy Kreme donuts. Oh, well. But I do love my fat pills. Like all Walmart bakeries that I know of their products are unacceptable. Wegmans is the best but their prices are very high.
If you go through self checkout be prepared to show your receipt even if the employees are standing there watching you scan your items they will still ask to see your receipt if your a African American. Ive had this done to me numerous times and complained to Mgr , nothing has changed even another customer questioned the employee why is it that they only wanted to see my receipt when it was 4 other customers but the response was it was just random. Great merchandise poor service..
I placed an online delivery order to come between 12:00-1:00. Well it never came so I contacted the store at 1:20. Well they said they will call the driver , which should have already been done , to see where they were. Also that if they couldn’t get there the store would find another driver. To which I said don’t bother because I will come instead of wasting my day waiting for someone. They call me back and tell me that the driver got “ in a big accident “. I really don’t believe that’s what happened. I went and picked it up myself. The store should have called the driver at about 12:30 to see where he was since my delivery was suppose to be at my house by 1:00. Instead they waited until I called 20 minutes after my delivery was suppose to come. I ,in April , joined for one year unlimited delivery because of Covid. Used it quite a bit in the beginning but started going into the store when numbers went down. Well now the store only has ne door to use and we decided to use it again. Well it’s really a poorly run program at this particular store.
The store has changed so much. The yarn isle looks amazing. The store is super clean now and the customer service was excellent. Shout out to the manager who was in the floor speaking to customers and employees. It hasnt always been a good experience but today they did excellent!
There is an old cashier by the name of Denise that is there at least until 8pm, very rude and super loud! It’s very disappointing to have THIS unpleasant face and attitude as the last you’ll encounter before exiting the store. If you want a pleasant shopping experience, steer clear of overly loud and rude Denise! As she continued to yell to a CSM nearby, she proceeded to take her mask off so she can be heard more clearly, only to cough in mid conversation, eeewww! I’m sorry I came through her line, it was a nasty, uncomfortable, disappointing experience!
The store is an absolute chaotic mess. Today there was no water stocked, but there is plenty in the back. When I say none, I mean like none. Every isle constantly has items from other parts of the stores just stashed around. It’s messy. No one puts things back. They don’t go around and collect reshops. The displays are filled with reshops, and barely ever any actual sale items. There was a whole section of small plastic storage bins that had price tags for something else that was over 100 dollars. Nothing is organized in this store, it is just constantly a mess. management clearly has no interest in their store tidiness and their customers. Absolute trash of a location.
Every time I go to this Walmart the people working are super friendly. Everyone says hello and asks if you need help. I usually go later at night to avoid the crowds. Brockport is a fantastic town making probably the best Walmart in upstate NY. I’ve been to 3 others in the area and will never go back to those ones. Bruce is my favorite employee he’s so sweet to everyone!
Horrible customer service. Bought fresh whole peeled garlic and all 3 bags were sour. Wouldnt honor the return told me I had to hold on to them until returns were being accepted. They STINK THRU THE CLOSED BAG yeah like I want to smell that for the next couple of months. Buyer beware.
Wal-Mart is usually busy, but not always bad. Most people in the store dont have good store manners, but thats the people not employees or store. The store is always clean, you can usually find store employees around, but sometimes have to look. If youre looking for something the best people to ask are the stockers, they know where everything is. The scan yourself is nice, normally not any problems. I try not to go to registers, because I like to bag my things in a certain way (soft things with soft, frozen and cold together, cans together, produce, etc), I guess that would be my only complaint the cashiers arent the best at bagging. Some are superb! Ive asked for frozen and cold to be bagged separately before and got it all in 1 bag &things got crushed or the bag ripped. I have also gone to my vehicle and rebagged everything. Their cloth bags they have look small, but are actually quite large and inexpensive. I have 2 and can fit all of my non frozen or non cold items in both bags!
I didnt even wanna give them one star.. Took my truck in for a simple oil change and they over filled my engine with oil. My truck was spewing smoke out of my tail pipe. I had to drain my oil because I feared engine damage . Call the Brockport Walmart and they denied doing anything wrong. My wife seen the smoke. My only regret I didnt video everything. So now they wanna compensate me with another oil change. Yeah right. Ill never bring my truck there again.
Walmart has come along way, lol I feel that I cant go into a superstore unless im in the right state of mind, stick to my list and get to check out as quickly as possible. If I dont Im going to end up spending around 75 dollars on things I think I need but I really dont, Im not saying thats a bad thing however my refrigerator has a 20 mustache magnet on it now so thanks I guess (shrugs). Great prices weird people.
They have gone almost completely to self check out and it has made things so cumbersome. Tonight I and several others had problems with self checkout. And there was only two people to resolve the issues and it was really slow. I had to wait almost a whole hour extra to get help. It was such a pain, especially late a night.
I feel an explanation is unnecessary but in case you didnt know... its filthy and unkept. The employees are rude clearly dont want to be there. The produce is usually one day from death and there shelved items are past the expiration date. But at least its brightly lit so you can find your way out of there.
Its better than most WalMarts but still a WalMart nonetheless. Decent selection of middling quality and priced goods, disaffected (rightly) employees, and barely acceptable organization and layout. That is the theme of this store, barely acceptable. They usually have about 2-5 registers open at a time and due to the relative glitchiness of their self checkouts (compared to other stores) wait times are long. However, the cashiers, greeters, and electronics workers are good at their jobs and friendly, most of the time. They deserve all the credit in the world for working there. The customer service desk is a terrible mess. I recently went there due to an issue with a TV warranty and the representative was unhelpful, unknowledgeable, outwardly disinterested, and overtly rude. I understand customer service can be difficult but stores should only assign people with decent temperaments to those jobs. Their food selection is okay but Wegmans is better for most of your grocery needs. The electronics section is okay, it will have most of your basic needs though beware of their warranty program. You buy their so-called extended warranty just to be told online to contact the manufacturer (which that warranty may be out of date) just to be told by the joy of a representative that they cant do warranties there and to do it online. The cruel irony is that you tried online and the website wont process it. I would recommend Best Buy or another place for major electronics purchases. Overall, this store is a barely acceptable testament to the perpetual mediocrity that is WalMart.
Normally I wouldt review a Walmart, but this one is darn good and deserves a good rating. It is everything you expect and want from a giant big box store. It gets high marks for being clean and having friendly staff. Heck, even the folks shopping there are a cut above average. For being more than what you expect - 5 stars to Brockport. Nice work!
This is the most RACIST Walmart I have ever been to. The lady at self checkout literally watched me and my fiance check out from the moment we started and up until the moment we finished and then proceeded to ask for our receipt. She then checked the bags at the bottom by sticking her hands in and searching through every single item and after about one minute of her searching my fiance stopped her and had to call her out and make her look stupid. I have never experienced such discrimination at a Walmart. When he went to the service desk to complain they said she can do what she wants and she has the right to search any bag. Im sure they were all just as racist as her.
Our first trip to the Brockport store. Very happy with the entire experience, especially the grocery side which is far superior to the other grocery stores in the area. The selection of products is the best around here, & the prices much much better as well. Its an 11 mile trip from home, but this is now our go to for groceries. Paid about half of what I would have paid at any of the other grocery stores around, and actually not only found what I was looking for, but a BUNCH of things I havent seen anywhere else for a long time if ever. And the remainder of the store was great as well. While it was busy, I got in the check out line just as someone was finishing up - so NO wait to check out. Very happy all the way around!
Its your typical Wal-Mart Supercenter. Must be well managed, because its kept pretty clean, compared to others Ive been to. Just like every other Wal-Mart, it seems like they never have enough registers open, but at least they have self checkout. Its in a convenient location, and lots of parking, which is usually plowed well enough in the winter months.
So we were in line for about 20 min waiting to get the cashier to maybe make eye contact. Too bad they are Masters at it. A lady walked up and said they needed to give her keys back and she was out of time. 2.5 hours for cleaning a headlight lens that was supposed to take 40 min. When we were finally called not only did they quote us on the wrong tire size which drastically changed the price but now they didnt have them in stock. They would take a week to get in. Great big bummer Walmart. The last time I was here I had tires done. The lad doing them couldnt re-associate the wireless valve stems to my system. They still show low pressure. His suggestion is to take it to a dealer. Listen. No body likes to have to go to a dealer after work was performed when they didnt need to 2 hours ago. I know you are the biggest company on the planet and could care less. Business model of quantity vs quality but try it the quality part some time. They dont have to be mutually exclusive of each other.
We go to Walmart every week and every week they are out of something that we need. Mainly flavored creamer for my wife. It happens every week and it’s really starting to get old. Some of the staff are just completely rude when asked questions. Brockport WalMart is so big that I don’t think they really care about one persons bad experiences.
Not enough cashiers, the workers on the floor you ask them where something was and they would say,I dont know thats not my department. They are always out of kitty litter, and cat food that I buy.A few times now Ive been charged double for items.one was a 37.00 ham.And another time I got home and they never put a case of Snapple in my cart.Ive decided not to go there anymore.Only when I have to.😵🤦🤷🙎🤦
Good for everything but the food. Summary of my food experiences: Chicken is piss poor quality, often tastes frostbitten (chicken is cheaper at Wegmans, and tastes better too). Eggs are often stuck to the packaging and one of their yolks was hard. The fruit is repugnant, molds fast, and lacks flavor (probably imported). I bought a mint plant once, it refused to live and committed suicide despite ample water and light. The only reason I shop there is because Wegmans lacks a large housewares and electronics section. I feel bad for every penny I give this horrible business. If only they paid their employees a living wage maybe this place wouldnt suck so hard. Sam Walton (founder of Walmart) is likely burning in Hell as I write this. Lucifer himself should press him with a flaming hot cattle prod for every small business that closes its doors due to Walmart. Sammy boy better run because when I join him in the Fourth Circle of Hell Ill give him something to remember me by. Check out the fishing section thats cool tho.
Its a Walmart store near a city, so dont expect much glamour. The store itself is ok, mostly clean. There is at least one product out of place in almost every display because people shopping there are too lazy to put items they dont want back where they found them. Also, expect to see cars parked in the fire lane. It can get pretty crowded driving through with cars parked there and two lanes of traffic. Also some employees park in the closer spots so its sometimes difficult to find parking near the store. Not usually a problem for me because I dont mind walking, but comes in handy for the times when Im in a hurry out have a sprained ankle. Store is in a corner plaza with traffic lights at the two main entrances, so its easy to get in from any direction.
The most Uncomfortable Shopping Experience that Ive ever had!!!I used the self check out because they are faster than using a regular one, but I should have just used a regular cashier because the whole time I was cashing out an employee in a yellow smock stood behind Me and watched my whole $75. Transaction! It made me do uncomfortable, like me shopping here was a Crime! It made me so uncomfortable that I was on the verge of just walking out!Well lesson learned, Walmart does not appreciate My Family spending our money here. So from now on Tops, Wegmans, or Aldis will get My hard earned Money...At least then I can be treated like a valued customer and not an Inmate!
Not my best shopping trip to Wal-Mart but they are all hit and miss there. Dawn an associate at the self check out was extremely helpful and understanding when I needed help with what I thought would process like a coupon but was a walmart credit from their receipt checking system and you cannot use those at the self checkout stations you need to go through a regular line. That was the good part, the bad and actually extremely sad part, youd think Brockport the customers would be normal, nice human beings but not so, they were extremely rude. I have permanent injuries from being hit in prior car accidents and I walk with a cane and no one cared. I had people walk in front of me, no apologies, cut me off, I was run into, no apology, I had other peoples children, under 10yrs old push my cart into me bc it was in their way and the parents did nothing?? Very sad that the millennials and the next generation and probably all thereafter will never know the value of or have any manners and neither do their parents who some are the same age as myself and I was taught how to act in public, say excuse me, please and thank you or I probably wouldnt have made it to my age!
Went in to look for a specific DVD, so stopped at the electronics counter. There was one person, helping another customer;when she came back to the counter, obviously still trying to help the other customer, who was now behind me. The employee did not look at me or give any indication that she would be with me when she was finished with what she was doing. Being in a hurry, I was disgruntled, but blew it off thinking shes busy too, so I walked away to try to find the dvd myself. As I was heading toward the overflowing $5 bins, she walked back by me and said shed be with me in a minute. I said ok and proceeded to look in the bins. About 10 mins later she came my way with another customer, looked at me and continued on her way. Irritated? Yes! But, she is only one person and it is one week away from Christmas. Vent over.
This store is doing the best they can considering the circumstances. If SUNY Brockport dismissed all classes for the rest of the semester, and most of the out of town students returned back to their home cities and states to do online studies, the shelves would be more plentiful. Yes, I know there are people who hoard who are long-term residents of Brockport and surrounding towns, but someone in Walmart relayed how students came in and wiped out a shelf, so we know hoarding from students is part of the problem as well.
They dont enforce mask policy. Workers walk around with no mask when nobody is looking. Managers say they cant make people wear a mask on the premises but last time I checked walmart is private property, and they reserve the right to refuse services. They staff people to mask check at the front doors but they dont actually do anything.
I feel there is not enough coustermer people that work there do not enjoy there job, I also the elderly employee are taken advantage of for position s of a story king role with in the store ,I helped an employee because she had a problem lifting a box just to move out of another coustermer way . Training is also an issue , the employee is not knowledgeable in the department that is worked or never around to help with questions or assistance to get a product . I also dont want to check myself out in self check out when I get out of work at 12am in the morning I want to be waited on not doing a cashiers job this why I think Walmart is not what it used to be to me its becoming a greedy cooperation and needs to go back to the old ways.
I guess Walmart is Walmart but they always have what I need when I go in. The Brockport center is not bad and fairly clean for a store that has so many customers on a daily basis. I dont use the pharmacy because in the past (years ago) their service was so slow. Unsure how it is today.
This walmart is consistently better than other locations in Rochester area. When I can find staff they are helpful. Like many walmart locations there are usually not enough registers open, so you will wait a while to pay. If you go on the weekend, the shelves are frequently out of high demand items. The pharmacy is frequently out of high demand medication also, so if you have a prescription needing to be filled immediately, be prepared to go somewhere else.
I hadnt been in this store since February, 2020. Its been rearranged by individuals who have most likely studied marketing techniques and most likely do not do their own shopping. The store was messy and lacking alot of the basic items that I went there for. Very disappointed.

2022-03-02If I could have written a review with no stars that’s what I would have done. I was there a few weeks ago and was charged for 2 chocolate creamers and I only bought 1. So I was charged an extra $3.82. I went yesterday and purchased $312.48 in groceries. I had 4 coupons. 3 of the 4 went through for mayonnaise. After I paid and was walking away, the cashier informed me that I could have 1 coupon back. I asked why? She said it wouldn’t go through and didn’t tell her til my purchase was done. It was for $5.00 off of the purchase of (2) Garnier hair products that had been in the coupon mailing that we received. I don’t use this kind but I looked carefully at the coupon and bought specifically what the products were. When I got home and unpacked my groceries, 1 of my bags was wet inside under the eggs. I then realized that when she was putting things in the bag at waste level and then plopping them on the packing counter for me to put in my cart that she had broken 16 out of 18 eggs in the bottom of the double pack. I paid 5.67 for the double pack. That’s another $2.34. That is $11.16 that I have lost in 3 weeks at this store!

2022-06-08This is one of the nicest Walmarts I’ve ever been to. Always feels safe, clean, and great selection. Occasionally you’ll spot stereotypical “Walmart” patrons, but far less frequently than other locations. Parking is easy, staff is generally helpful, and the store is huge!

2022-06-06Ive gone to this Walmart a long time. I was in search of dog food. So I went to the Albion location to find they did not have the dog food I usually get. So I decided to call the Brockport Walmart instead. To my surprise I was on hold forever. I was able to drive to Brockport and was still on hold by the time I got there. Secondly I had Installed an AC unit my grandfather had purchased. Which was not easy whatsoever. To later find out the remote that was supposed to come with it wasnt in the box. When I called the store they had told me Id have to bring the whole unit back and get a new one. Extremely dissatisfied with Walmarts performance and will resort to other stores for my products now. 10 out of 10 would not recommend going here.

2022-06-24Great place to shop. Great variety, better stocked than other grocery stores in Monroe County especially during COVID. Most employees seem nice. The bread isle alway has carts of bread down the whole isle blocking what is on the shelves, making it a single isle, so I can get congested. The persoshoppers block isles and leave their carts in bad placesI don’t like shopping and the single lane isles because of these two facts are the only downfall of showing here!

2022-03-21Good store overall but their meat selection is awful… I bought stir fry that was supposed to be good for a week and the next day out of the fridge its half discolored and smells, not the first time… I guess it makes sense when you buy meat from a super center… major thumbs down🤦🏼♂️

2022-06-20My husband bought 4 tires to put on his truck, because one of his old tires on his truck blew out he couldnt bring his truck in he had to charge that tire first. He asked if he came back would they put on the other tires on for him they said yes just bring the receipt and the tires will be placed on the truck for free. when he went back they told him he had to pay for them to put the tires on, ok he agreed the man who was putting the tires on broke the nut stud on the wheel and said it was broken before my husband said no take a look its fresh breK then he said it cross ,so he changed his story my husband looking onHe said my husband had to pay for it or he cannot put the tires on and treaten him to pay for the battery he just bought saying he will leave without paying for it. What did he say or do make them think he would not pay for the battery About 3 of them came agueing with him. So unprofessional and disgraceful. In the pandemic I went to pick up some cleaning items there were no signs there at the time saying you could only pick up one . One of the workers saw me picking up the supplies instead of telling me only 0ne per customer she call up front and said she told me one per customer lied so sad .Honesty is still the best policy. God is always looking

2022-06-08Our favorite Walmart in the Rochester area. It is popular and busy. They are not very well stocked. Not sure if that is because they are busy or due to supply chain issues.

2022-05-19Fresh bread sliced and still hot! They will slice it for you and there are times all I need is a bit of imported butter and their fresh bread.

2022-05-28Decent place, selection and clean though the clientele is...well...its Wal-Mart? Of all the Wal-Marts Ive been too, this place is just odd, like do you know what you look like when you leave the house? Have people just given up in Brockport? I had to stop myself several times but thank God this place had what I needed! Id deffnetly go back but will need a good drink! :)

2022-02-15The best walmart ever. Love the bakery manager at this Walmart! Myranda keeps the floor stocked and clean and is so quick to answer everytime I have a question. This is the cleanest store Ive ever been to and I never fail to find items Im looking for. They also make sure stock is frequently updated and you can see their items out of stock on the app!
