Pokemon hunting/stop is great. The summer Farmers Market is fantastic, amd even though its almost in city center, its usually quiet. If I meditated or did yoga, this would be a nice park to do it in. Its also very conviently located to several restaraunts amd the library and bus terminal.
Wisner Market Farmers Market is so much more than a farmers market. Delicious food, live music and nice vendors, check it out 10 til 2 on Thursdays.
Love the baked goods, popcorn, and fresh produce. And I was fortunate enough to get a rib dinner, as it is there last week here
They have Farmers Market though Big name Restaurants still ply for the money our farmers need. Thats why only 4* as it is a Farmers Market not a place for Big Wigs.

The summer Thursday farmers market is a fantastic event with farm fresh everything and a small amish stand with great food not to mention all the other stands

I wish thy stop blocking the road for this shindig some of us work .I no this is Elmira so ther aint to many working. most on welfare . so move the park to the park !!!
Fresh veggies for sale. It was sad to see the abandoned church across the street. I hope it can someday be restored.

2021-07-01A center of Elmira community. I frequent the farmers market in the summer. They have other events here throughout the year. But this is not the kind of park for children to play or to have a picnic.

2021-03-11Nice area to enjoy the outside! Plenty of benches and shade trees. It is surrounded by city blocks with businesses so not really quiet but a nice park.

2020-08-13Had a wonderful 4 hours at Wisner Park today! Garlic Herb bread, Snap Beans, grape juice hermetically sealed( cant get the top off!) Onions, potatoes, beautiful cut flowers, honey stix.....got most with the over the 60 coupons. Popsicles on a hot day are THE best!

2018-11-11I stopped at wisner park to do some work with my phone. It was also a good place to reflect on the bustle of the traffic passing by. Also, there are several Pokemon go stops scattered about, and, in the summer, places to feed oneself in the middle of the day from local vendors or just relax.

2017-06-08Good food, good music, lots of local businesses selling handmade things. Fun atmosphere. My kids got their faces painted and ran around. Lots of fun!

2019-07-11People trash Elmira, but Thursdays in the Park are nice and relaxing. Plus I can get a giant bag of Amish baked goods for under $10!

2020-03-02Downtown Development is dedicated to this fine park located in the heart of Downtown Elmira. There are always great events and a welcoming environment.
