The Westbrook Apartments allow their maintenance workers to enter your apartment when you are not home without notification. It is understood when it comes to scheduled fire alarm checks and filter changes as those are set up in advance and you are notified. Due to a small leak in a lower unit, maintenance came into my apartment to turn off my A/C unit without attempting to notify me. I feel violated. Maybe more texts to tenants about going into their living spaces rather than getting their picture taken for a pool pass would be a better use of energy.

Management is not transparent and will give you the run-around on anything you bring up to them. They also do not follow NY state housing laws regarding move outs, security deposits, or leases.The buildings themselves are cheaply made and are falling apart after only a few years of being built. Definitely not worth the money. They also charge exorbitant fees in the leasing process like a pet DNA test and a painting fee before you even move in.If its your only housing option I would recommend keeping strong documentation of everything you do with management. They are not your friends.

I LOVE our apartment. It is safe and beautiful. We receive tons of compliments from all of our friends and family members. Granted we had a couple of issues with appliances not working and what not but maintenance is on top of things. They always addressed every issue immediately. The ladies in the office are very nice and attentive, Ellen especially. I have noticed another review talking about constant surveillance but that is a GREAT thing. If you abide the policies then you have nothing to worry about - as they are put in place for a reason. We shopped around to a few other complexes before moving here in September and I am glad we chose Westbrook. Overall it has been a wonderful 6 months living here.

I wouldnt give this place one star my apartment was broken into now instead of the people being kind just and concerned no the people running Westbury didnt care honestly I am appalled and I advise anybody moving in or moving there to reconsider yes it is a nice place with great people unfortunately all of them are in danger and the management quote on quote doesnt care to get involved with situations like that but they would care to go into your apartment without your say so..... Sincerely with my deepest and warmest regrets I advise anybody living there visiting or otherwise keep your eyes open and do not trust Westbury

We have lived in Westbrook village apartments for about 4 months now, so my review is a reflection of our actual experience here. When we were looking for places we had a difficult time finding something that allows 2 small pets.I must say that I love, love, love it here!Some of the things I really love about it are that the unit came with its own washer and dryer making laundry a breeze. There is an open floor plan and the kitchen has stone or granite counters, stainless steel appliances, double bowl stainless under mount sink and a high pot filler pull out kitchen faucet with a spray feature. There is a good size kitchen pantry and in our unit all the cabinets are white with brushed chrome handles. The flooring is a thick vinyl that looks like wood plank flooring and the wall of windows in our unit came with white wood blinds. The only 2 rooms that have carpet are the bedrooms. The bathroom tile appears to be white marble. There is a good size front hall closet and both bathrooms and bedrooms are a pretty good size.I am also impressed that there are large areas at the corner of each block of units specifically for pet relief with waste bags and special trash containers similar to what you find at pet stores.The clubhouse is absolutely beautiful, well lit and secure as you need a swipe card to enter. There are 2 large screen TVs, a large stone fireplace, tables and chairs, brand new sofas and furniture and there is a coffee maker with free coffee, tea and hot chocolate. There is also a large pool table in a separate area with its own TV, a full exercise room and large double doors that open to a gorgeous in-ground swimming pool which is lit up with tiny LED lights at night. They offer lounge chairs, tables and chairs, sun umbrellas and if you want to cook out there are grills on site.It is stunning!Each morning when I walk my dogs I am amazed at how beautiful the grounds are. There are shade trees, sidewalk walkways around the entire property, white vinyl fencing, perfectly kept lawns, small rose gardens and a variety of colorful flowers like begonias and day lilies.We are directly across the street from a little league baseball diamond complex which has geese, ducks and baby ducks running around in the early morning. So pretty!On the downside..you cant pay your rent here!! It has to be mailed or submitted online. Their billing does not show your rent due until the 1st of the month which is the day you have to pay it.The noise level is something we are not used to as the unit above us is occupied and we can hear every single step they take as well as every time they flush their toilet it sounds like Niagara Falls. Even though their dog is smaller than 5lb. we can hear every single bark. There is also no yard area as your outer patio is one small square of concrete that is about 5x5 square with no privacy. The only other thing that is not optimal is that there is NO storage, basement area, garage or covered parking.As of August 2017 they added a dog park (see photos) a bocce ball court and a smaller fenced toddler playground.It is a beautiful place to live and they also send you emails to events sponsored by the complex so you can easily get to know other families that rent here.

What a beautiful community the people making the community thought of everything great senior housing for elderly to purchase a condo. look at it the prices are great

My Uncle lives here. He seems to like it. He says its a little small, but he doesnt mind.
