Good Work. Honest GuyIve been going to this shop on and off for a few years. My main mechanics are in Queens and Long Island. When I am on a time crunch or have issues getting to Queens/LI this is shop I use.Labor rate is what is it, but where Joe can give you a little discount he will.The guys here to great work and Joe is a stand up guy. Great repair shop! never pressures you into any stupid repairs you dont need. Saved me lots of money I didnt need to spend. Explains all the things done and makes you aware of whats is happening to your car. Great experience. Third time here. Took my and my parents cars to be fixed and have not had a problem with any of their work. Will make it my future go to place.
Moved into a new area and needed a new service station. Luckily I found this one. Joe, the owner and his mechanics were very friendly, and I trusted him immediately. He showed me the test results on the battery and fluids, and told me what I needed and what I did not and what I would need later. Got a new battery, state inspection and oil and filter changed all for under $200. Very reasonable price and it got done very quickly. I will go back there for all my auto needs, Great place.
I’ve been going to Joe’s tri state total car care since I moved from the bx in 2008. Him and his team welcomed us in our time of mechanical needs. They have been extremely courteous, efficient, fast and fair with the value of service. Just today 11/15/18,in our first snow of the season, he was there once again to help us with a flat tire. Before my kids where able to settle in they were done with the flat tire. I’m extremely greatfull for their service to our community. I’m glad I can always count on their team. He went in to inquire about having his brakes looked at. He was asked if he was leaving his car or staying. My brother said he really didnt want to leave the car. Immediately the employee said, Well what do you expect me to take you and forget about all these other people? My brother said, No, thats not what I meant, I meant I wasnt prepared to leave my car thats all. The employee then said, I feel threatened, do I need to get a couple of my guys out here to help me with this? My brother then said, never mind and left. My brother indicated to me that he felt Racially Profiled because he was the only African American in the entire place at the time. The employee was very loud and rude. Why would you yell at a person, then say do I need to get a couple of my guys out here to help me with this? DO NOT GO HERE !!!! IM SO GLAD MY BROTHER CHOSE TO WALK AWAY! NOT TODAY WERE YOU GOING TO PUSH THE BUTTONS ON THIS MAN AND SEND HIM TO JAIL!
This is the only place I would take my cars to. Great customer service and experience. The crew knows everything about all makes and models, and their prices cant be beat. Keep up the good work Joe.
The guy at the front desk is a con artist and this is a shame business. MIKE told me he wont use my brake pads I bought he will use his own because mine isnt ceramic. It clearly says it on the box ceramic. I asked for an estimate and he said $600 for rotors and brakes front back. I asked for a discount he said hell see what he can do after the job. When the job was complete he charged me $640. Stating that he gave me a discount and threw in a cheap kit. This company hired a conman
To start, the reviewer by the name of joe ind is actually the owner of this shop. hes a liar and is falsely impersonating a customer. Obviously these guys are crooks. ive gone there 2 times and they charged me for the exact same work on the second visit as they did the first visit. when i questioned the guy behind the counter, he became indignant and unprofessional, attempting to explain while making me out to be a fool. they are dishonest, and i absolutely believe they sabotaged my car. going there was a real mistake. avoid this place at all costs. i currently am experiencing issues which i strongly believe are related to the brake work they did for me. i will try and update this post upon confirmation of my hunch.
Complete con artist. First, I brought my first car in for a break pad and rotor replacement for the front two wheels because i wore it down to the metal. I brought in the parts, they did the labor, it was done all fair and square.I totaled that car some months later. I brought in a different car that had some years on it for a state inspection. He made a big fuss about how the capiler was seized and giving friction to the front left wheel. He was very demonstrative about it. The car is on the lift, he says Here, roll the back tire. I did. See how it turns easily? Now roll the front tire. I turn the front, it is ever so slightly harder to turn, but no big deal. That was his big show and tell demonstration. He was ready to hike me up $700. Turns out when i get a second opinion with a phone call, since front wheels are pad breaks and rear wheels are drum breaks, the slight difference is expected. I went to a different mechanic, passed state inspection without a hitch.To add to just how self-centered this guy is, I brought my two little daughters with me and when I arrive he tells me to hurry up, time is money. So I hustle to get the stroller out and the kids. I mention that my previous car was totaled, and this was a different car, because he wanted to look up my reference by name since I was there before.$37 later with a failed test, I am about to leave, I ask him for the laundry list of things he found wrong with the car. He tells me that they are HIS notes, and that We are done here. Yup, right you are we are done here forever.I give this guy a 10/10 for most rotten, lying, manipulative, mechanic Ive ever known. Complete shame to the human race.

Sad excuse for a repair shop. I went there because when I was on a road trip to MA; I realized that my tire was balding. So I stopped there to get my tire repaired or replaced. It was the closest place on the way there. Discount tires? ha. $40 per tire plus $80 labor. WHAT A RIP OFF!! I have a place on long island that I couldve gotten the tire for $40 flat. They seem very unreliable and a bunch of scam artists. I seen a church lady go in there expecting to pay about $200, he then decided to tell her that I seen that there was more problems with your car after I received it & her bill went up to $800. Like are you serious? You really shouldnt go there if you dont know much about cars. Because then they will really rip you off. I will never go there again & I would advise you to do the same. As far was the people that gave this place a good review, You probably go ripped off and didnt realize it. I relied on the reviews of this place before I went and Im so sorry I ever came. So dont always rely on what other people say. THANKS FOR RIPPING ME OFF.
Very professional and they were able to order the exact tire I needed right away. It was cheaper to get the tire I needed through them instead of from dealership. Both me and my husband have done business here and will continue to come here for both of our vehicles.

Good service but overcharges are typical of mechanics. Was charged 2x for a basic tire. Buy your tires online and just have it installed there for $20 each.
I was in and out in less than 10 minutes ! I needed a safety inspection for a new car. The gentleman was nice and polite. Cracked a few jokes too. They even moved my registration tag for me because it was too centered. Will go back for other needs!
Almost ruined my car last year. Went for transmission fluid change and the next day had horrible rumbling, immediately took it to nearest shop. Turned out my fluid was dark and outrageously low. They likely drained it and forgot to fill it up somehow. Ive had an decent (albeit overpriced) experience here before but Ill never go back
Joe went the extra mile to get me back on the road quickly when I got a flat tire while passing through on my way to the Catskills.
I have no idea if the reviewers are competitors or what but ive found that these guys are honest and dont BS anything. I actually went in for a repair and told them i wanted a tune-up. joe told me that a tune-up would be over $160 since i have a turbo and that hed have my vehicle checked out and see what it needed. after an air-filter change he told me i was good for another 5k miles. this certainly doesnt sound like theyre trying to rip me off.

Went in needing a battery replaced and emissions test and they did everything in a snap. Its an old car and probably needs more work but they didnt pressure me to get services I dont absolutely have to have. I really appreciate that and they will be the first place Ill go next time.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOPI wasted a couple hours of my life with these scumbags yesterday.Both the 330 and the E46 M3 need an alignment. I originally made an appointment for both Saturday morning but upon second thought decided to not take the M3 and just take the 330.Unfortunately, Ive taken my cars to enough scumbags to first try them out on the 330.Good thing I did.The guy quoted the typical 89.95 on the phone. I bring the car in and confirm the price. The guy says its 89.95 but it depends on how the car is, because BMWs are full of problems and tricky.He also says I can come back at 1200 to pick it up, but I tell him I will stay and watch.I notice their awesome Hunter machine and relax a bit as it looks pretty damn cool. I wait 30 min for them to set stuff up and then the guy comes out to me with a printout.Before getting close he hollers out this is a disaster. This will be 200-250.I look at the print outfront camber: -1.3 -1.4front toe: 0.00 0.05rear camber -2.2 -1.9rear toe 0.15 0.28So, I tell him the front camber is perfectly fine, the front toe is pretty good too. The only thing that needs adjusting is the rear camber and toeThe guy says its $150-$200 to do the rear. I tell him that is ridiculous, that this is just turning a few bolts. He says that is what it costs, but that he can take the car down if I dont agree.According to him, BMWs (on stock suspension and tires) need a race car alignment. Because racecar bro!please avoid these people like the plague.
They are the most honest, ethical, and reasonably priced auto mechanics I have EVER encountered in my life. They do everything systematically without rushing. Highly recommended!

Im been there for a nail in my tire.No Pb we can fixe it!At the afternoon in fact no we cant fixe it and your other tire are not good too ( 2 news tires).I was very busy and need my car so... Ok change it!Result: Around $700, 2 differents brand of pair of tires and big problems of shaking and vibrations in the steeling after balance and alignment!!!!I go back there and talk about the skanking and the vibrations but no more polit and nice like its not our pb anymore or that should be your wheels and of course we can do that... Arround the same price of the 2 tires!So Im going to the brand car dealer where I bought my car and...Verdict: BAD WORK! BAD CHOISE OF TIRES (should have 4 same tires OF THE SAME BRAND) and cause that shaking and vibration!Now I must buy 2 new tires and maybe paid more because new damage with the shaking.For this type of car (mine) a REAL PROFESSIONAL know to do not mixe 2 types of tires and get the good brand, MAKE A GOOD WORK and ADMIT and APOLOGIZE for his MISTAKE!
Went here about a year ago for snow tires after Mavis couldnt get their stuff together. These guys got me the tires in 24-48 hours.

Theres no parking except for small space in front of building, but you cant truly park there because thats how the gong in for repair and finished repair cars go in and out of shop. The only guy at front desk smokes inside the shop, so the cigarette smoke SLAPS you in the face as soon as you open door to enter shop.

They dont accept Amex and be ready to get upcharged. Not open on Saturdays. They were a preferred Tire Rack installer and they charged me twice the estimated Tire Rack quote.
Well let me start by saying that the act like they know what they are doing but they dont a lot of maybe its this or maybe its that .. They argue like cats and dogs in front of everyone like crazy .. So a wheel alignment that cost me $217 dollars that couldnt be done now they tell me to go see a mechanic which I tough thats what they where suppose to be.. Oh I forgot I spend like 6 hours there the truck its worst now then before ..What a joke .. Save your money .... See someone that has mechanics that know what they are doing ..

2022-01-25Took my car to get new tires, they have a sign that says honk to open door so i honked and waited about a minute, no one opened so i honked again, only then an older gentleman peeked from the garage windows, he looked bothered from my honking, and made a gesture with his hand like saying what do you want so i pointed at my tires, he then signaled what i understood as we are eating come back in an hour didnt even bother to open the door for me and tell me in person. Oh well, his loss.

2021-06-29Yonkers discount tire saved me! I am not from Yonkers, but found myself in the area with a tire that was quickly going flat on the highway while I was trying to get home upstate. I had tried to save the tire myself with fix a flat but it was beyond salvaging. They took me in immediately (right around closing time), got a tire put onto my car within 10 minutes & had me safely on my way for an amazing price. Thank you for getting me home safely & being so accommodating. You are life savers! Highly recommend this business.

2020-11-21Called on Saturday midday, arrived at 12:45 PM for a tire replacement - out of there by 2 PM job done and done well for the best price around - the next closest tire price I got in the are was 60 bucks higher! Good service, great price, and amazing turnaround time. All professional and quick.

The guy at the front desk, Joe, always takes the time to explain whats wrong with the car, why it happened, what they want to do, and he always makes an effort to find the most affordable option for you. 2021-02-06Had a new battery installed. I dont think I was there for 15 minutes. I couldnt believe has fast it was. The person at the desk was courteous and friendly. He was very helpful as far as giving me information to make my decision.

2020-12-04I went in because my car inspection was about to expire that day and I was well into late afternoon to make it to my usual place. I quickly googled and led me to this location, a 6 minute drive from Ridgehill Mall. We call before and the man on the phone didn’t seem too warm and just warned that if we don’t arrive before 4:30, he cannot do it. Fair, since they close at 5 pm, even though an inspection for a 2 year old car takes no more than 10 minutes. We arrive and there are two guys, one older sitting at a desk and a younger one opening the gates to let us in. The younger guys warms up and let’s us know to take our registration to the man at the desk and he will get the inspection started. He meanders around the shop looking for what he needs to start inspection and brings over a machine to check tire pressure, does all four tires starting with the front and moving toward the back tires. He walks over to computer and starts inserting information, walks over to the man at the desk, and then proceeded to say, that our tires in the front should be changed. At first I thought, he was just mentioning it to us, to let us know. I thanked him and politely informed him that the car is a lease, and I will be returning it within the month or so.Defensively, he starts to preach that if I take the car back with those tires, they will charge me double, even triple, what they are worth and that I should change them there.Being that I have been leasing and returning cars for the last 8-10 years, I’m very familiar with that being a false statement. I told him no thank you, and then he goes to say that he cannot pass me because it’s too dangerous to leave with the tires and that it’s raining outside aswell.At this point I notice what is going on, they are trying to make money off of people who may not be as knowledgeable as they are on cars. What they did not know is that I’m knowledgeable in body language and I can sniff out a liar pretty quickly.I thank them for their time wasted and said I will go elsewhere. They both then started saying that no one will pass my car. I didn’t feel the need to reply to any of what they were saying because I did something better, not waste either party’s time and left.BADDDD BUSINESS.The following day, I risked getting a ticket to just go to my trusted business to get my inspection and it took 10 minutes, in and out. I mentioned to them the incident from the day before and both men at the shop laughed and reassured me that I have “plenty” of life on the front tires.THEY TRY TO MAKE BUSINESS BY BEING DISINGENUOUS.If they somehow change that quality about them, they have potential to be a good business but if they continue in this route, there are other businesses close by that will win on integrity alone. It pains me to advise anyone not to support small business but I felt indebted to at least let people know and make their own judgment call. One thing is for certain, I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT SHOP AGAIN.Good Luck.

2020-12-27No no do not buy any tires from here.. I spent almost 500.00 for sports tires for my máxima.. The rubber is breaking on the end.. It’s been about 9 months... (no name brand) I bought tires from Sams club about the same time and they are in better shape and they cost the same. Amount ( good year)

2018-11-21Got taken care of Thanksgiving eve, with no appointment @4PM. Told me to buy the tires I wanted on Amazon cause it was a better deal than what he could offer. Nice waiting area showroom with a few classic cars to look at. Highly recommended, not to mention convenient from anywhere in Yonkers.
