I love this library. I have a three year old daughter who I have been doing activities with there since she has been months. The adult selection is great, as well as the online book access. Great programs and staff. Immaculately kept. If you are a West Islip resident, a library membership is a must.

Have always loved this Library..when my son was 5 we moved here and I loved bringing him here. In the fall they have the Autumn Fair on the Library grounds and it draws so many! This is one of my favorites because of the memories it holds of childhood.

Love this library.Where to begin?The staff. From the staff at the front desk, to members at the childrens section. Everyone is very helpful and respectful.When looking for suggestions for books involving videogame/scifi a gentleman in the adult section suggested these two books. Ive completed Ready Player One, and i LOVE it.The library is in immaculate condition, everything is in great condition. They often sell books near the front door for great prices.The childrens section, which my daughter loves, is such a blast. They have toys, puppets, magnets and much more.

Best local library. Great for our daughter to borrow books and return instead of constantly buying them. They also have free/discount passes for many local attractions, museums, zoos etc...

Very courteous and informative staff. A little courtesy goes a long way. Loved my experience talking to the librarian there.
