We were lucky enough to have Derek and Capital Region Entertainment out to our wedding and they were a HUGE hit. Professional photos take some time to edit and turn around, and these photo booth photos were so easy to access digitally right away, high quality, and a great socializing activity for our guests.

Derek and his team from Capital Region Entertainment perfectly complemented each phase of my daughters wedding. Derek provided personal one-on-one attention helping us create incredibly special wedding ceremony music and he and his jazz singers lit up the room for a memorable cocktail hour before dinner. And of course, the whole team helped everyone let loose on the dance floor. Added touches that our guests really enjoyed were the photo booth and the sparkler send off at the end of the evening. Overall, Derek is skilled and confident - guiding us in advance and throughout the wedding day - I cant imagine entrusting such an important event to anyone else!

Derek and his associate were simply terrific. They arrived early. Theyhad previously coordinated with the venue manager and with a Classmate who was performing. They listened carefully to my description of the event and its attendees and then designed a playlist well-suited to both. I have heard nothing but rave reviews about the evening from attendees, and Derek was an essential element in that success. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a DJ.

Derek came out for an event that I helped host at Boston College. He was easy to communicate with before the event and was able to use a special logo on all of our photos. He was very efficient with setting up on the day of the event and helped to engage attendees with fun props and assistance if/when needed in terms of email/texting/printing photos! I highly recommend Derek and Capital Region Entertainment!

I booked capital region entertainment for a wedding party. I can say that I was thoroughly pleased with Derek and Mike. They were early to set up and started playing music about 45 min earlier than they were booked for. They even brought some extra lighting to illuminate my tent. Thanky ou guys for a wonderful evening.

Derek, Eric, and Tim made our wedding so wonderful. They played songs we wanted, were perfect emcees, and knew how to keep the party going from start to finish. And they provided all of the equipment and a Photo Booth! I would hire them for any and every event.
